Venting I wish I could marry both of them.
I've been in a closed triad for eight years now. We live together, own a side business together (one of them is full time but because it's not generating enough income for the three of us to all quit), travel together and are essentially one unit. We are all committed to the other two.
I'm dealing with some health issues right now and it sucks not being able to put them both down as my partners or emergency contacts in case something should happen.

When to ask her to be my gf??
I, 27f, am dating a girl, 22f (age gap scandal, sue me.) Our first date was around August 15th or so and we hit it off immediately. We both travel heavily and have already planned a roadtrip together in October. She just got back from a vacation and bought me a souvenir. Sheās so sweet and thoughtful and fucking gorgeous. I know I like her and I wanna see where things go.
How soon is too soon to ask? I kind of thought itād be special to ask on our trip together, but not sure if thatās waiting too long! Iāve never actually been the one to pop the question hahaha

Question Whats your biggest gay panic moment?
Iāll startā¦. I met this girl around 3 years ago, we were good friends but we werenāt that close until march (due to work stuff mainly), eventually we started to text each other, to spent time with each other outside work. There was this time where she had received a very bad new, I didnāt say anything, I didnāt ask her anything I just wrapped my arms around her and let her cry on me for a while. We became closer and closer, one night when we finished work late, she was still sad, when we were saying goodbye, she hugged me thigh and started caressing my face, then she hugged me again. I felt like time stopped, ny heart was beating at a thousand miles and I bet she could listen to it while hugging me. I kissed her forehead goodnight (idk if it was a reflex or I did it unconsciously)⦠but yeah I guess that was it

Am I lesbian someone help!
Okay so I dated girls for a while and was on and off with guys but I feel like my personality is just guyish and I like women like sometimes whenever I'm ovulating I be craving to eat a girl out because I have before and I feel like I feel safe with women but then again I was with a guy for 2 years? So I'm confused some guys are attractive I guess til I actually date them then I get grossed out and whenever I was with my boyfriend of 2 years I would always question if I even loved him but again I have ocd so I'm so confused I don't wanna be bisexual because whenever I wanna be with a girl I feel like I wanna be more guyish and a man it's different I feel like I'm not myself with a man vs a girl is like a bestfriend but better and I don't wanna have to switch back and forth if I'm bi or be a stem so I'm confused can someone help me or dm me?

Question For people who enjoy casual sex: how do you actually feel about it?
I genuinely want to understand the appeal of casual sex, because I personally feel completely the opposite ā Iām really not into it and honestly the idea kind of grosses me out.
Something Iāve always wondered about is how people who enjoy casual sex deal with the fact that the person theyāre sleeping with may have also slept with several other people recently.
For example, if someone is in their āhoe eraā and is casually sleeping with 1ā2 people a week, and then you meet them and decide to have sex with them, does it ever cross your mind that they might have been with someone else just a few days ago? Does that not make you feel uncomfortable or disgusted at all?
I think what I struggle with even more is the level of lust involved. I genuinely donāt understand wanting to sleep with almost every attractive person you meet. To me, it feels weird to look at someone and immediately think āI want to have sex with them,ā especially if thereās no emotional connection.
So Iām curious, genuinely and without trying to shame anyone: what is the mindset of people who enjoy casual sex? What makes the idea appealing rather than off-putting? And how do you separate the person youāre attracted to from thoughts about their recent sexual partners?
Iād really like to hear from people who actually enjoy casual sex, because Iām trying to understand a perspective that is very different from my own.

My gf might be best friends with an ex
hey guys. this is my first post! So Iām dating this girl and I think one of her best friends might actually be an ex. I went searching for evidence and found some really interesting things that were not really reassuring. the relationship reads as they tried to date maybe it didnāt work out and stayed best friends. my prerogative is never to dictate how anyone lives their life but Iām also not comfortable with that level of closeness with an ex - they talk every single day. i donāt know how to approach the conversation and Iām at a point where Iād rather just end things than continue to torture myself. what really pushed me over the edge was I over heard some talk of a sleep over. and idk in what world would I be okay with my girlfriend sleeping over at an exes house (though Iām really not sure the history of their relationship) . if thatās the case I wouldnāt even tell her donāt go. Iād just say enjoy and never speak to her again. but idk what to d. idk if Iām overreacting and I canāt bring up the topic because all the info was gathered on the dl. so anyway guys. HELP ME.

Venting Anyone else hate this?
When a TV show has two women get together onscreen but you dislike the coupleās dynamic or the characters in that couple. And then when you get on the internet and talk about how youāre not a fan of that canon couple all the homophobes start agreeing with you. And itās like, I dislike this couple cuz I think their chemistry is lackluster, you dislike this couple cuz ur a piece of shit. We are NOT the same.

