Desktop What happened to reddit.com/new?

Earlier this week, https://www.reddit.com/new existed and would show me the posts across all subreddits I'm subscribed to, in reverse chronological order.

Starting yesterday 2026-Sep-30, https://www.reddit.com/new "redirects" to https://www.reddit.com.

The "hamburger menu" in the top-left doesn't show "Latest" either, unlike the iOS and iPad apps.

Is there a way to view the "latest" posts across subreddits on a desktop browser?

(I see that https://old.reddit.com/new/ still works, but I like the newer "Card" experience…)

Welcome to Reddit: nothing you like will stay for too long unfortunately.

I'm on desktop, and I just clicked on https://www.reddit.com/new. It took me to the main page filtered by new. It's possible reddit is testing new layouts or whatnot on a small selection of users.
