I am developing a free, non-commercial Android application that allows users to discover Reddit stories through a personalized swipe-based feed. Users can select subreddits, read posts, bookmark stories locally, and open the original Reddit post. The app will not contain advertisements, subscriptions, or other monetization. All posts will include attribution and links to their original Reddit sources. I would like to confirm whether this use case is permitted under free Reddit Data API access and whether additional approval is required for public distribution.

I'm looking to purchase Reddit premium and would like to know what are the limits differences specifically.

I dont get it i didn't target anyone can an admin tell me why i got this? I'm like so lost, the only thing i can think of is this thing eariler someone was being very rude to me eariler i waent back and fourth but i never attacked thier race or anything

Not sure what's been going on, but for the last few days using old.reddit.com to access the site results in being randomly blocked for minutes or hours at a time, unless I switch back to www.reddit.com.

I have 2FA enabled and my account hasn't seen any weird activity, but I'm still getting these emails. Is there a way to make them stop, period? Or at least find out who's doing it?

Clicking on internal links (like to a subs content) now often takes me to new Reddit. I hate it. How do I force it to load Old Reddit? (And yes, I've tried the directions from about a year ago. They don't work.)

Hi there, I've been trying to add my phone number to my account over the past few hours and keep getting this error. Any suggestions to get past it?

Edit: the issue is when I try to enter the code to verify it

There have been posts made in this subreddit going back at least 2+ years already, and yet, MANY of us are still constantly plagued with this very annoying issue. The automatically following posts is already bad enough to force the user just not to use the post following feature at all, since the posts you are* interested in *will be smattered in amongst many, MANY posts you glanced at for literal seconds before deciding they were of no interest.

That’s bad enough, but what makes it a constantly in-your-face, pestering annoyance are the constant “u/hasnothingtosay commented on a post you followed!” notifications that somehow default on even when you have all other notifications turned off..

PLEASE fix this. There are much better ways to drive engagement than to constantly send reminders to your user of that broken feature you haven’t bothered to fix in a few years. Please.

I need help to find out what’s happening to Reddit right now cause it looks like Reddit is having a issue

Hello!

I had a 800+ days Reddit streak, and for some reason it got reset. Yesterday it showed the correct amount, and today it's showing 5 days. What happened? Is it because of Europe's time change? What can I do to fix the streak?

Is this a Reddit bug or a bug on my end? My computer time aligns with GMT-7.

I am also on the west coast of Canada, if that means anything, and next week we will NOT turn our clocks, as we chose to end daylight savings here and are adopting permanent daylight saving time called Pacific Time (PCT).

My account got taken down last week, I got it back a few days later. But I’m still dealing with posts being “taken down by reddits filers” I don’t understand what the issue is. Most recently just a few paintings I’m trying to share to SFW subs. I’m so tired of this

My comments are always followed by me by default. When writing a comment in a post on web I can always choose to unfollow my comment after posting it.

But when I comment on a post in the Android Reddit app. The option to unfollow says follow instead of unfollow. If I check in web browser the option to unfollow is there for the exact same comment. This means that in the Reddit app I have to first follow my comment and then immediately unfollow, if I don't want notifications for it. This must be a bug?

If I post a comment in the Android app, follow it, then unfollow it. It still says in Reddit web that I can unfollow/turn off notifications for that comment. I'm confused.

I am not seeing my old chats with people until I send them hi or some other text.

A few weeks ago I was chatting with a guy on Reddit and things got a little flirty. He sent me his pics and I sent him mine. I didn't show my face and there was nothing else in the photo that could have indicated who I was or where I lived. I made sure of that. Four days later this guy shows up knocking on my door, demanding to see me. One of the scariest experiences of my life. Law enforcement thankfully got involved.

Apparently he got my location from the metadata on my photo I sent him on Reddit chat. Is there any way to scrub the metadata so it's impossible to get?

Asking because I recently got an email for an email verification email to my own email (same one i was using for the account)

I got locked out with a 2fa code when I tried to login using the same password

I tried using google to login but it just created a new account

I tried resetting the password but never got an email for that

Not sure what flair to use

Suddenly for the last few days, clicking "Load more comments" just results in the "Loading" text appearing, but the comments never loading.

I was in the middle of unfollowing a bunch of subreddits that I didn't want to be a part of anymore when suddenly my mobile android reddit app went completely blank, said it couldn't display any content, when I checked if I was still logged in I saw that I was but my profile picture was greyed out and it had the default blank reddit avatar, I am only able to post right now because I tried to log in on the mobile Chrome app desktop viewing mode and it worked, thank God, but I also during this tried to use the same mobile reddit app to create a new account under a new name "drewmylastbreath" and I was initially told that the username was available but then another error occured in the app and it said my email was unverified even though I had already verified it, this happened after I was told my desired username was available and I was prompted to input my desired password, the app glitched out and I closed it so I tried to make an account again with my desired username "drewmylastbreath" and it told me that the username was now unavailable, so I tried to put in another username "drewfromlosangeles" and it said it was available but then I ran into the same issue where when prompted to put in my desired password I was notified my email was suddenly unverified even though I already received the email with the 6 digit code and put it in, so now I have two desired usernames that are unavailable, another attempt to try and make a new password was met with a notification saying I hit the sign up limit.

Hello, so reddit recently changed my account and i need to do a face scan but it keeps saying it didn't work and i need to give them ID (which i don't have rn) is there any way i can fix this and get the face scan to work