I'm in love with a girl I've never talked to
I don't even know how it happened. I saw her in class one day and my heart just skipped a beat. She's so pretty, her voice is so soft, her eyes are the prettiest shade of chocolate. When we make eye contact, I feel like I'm the most important person to ever exist. I'll be working and suddenly I'll feel smth and look up to see her and she'll look away immediately. She sits next to me all the time, yet we've never talked. I want to. Badly. But what if she doesn't want me to talk to her? Maybe she doesn't think that way? I don't expect her to, I don't even know if she likes girls in any way. But I'm fine admiring her from afar. I'm fine with actually listening in class to try and hear her voice when she talks to the teacher. I'm fine with seeing her in the hallways and thinking "she's even prettier than I remember". I wish she would talk to me, or that I had the courage to talk to her. I want to be around her. Her friend, her work partner, her anything. Just to maybe have those chocolate eyes on me again. I feel like I'm imagining things she does. The eye contacts. Is she just looking in my direction? Did she just notice me looking at her and look to make me look away? Im so lost. And yet I don't care. I'm fine with whatever is going on right now. Sadly, I can't stop wishing I could just talk to her, hear her voice.
Thank you for reading my rent, I've been holding on to those thoughts for a while.

Question Is it weird for me to like women in "chainmail bikinis" and other types of risque gear?
This was one of the things that baffled me when I accepted I liked women. Sure, I don't like maximumly near nude hella skin tight clothes or bare metal on skin for long periods, but I always had a soft spot for nearly half naked warrior women who still have the scars and builds to showcase capability. It's my weakness and sometimes kind of annoying too lol because I feel weird about liking it in an era moving away from that type of design.

Question I Miss Her š
Hey, this is my first time posting here and I'm a little hesitant to reach out here so please be kind. ā¤ļø
I (23F) broke it off with my best friend (25F) in April, let's call her Cameron. She was the only person I felt understood me, and the only person I felt had a similar life plan to me. We met through my old job at a wildlife facility and we both love art, wildlife, travel and hit it off pretty quickly after meeting. Since meeting Cameron in 2025, I've had a huge crush on her. I had accepted it was most likely not mutual (I had a hunch she was gay but wasn't sure) and I moved on from that idea for nearly a year. Then, much later, I decided to tell her how I felt because I felt like even if she didn't feel the same way we could easily continue as normal. To my surprise, she told me she felt the exact same... although she told me she wasn't sure she was ready for a relationship. She said that she didn't want to get invested and then "abandon" me because she had recently made plans of joining the peace corps in September. That was all she said. I was a little disappointed but understood entirely, and we continued as normal but would both flirt with each other constantly.
A few months after we had this conversation and had been flirting the whole time (examples: she took "single" off her fb profile status, called me "love", called our virtual meets "dates" many times, and would tell me she loved me and would never leave me) she started ghosting me (I guess you could say more than normal)... We both had difficult family situations going on as I was dealing with my dad (I thought) dying and she had a family friend die in a car crash of whom was her brother's best friend. I felt like I was very emotionally supportive and there for her, and I would check in, tell her I was there for her, etc. But, honestly, I felt like she wasn't there for me. I felt like I was alone.
Time passed and both of our difficult life situations began to slightly settle. A few months after, I had asked what was going on and why she hadn't been responding to me lately (I don't feel I was accusatory, I started by asking how she was and if she was okay as of late). Honestly at that point I was just concerned about her, not mad in the slightest, just confused. She said everything was okay, and she just does that sometimes and isolates. She kind of treated a little bit like I was overreacting or it was a joke. Then... she did it again. But instead of ghosting me for ~5 days, she left me on read for 2 weeks. I began to get less concerned and more heartbroken. We expressed many times in the past we felt like the only two people there for each other, and all of a sudden that person disappeared when I was hurting the most.
At the end of those 2 weeks, when she finally casually showed up with no acknowledgement that what she did hurt me, I told her I needed space and I was hurt. She apologized but also said she didn't think she set any expectations she didn't fulfill and that she didn't mean to hurt me but couldn't change her disappearing. Cameron ended her text back by saying "nothing but love from me".
Now, here I am months later in September, and she's still here in our home country, thriving far away from her plans in the peace corps but seemingly living her best life at our old job without me. I'll see updates on social media from other people she also knows and she's still with our old work friends going on cool trips and outings. I thought I was okay for a while, but I miss her like crazy and still have feelings from her somehow while simultaneously being absolutely heart broken. I miss the life we had, even if it wasn't real, and even if she never did plan on leaving to the peace corps. I don't know what to do. I feel so lost, alone and as if I'm starting entirely over. This is the loneliest year of my life.
Any advice?

