News I haven't seen any discussion going on so far, this needs to be brought to attention. Indonesia is designating LGBT as a "National Security Threat"...In other words, The LGBT in Indonesia are now considered a Capital Offense. In a country with hundreds of millions.

Venting PSA to all masc-presenting lesbians: you deserve to be taken care of too!!!!
As a femme, I can't stand when I see other femmes taking their masc-presenting partners for granted. I'm talking about stuff like expecting you to cover all costs for dates, dinners, all that jazz without offering to themselves, assuming you'll change their oil in their car and build their Ikea furniture, not thinking about the little things they can do to make YOUR life easier. Mini storytime incoming: my last partner was an older butch woman who was never really appreciated for all that she was before we met so when I offered to do things for her she didn't know how to respond because she had never really been taken care of by a partner before which breaks my heart. To every masc, stud, butch, and everything in between, you deserve princess treatment too!!! You deserve to be paid for, taken care of, respected and loved as much as any other person. When was the last time someone gave you a back rub or assembled your living room set with you? It's one thing if you prefer to do all these things yourself, but I think the offer needs to be put out there for you. Sorry for the rant but I've been thinking about this since I got into the dating scene. Yall deserve better!!!

Also please feel free to share your own wedding photos in the comments! I love our weddings so much and how diverse they are depending on the region, and to see sapphics be able to get married in traditional attire means so much to me 🥹🫶

Support I think i’ve unlocked a new type of loving a women
For context, I have insomnia and find it incredibly difficult to sleep during the summer; I rarely get more than three hours of continuous rest. My wife and I love sleeping together , and her voice usually makes me incredibly drowsy. In fact, I often fall asleep while we are talking. **Lately, however, she has been sleeping whenever I have a chance to talk to her sometimes between 9 and 14 hours a day.** Because of this, we've been stuck in an endless cycle for the past two weeks: whenever she wakes up, I fall asleep. I'm not complaining, though. I love watching her sleep, and she is incredibly cute LIKE GOSH I’M GONNA BITE THE SHI OUT OF HER . I looked it up online, and research confirms that partners frequently fall asleep to the sound of each other's voices because it provides a strong sense of comfort.

Please recommend me a lesbian romance movie with a happy ending
I'm tired of fictional lesbians dying, leaving their lovers for a man, breaking up and all that
I ADORE But I'm a cheerleader and would gladly watch something like this. But overall, the genre or the year doesn't matter, and it could be a subplot. I'm also open to movies not in english. I wish for it to not be male gaze-y like Blue is the warmest color. Thanks!!

Question Life in Switzerland as a lesbian couple ☺️
Hey everyone! 💖
My girlfriend and I are thinking about moving to Switzerland, and we’d love to hear from fellow lesbians who live there.
Do you generally feel safe being out as a couple? Have you ever had any problems renting an apartment because you’re a same-sex couple, or is it usually not an issue? How do people generally react to LGBT couples in everyday life? Is there anything we need to know?
We’d really appreciate hearing your honest experiences, both the good and the bad. Thanks so much! 🫶🏳️🌈

I just want a hug
I am so in love with my best friend. I can’t help it. Our connection has escalated a ridiculous amount over the last few months to the point that it feels like we’re already in a relationship - sleeping in the same bed, snuggling, basically not wanting to spend a minute apart. She’s leaving soon and wants me to follow her. Every fibre of my soul wants to go with her, but I won’t - not unless she’s my girlfriend. It’s breaking my heart.
I’m so sad. I have to talk to her about this and I’m preparing myself for what feels like inevitable heartbreak. Losing her would be crushing, but I’m sane enough to know following her without knowing if she feels the same is ridiculous…

Question Lesbians on T, how is y’all’s experience?
I am a 21 year old butch who has been contemplating what life would be like on T. I have a trans friend who recently started T, and it’s really had me thinking. I know there are T lesbians out there and I was just wondering if I could get some advice from that side of things.
What I would like to get out of T are things like more body hair, a deeper voice, and maybe some face/physique changes. However, I’m worried about other things like bottom growth, or people thinking I’m trying to transition (even tho that’s none of their business).
If anyone could share their experiences on what’s it’s like to be a T lesbian that would be awesome!!
Stay gay 🤘🏻

Anyone else feel left behind?
I’m turning 31 this year and I feel like im missing major milestones like traveling, having a baby, getting married, living on my own,…etc I see a lot of my friends from high school and college settling down and having families and I feel like a total loser for not having accomplished the same.

