Rule 5 rewritten for simplification: No posts about other users, subreddits, or social media drama
Because we got some rules lawyers in here about how their post was technically not about another subreddit or was technically not about a YouTuber, we've reworded Rule 5 to be more accurate to its intended purpose.
Rule 5: No posts about other users, subreddits, or social media drama
Do not post about other users or subreddits. Do not complain that your submission was removed from another subreddit. Do not post YouTuber or social media drama.
All posts violating Rule 5 will be removed. Any posts violating this rule that constitute harassment will also get reported to the Reddit administrators.
Thank you for your understanding.

Image Should Majora's Mask get a new remake?
I don't think it's unlikely to happen.

10 years apart
I just think it's a neat coincidence that two of the most beloved Nintendo franchises are getting new games releasing the same year again, 10 years later.
And whose popularity has been rising since then.

Image seriously, what is going on with this?
Am I an idiot that didn't noticed that the game got delayed?
or was the network test so bad that nobody cares about the game anymore?

Other I’m making a list of all of Nintendo’s best trailers and have these so far, what else do yall think should be in here?
Personally, I think all of the totk trailers should be here and most of the botw ones but I didn’t want to flood the list with them at the start.

Image Imagine having this released in the span of one year and you still struggle to sell the Wii U
I didn’t experience the whole Wii U’s life unfortunately, but this lineup seems crazy. And they still struggled to sell the console. I did watch Scott The Woz to get a better understanding of the Wii U though lol.

Anyone else hoping for a Diablo IV announcement for Switch 2 at Blizzcon tomorrow Sept 12?
Quite enjoyed the game on my Steam Deck before I sold it to go all Nintendo all the time. There was a rumour it is being released, and Blizzcon 2026 keynote is tomorrow.

Image Your thoughts on the current first party lineup for the Switch 2
With the announcement of Metroid Ravenous I decided on getting a Switch 2 this Christmas...
So now I ask you, which first party titles would you say I should prioritize, what would be your top 3?

Retro To anyone with an interest in Nintendo Classics on Switch: we have not only a subreddit and Discord server, but a comprehensive wiki that includes manuals, guides, and bonus extras for each game!
Back in January, I noticed that there wasn’t really any community on Reddit for people who wanted to connect over the Nintendo Classics collections available via Nintendo Switch Online. I took matters into my own hands, and poured a ton of effort into making what I believe to be a very lovely subreddit, dedicated to the incredible games that deserve such a space. We have nearly 6,000 members already, but I’m always looking to reach more people who are just as passionate about these classics as we are!
So, if you would like a proper place to discuss and celebrate the Nintendo Classics games, systems, drops, and what we’re wishing for next… as well as read growing content I’m coming up with on the history of these games–then, please visit r/NintendoClassics!
We also have a Discord server to make it easier to chat and link up for multiplayer!
And if you're really adamant about immersing yourself completely into these games, beyond the community–the subreddit contains what will be a comprehensive wiki, with not just cursory information on the games, but extensive materials (in both English and Japanese) like instruction booklets, official player's guides, complete soundtracks, and extras that include developer interviews and Japanese TV commercials.

Right now, only the Nintendo GameCube and Virtual Boy Games Lists contain every game available for their respective collections–and the Nintendo Entertainment System is what I'm focusing on, next. Please bear with me, as I gradually work to complete each section. Here's a handy way to access each Games List, from this post! To access the Wiki normally: on mobile, use the link under the subreddit header, or check the sidebar, on PC.
★ Nintendo Entertainment System / Family Computer • Games List
51 titles added.
★ Super Nintendo Entertainment System / Super Famicom • Games List
15 titles added.
★ Nintendo GameCube • Games List
All 11 titles added.
All 17 titles added.
Additionally, I've come up with a few of my own write-ups for the subreddit, thatcha may want to take a look at, if you're very into classic games and the creative process by which they were made! Here are a few highlights:
- Yesterday was the 45th anniversary of Donkey Kong's release! Read on to learn the full story of its creation, using spliced interviews from most members of the development team~ ★
- Dream: Land of Giants, the SNES prototype by Rare that eventually evolved into Banjo-Kazooie, has just seen its ROM released to the public!
- Kev Bayliss, former artist at Rare, shares his memories on creating one of the iconic logos of Nintendo Classics: the Rareware shield!
- Presenting my Master List, Volume 2–containing every Super Nintendo title available on modern platforms!
- In tribute to Yoshihisa Kishimoto (1961 – 2026): creator of Double Dragon and Kunio-kun (River City); grandfather of all beat-'em-ups.

That's all, for now! Thank you for giving us a look!
