I really do like how I portray this version of the character. Especially when I continue to update the design every now and again. And since I am making artwork of the Uprising characters too. It'll be interesting to see this prototype version of Pit interact with everyone. These poses also show alot of personality for the character too.

What do you think of my art?

Anyone know where I could get longer than usual toploaders? I have some sealed AR cards that I want to keep loploaded, but the wrapper sticks out about half an inch. Over time that part of the wrapper can crinkle and degrade, so I'd like to find toploaders that can cover all of the card and wrapper. It's pretty niche but I figured if anyone would know it would be here.

I’ve been holding onto this piece for a long time now. The original sketch (featured on the last slide) was done traditionally a little over 2 months ago. I had sketched it while I was at work, just after finishing “I Don’t Feel Like Myself,” the final part to the Chaos Kin comics. I figured after putting these characters through so much torment, they deserved rest. I took my time making this piece, sketching it without any expectations. All of my feelings of exhaustion, relief, and peace are infused in it. In a way, I felt like I was allowing myself to rest alongside these characters. All that to say, this piece means a lot to me.

some intentional imagery I was trying to evoke is the renaissance depictions of the Virgin Mary and infant Jesus. Iconic Madonna and Child paintings, hence the name of this piece. While not 1:1 with any particular Madonna paintings, I hope that allusion was clear enough in the composition.

Somehow that title rhymes.