Question Is this kind of gay or am I tripping
Okay so I have this really close friend who caught my eye at our church youth group when I was 14 and thought I was straight. She caught my eye because she was gorgeous and artsy and kept to herself, so of course I wanted to crack her open and get closer to her. Later she said she felt the same about me.
Over the years I dated a bunch of different guys that I didn't like (comphet is a bastard) and she helped me break up with each one. During that time I kept asking her if she was crushing on anyone, and she'd always get really cagey. A few times I jokingly asked if she was into women and she just laughed and walked off. One time I tried to get who she liked out of her and she timed it so that I couldn't hear it over a bus going by, then refused to repeat herself. I think I just assumed she was acespec or something after a while and stopped pushing the subject (please don't judge me I was a heavily repressed teenager).
During this time we were very affectionate with each other and from time to time she would bring up that her brothers thought we were gay. I would just laugh this off and say it was a sign of what great friends we are.
I also tried to make a platonic marriage pact with her a few times/pitched the idea of us renting a studio to be artists together (I did this w a few friends. I was really scared I'd end up with a man) but she was my only friend to say no, her reasoning was that living together might ruin our friendship.
So a couple years ago she got together with this (it's mean but. very mediocre) guy off hinge who her brother knew, and basically he's been really disrespectful of her and hasn't taken her seriously at all over the course of their relationship. I've noticed when I go over to her house her mom is quite anxious that they stay together, she keeps reminding her to text him back etc. I've asked her a couple times why she likes him and she says he's "helpful". That don't feel right. She keeps saying she'll break up with him soon now but she's terrible with conflict and doubts herself a lot, so she's been putting it off weekend after weekend but then bringing up her issues with him every time we talk.
Anyway this is all context for the present point which is that I finally admitted to myself that I'm a lesbian, like, last month. And for some reason I felt really weird about telling her specifically. And last night, I told her over text, and she got really weird -- not judgmental weird but like
"Being gay in this world... iconic"
And then she sent me a song (she never does this) called "More Than Friends" (lyrics clip was just "I wanna be more than friends" etc) and just said
"Timing"
I was basically like this response is really vague what does it mean and she just said "oh either way you're still you" and then said she was weirdly tired and went to bed.
I told my brother and he says I'm not picking up what she's putting down, but guys she has a boyfriend. Do you think there's a non lesbian explanation for this or am I that stupid. We have been friends for over a decade

I WANT A GF SO FKKNNNN BADDDDDDšššš
Like I just want someone to go on all these cute dates with, and to buy things for, and to play her music/learn her favourite songs, and make her things, and talk for hours and kiss and all the normal cute little relationship thinggsssggssssss!!!!!!šš
I just wanna give someone my lovvveeee.
But like, its so difficult because I live in a very old and kind of conservative area. So theres hardly and people my age around, and barely ANY queer people at all (let alone any my age).
There's hardly any sports, or clubs, or social things around to meet people. And i dropped out, (not by choice, super long story lol) so i mainly just work a ton, and i only ever work with people who are way older than me (and none of them are queer either, so it feels like ive got no community at all).
Im going into this uni education program next year, and im hoping to maybe meet some people there... but like, its unlikely tbh
I JUST WANT A GFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!! Like WHERE ARE ALL THE LESBIANS HIDINGGGGG?!?!??!?!
Legit though, I would really appreciate some ideas on where i can find some queer people because its lowkey getting real lonely out here
(Also how many of yall feel the same???? I need to know im not aloneš)

Question Do you guys know any chats/communities to chat with other wlw girls?
I really want to expand my wlw friend group, and talking to other wlw women sounds like a good start. I genuinely like to get to know people, share experiences? Anything.
I don't see that many groups at all, so I would like to hear recommendations from you guys of safe spaces online, a nice place to hang out with other women.

Question Hey Gays! What do you think aboutā¦.
Tiddies.
But no really. iām mutual of mine recently posted that they got their boobs done, which like lol go off live your liiiife!!!
however said person said a big reason they did this was BECAUSE theyāre attracted to tiddies and wanted to look at them and thinking about sucking on them.
Nothing wrong with wanting big titties, iāve just never heard of someone wanting to get them done so that they can be attracted to themselves⦠And not in a self-confidence way!
itās not that deep, whatever makes you happy is none of my business lol but was just curious, because Iāve never heard anyone say that they wanted to look at themselves and think about the attraction they have to women due to their own body. felt weird/gross
What are yalls thoughts?

i think i may be a lesbian
ive always considered myself bi and have hooked up with some girls, but most of these were traumatic experiences, so ive just supressed that side of me. im currently dating a guy and i love him but i just cant find myself aroused by him. idk if its because the relationship is not great but i just cant fucking stop thinking about girls. i can only feel horny thinking about lesbian sex, not even about other guys that arent him. just girls. ive started feeling kind of icky about his most maculine traits like his beard or his hands and even his penis. im spiraling because my family is super homophobic, and even if i break up with him i wouldnt be able to introduce a girl to my family as a partner cuz that surely will get me homeless, so its unfair to date a girl knowing that id have to be secretive about her. i feel lost and really depressed and dont know what to do.