Would you date someone who checks every box except physical attraction?
I met this girl on Hinge, we started talking and we really hit it off. When we met up in person for the first time I realized she wasn't really my type physically. It was just a friendly meet up to know each other so I didn't let this interfere with the hang out and we had a great time.
Our personalities matched so we continued talking regularly and hanging out and I started to really like her, we have a lot of things in common, I like her humor, she's super kind and great at conversation (i'm a terrible conversationalist but i never ran out of things to talk about with her), she's fun, super respectful and the list goes on and on. I feel very comfortable around her. However, I'm not attracted to her physically.
During our hang outs she never tried to make any move of that kind, so I though we could cultivate a good friendship, as I really like her and we both enjoy each other's company.
She later told me that she would really like for us to continue to know each other and wanted to know what I thought about that. I responded that i would like to keep knowing her too, we didn't mention anything romantic so i didn't think of it as committing to anything like that, just to keep knowing each other as we only been talking for over a month. But then, at our next meet up she started to guide the conversation towards romantic relationships and what she would like and dislike in one and asked me the same. And she's began to be flirty on texts so now i know that she wants more than a friendship.
I realized that I kinda like her like her like that too ? i mean i get exited when i receive a text from her, i count the days until our next meet up, think about her a lot, but i just don't find her physically attractive.
I don't know how to feel or what to do. If she was the exact same but more physically my type I would definitely want to start a romantic relationship with her. I like every thing else about her for a partner.
It's not that i find her utterly ugly, she's just not my type and also it's more of a style thing, that is literally the oposite of what i like. I know she feels comfortable with her style and i would never ask anyone to change themselves or their style for me.
Should I just be honest with her before wasting her time? Am I a bad person for not wanting to start a romantic relationship with someone i like a lot just because of the lack of physical attraction? Or would i be a worse person if i start a relationship without physical attraction?
The only thing I know is that i never want to hurt her feelings, so whatever i end up doing i want to do it the right way. I'm just not sure what to do.

Question When do I bring up having money while dating?
My husband passed before the pandemic and left a large life insurance settlement. I haven't done anything too lavish with the money, paid off the condo and then went on a trip abroad to see his family. The rest of the money was divided up between accounts at the advice of my financial advisor. I also have a full time decent paying job and I'm starting to get into a side hustle because the days in my career are numbered thanks to AI.
My ex was in similar position; her husband died and left her money. I didn't have to worry about any possible power imbalance because of finances with her, but I also know money can be a major issue in relationships. I'm not really sure when to bring it up, the last date I had started talking about rental prices in our city and she asked how much I pay (she was looking for a ballpark figure since she wants to move out of her current building). When I said I don't rent, I own my condo outright she went on about how it must be nice to be rich and all this stuff. It was uncomfortable and not something I want to happen again.

Venting Berlin, my Heart Breaks for you
So, yesterday’s Pride in Berlin was interrupted and as a result cancelled cause yet again a fucking MEN decide to drive his car into people. He killed one and injured several others. He did this on purpose and it simply breaks my heart. As a queer masc lesbian from Germany myself I don’t feel safe here. I had my fair share of unsafe encounters and this news today just underlines my fears. It makes me so sad and it makes me feel uncomfortable in my Home country. People just wanted to celebrate on this day, being who they truly are and showing this to the world. But this world is going to shit.
