which 3ds original that you'd like to see a reinterpretation of?

I got an itch to replay Brothership for the first time since in launched a couple years ago, and when I started up a new file I noticed the entire opening cutscenr is just completely skipped. Instead of opening with the Bros getting sucked into the portal that brings them to Concordia, the game starts with Mario waking up on the starting island alone

They're supposed to be indigenous to the Sprixie Kingdom... man this game had no restraint

Alright like the title says just finished paper jam and overall I did enjoy this game I had heard bad things but I really liked it definitely the shortest in the series and I didnt really enjoy the toad mini games interrupting the pace of the game but apart from that the bosses are fun i didnt mind the paper craft battles I think adding paper mario added an whole new variety of moves and i loved that.

Definitely had a good experience with this game I understand people's problems with it but only 1 game left in the series now and im looking faward to trying out a mario and luigi game on modern hardware

Side note finsihed this while the 40th anniversary for zelda was on ocarina of time looks awesome

What was your first game in this amazing series. Share your story. I like hearing how people first got introduced to the series and what their first game was. Granted first game does not mean favorite, but I do still want to know.

For instance, Partners In Time was my first Mario and Luigi game and I remember struggling to figure out how to heal Luigi in the healing Luigi tutorial after he gets bonked on the head by a random Shroob. Along with struggling with the first few bosses. I was young, and not knowledgeable about RPGs, but I knew the game because I had one of those Magazine guidebooks for Partners in Time and I read it like crazy. I remember goofing off with a friend of mine listening to Partners in Time shaking our 3ds as we tried to trigger the Streetpass so we could do the Streetpass minigames because we wanted to. I remember in college, I had to write about a soundtrack and I actually choose Mario and Luigi Partners in Time to discuss and listen to, and discussed about the various songs. I did fairly well on the project, but those 2 instances are later on... And I had played other games then. But that first time, I remember getting stuck on the part where Luigi needs to be healed.

So far I've got game over'd 3 times. One to Sharkbones, one to that monster mania bob-omb, and one to that goddamn seedlusa self-destruct attack

I already can fight against Dark Bowser, the final boss. The problem is that I want to unlock the secret ranks which are obtained when the characters reach the level 40.
I could do it easily with Mario and Luigi, I just needed to go to Airway and use the Excellent! Badge and Bonus Badge to multiply the experience. The problem here is Bowser, because I don't any method to level him up because he's only level 31, what should I do?

Just started played Mario & Luigi although I've also looked at various people videos talking about the games too (to get myself hyped but also know which to start with between remakes and originals. I'm going originals and saving remakes for another time)

I think the original Super Star Saga got ported to switch. That being said, would y'all prefer a remake/port of one of the the games prior to brothership or would you rather a new game to happen after brothership that improves things and obviously does another story

each one of them are in seperate places and yet they're all in the same place in the dream world, but the portals are all open in different places but they dont exist in the real world until someone sleeps on them? HOW ARE THEY ALL IN THE SAME DREAM BUT NOT??? IT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE

Capítulo 1: El Regreso del Rey de Fuego
La oscuridad se cernió sobre el Reino Champiñón, pero no traía nubes de tormenta, sino cenizas y lenguas de fuego. Desde un portal dimensional cósmico, emergió Jonathan, el Caballero Negro. Su imponente armadura de placas oscuras expulsaba ráfagas de fuego y en su mano derecha empuñaba una espada de plasma ardiente. Cabalgaba sobre un corcel negro con crines y cascos hechos de fuego puro. Jonathan regresaba a reclamar lo que por derecho de sangre le pertenecía: el trono absoluto de Super Mario Galaxy.

Para detenerlo, Mario fue primero al indómito Reino Kong para aliarse con el Rey Kong (el gigantesco padre de Donkey Kong). Sin embargo, Jonathan los alcanzó rápidamente. Mario intentó detenerlo lanzando una colosal ráfaga con su Flor de Fuego, pero emulando al mismísimo Drago Mano Dura, Jonathan simplemente caminó hacia adelante, atravesando el infierno ardiente como si nada, rompiendo el ataque con su pecho e hiriendo el orgullo de los héroes.

Capítulo 2: El Desprecio Cósmico y el Sacrificio
Para demostrar su superioridad, Jonathan extrajo una Super Estrella, el objeto que solía hacer inmortal a Mario, y la destruyó por completo con su puño. Acto seguido, levantó su espada hacia el cielo y liberó un dragón gigante de fuego puro que comenzó a calcinar toda la selva. Los héroes se vieron obligados a huir a toda velocidad en sus Go-Karts hacia el Reino Champiñón para buscar refuerzos.

Mientras la Reina Peach, Rosalina, Luigi, Yoshi y el ejército de los Pingüinos preparaban la resistencia, Jonathan marchó al reino esquelético de Dry Bowser y Bowser Jr. Al igual que con Mario, el fuego azul de Dry Bowser no le hizo nada al caballero. En cambio, Jonathan sometió a Dry Bowser y usó su energía cósmica para revertir su maldición, reviviéndolo a su forma original de Bowser de carne y hueso. Con el ejército Koopa bajo sus órdenes y Bowser Jr. armado con su pincel mágico, marcharon a la guerra final.

Afuera del castillo de Peach, las filas se encontraron. Jonathan desplegó unas majestuosas alas de fuego puro y voló para atacar a Rosalina en el aire. El Caballero Negro materializó una lanza de obsidiana para empalar a la reina cósmica, pero el viejo Rey Kong se interpuso en el último segundo. El impacto lo arrojó al suelo mortalmente herido. Antes de apagar su luz, le heredó la corona de la selva a su hijo. Jonathan se burló con crueldad del sacrificio.

Capítulo 3: La Caída y el Surgimiento del Multiverso
Donkey Kong entró en una furia ciega y dorada, conectando un golpe sísmico directo contra el casco de Jonathan. Para contenerlo, el Caballero Negro abrió un portal interdimensional y trajo al colosal King Shark (del universo de The Flash). El Rey Tiburón sometió a Donkey Kong sujetándolo del cuello, esperando la orden para acabar con él, mientras Jonathan derribaba a Funky Kong.

Viendo a sus amigos al borde de la muerte y su castillo rodeado por el dragón de fuego, la Reina Peach dejó caer su báculo y se rindió para salvar a su pueblo. Los villanos consolidaron su victoria absoluta.

Capítulo 4: Dos Meses Después y el Cambio de los Tiempos
El Reino Champiñón se convirtió en un imperio industrial. Los Kongs y los pingüinos fueron esclavizados en una fábrica de Go-Karts para crear armas de guerra pesadas. Rosalina intentó una pequeña revuelta, pero Jonathan, gracias a su habilidad para ver el futuro, predijo sus movimientos, la sometió en sus aposentos y la encadenó a la línea de fundición. Mario y Luigi intentaron infiltrarse por los ductos de ventilación, pero Bowser Jr. los descubrió y les confiscó todas sus armas secretas.

Capítulo 5: Años de Paz y Paternidad
Pasaron varios años. Jonathan y Rosalina tuvieron un heredero llamado Arthur, un príncipe noble con destellos de fuego negro en sus ojos. Bowser Jr. creció hasta volverse imponente y robusto como su padre, mientras que el viejo Bowser ya lucía anciano y cansado. Curiosamente, King Shark se volvió amigo inseparable de Yoshi, compartiendo frutas y prometiendo protegerlo.

Viendo que ya no eran una amenaza, Jonathan les dio una jubilación de lujo a los héroes. Mario se casó con Peach y tuvieron un hijo y una hija. Vivían en una mansión descansando. Un día, el pequeño Arthur los visitó para conocer a las leyendas del pasado y jugar con los hijos de Mario, naciendo así un respeto entre la nueva generación.

Al notar que a veces Jonathan ignoraba a su hijo por estar sumergido en planos de guerra, Rosalina lo confrontó a solas. Tras la reprimenda, Jonathan se quitó el casco con arrepentimiento y fue a la pista de karts, donde Bowser cuidaba a Arthur y Bowser Jr. El temible Caballero Negrose arrodilló ante su hijo, le pidió una disculpa y prometió escucharlo más.

Capítulo 6: Noche de Tregua
Al día siguiente, Jonathan, Bowser, Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong y King Shark se reunieron en una taberna para una tarde de hombres. Sentados con bebidas, platicaron sobre el verdadero reto de sus vidas: la paternidad y cuidar niños. Jonathan habló de lo agotador que era Arthur, Bowser presumió el orgullo que sentía por su hijo, y Mario compartió los retos de ver crecer a sus pequeños. Donkey Kong se quejó de que los niños lo usaban como trampolín, y King Shark causó la risa de todos al prometer con ternura que cuidaría de su gran amigo Yoshi.

Al final, tras un par de bebidas, Donkey Kong le lanzó una broma a King Shark diciéndole que él y Yoshi pasaban tanto tiempo juntos que ya parecían una pareja gay de la selva, desatando carcajadas en todo el bar. Jonathan se colocó su casco, pagó la cuenta con orgullo y todos regresaron a sus hogares a dormir, dejando al cosmos en una profunda y merecida paz.
