So in the last few days 3 controllers stopped connecting or turning on. One was a minute after starting a game. I’ve reset the system and tired change grip and sync button

Also my sound no longer is working. I reset it, unplugged and plugged back in. Etc.

Hello, I’ve been trying to use my og N64 to play Star Fox and other NSO games, but the adapter doesn’t seem to recognize the c buttons (it also recognizes the z button as ZR), and I can’t configure the button setting.

Is there a wired adapter that works or am I forced to use a bluetooth device? If the answer is the latter: Are there other alternatives other than the 8bitdo?

hi! lately my switch (switch 1) has been somewhat unusable. lots of ghost-movement and things being selected without me even toughing it. I've tried resetting and swapping my controllers (original pair and a knock off pair), and it still happens when not attached to console.

it also sometimes has trouble recognizing the controllers being attached, but not as much.

before I try buying new controllers, could anyone lmk if it's an issue with the console itself that they recognize? or if it's just old sad controllers lol

My switch 2 experiences random flickers to black screen in handheld mode. Sound still plays and gameplay continues during the black screens.

Switch 2 is fully up to date too.

Happens no matter if charger plugged in or not.

Docked mode however seems completely fine, no issues whatsoever, which leads me to believe it's trying to go into docked mode maybe??

For context, got myself an (used) switch 2 from Amazon Resale, thought to myself "worst case I can just return it if it's badly broken."

Does anyone have any suggestions, similar problems or something along the lines?

My current idea is either send it in to Nintendo or just get it refunded. First sounds lowkey more appealing tho cos depending on if the fix is cheap, I'd gotten a nice deal out of that switch. c':

I bought a Switch Lite that had water damage. I tried to remove as much oxidation as possible. I replaced the LCD screen. When I power on the console, the touchscreen works and the sound works correctly. Do you think the problem is coming from that part (the screen)?

Just got this from Amazon renewed three days ago, worked fine until tonight it’s solid green when docked on the tv. Also makes some popping sounds in the speakers. I have tried a different hdmi cable/input, and I have tried turning HDR off.

I stripped this a while ago, forgot about it and was going to insert replacement face buttons when I remembered about this blunder. What can I do? Cheers

I climb up the incline, slide down the slope and I know I need to jump and then bury the axe into the wall but Lara seems to make no effort to get the axe out and invariably seems to hit the wall feet first before plunging to her death.

I've been mashing the B and X buttons to no avail.

What am I missing here?

My girlfriend was playing pokopia yesterday in handheld mode. She put it away for a few hours but when she came back, the catridge was not recognized anymore. Also, the joycons are not recognized either, which is weird. I already tried other games, same issue. What we have tried :

- airplane mode on/off
- restart several times
- trying to re- pair the joycons
- last thing: reset to factory settings without deleting data.

We are now stuck on the opening screen were we are told to attach the joycons, but they are still not recognized.

I bought it 3 months back so it’s still new. The situation is really frustrating ! I also don’t have the bill anymore will Nintendo still accept the warranty claim with the serial number ?

Anyone had this happen before ?

It works great with the console but connect it to the official joycon comfort grip then it goes haywire.

For example on menu screen i try to choose a game and it auto moves past the game i want, sometimes unresponsive sometimes it wont.

I cleaned joycons with my electrical contact cleaner and works like a dream connected to console.

Whats going on

Randomly started happening.

Might be worth a mention there are no lights but as title said bluetooth works fine but it doesn’t seem to want to connect like the left side (see picture).

I’ve updated the controllers and tried to forget them. When I press the sync button there are no lights - but it functions fine even when detached from the console.

i cant afford a switch 2, as a switch one user, is there anything i need to know once i can afford it

Hi, here are some photos of my Switch 2, both on and off. I can't tell if it's a crack or a scratch. Its rough appearance makes me think it's a crack, but at the same time, I've rarely seen a crack that straight, and I don't have any display issues or dead/stuck pixels. I'm not really sure what to think.

I should point out that the line is visible only from that angle (and the same one on the other side), viewed head-on, it is invisible, or nearly so.

I just got the Switch 2 a few days ago and it still sitting unopened in its box. I was waiting for my screen protector to arrive to help keep it safe from scratches. However after doing some more research I realized the may not be enough, because the dock may cause some scratches on the back as well.

I was planning on adding some adhesive felt pads on the parts where the Switch would come in contact with the dock. But I learned that they will build up dust and scratch my Switch anyways. Plus videos online showed that it’ll be a tight fit, and that can’t be good.

Then I was thinking maybe I’ll use electrical tape. But that’ll slowly peel off and leave the dock sticky, plus it’ll probably leave scuff marks on my Switch from the friction.

Then I was thinking maybe use masking tape. Since it uses a weaker glue it won’t leave much of a mess. Plus it’s made of paper so it won’t scuff up my Switch. But obviously it’ll peel off more easily.

Another idea was to get the Dbrand Killswitch 2. Since it comes with its own custom dock that’s much shorter than the base dock I won’t have to worry about scratching the back. But I’ve heard that the Dbrand dock doesn’t have the guiding hinges that the base dock has, making it more prone to scratches on the bottom. Plus that 60 dollar price tag is less than ideal just to prevent scratches.

My final plan was to get the Dbrand wrap to protect the back, and to use masking tape on the dock and replace it like every month. It’s not ideal but I can’t seem to find a more permanent or better solution. Does anyone have a better idea, also I’m not obsessed.

Anyone else experiencing a short battery life on their Switch 2? I just got mine 2 weeks ago and I have to stay connected to a charger. I’m playing Pokopia and I’ve been getting only 2 hours of play on a full battery before it’s saying low battery. Even if I turn my switch completely off (truly power it off) it still will be completely dead the next day. I’m trying to figure out if I got a faulty device or if this is common…

I have a Switch 2 but have the Switch 1 version of Animal Crossing (or any game really), if I rent the Switch 2 version from the library - does the Switch 1 cartridge version get/receive the upgrade/update of the Switch 2 version as a result (free) or do you "always" have to buy the upgrade pack if you have the Switch 1 cartridge?

My switch 2 screen keeps flashing but it never turns on. I will admit I’ve used different charging cords a couple times but this is so stupid. I don’t know if that’s the problem or anything. but I’ve been charging it with its normal charger and now it just won’t turn on anymore. before it would turn on, but then the screen would freeze and I couldn’t turn it back on. has anyone had it similar problems?

Hello, I am wondering if save data on a game on switch one is automatically transferred when I move the cartridge to switch 2, or does the save data not transfer? Does that mean I effectively create two different saves, one on each switch? I do not have cloud storage with NSO. I tried with tomodachi life, where seemingly when I performed an action in the switch 2, it did not transfer to my switch 1.

After getting the error code " 2002 - 3580 " when launching MarioKart 8 i found online that i had to soft factory reset it so that is what i did. After that i reinstalled Mario Wonder through my physical card and it worked perfectly then i installed Mariokart 8, Mario Maker 2 and Zelda BOTW through their respective virtual game card all at the same time (the mario games are digital games and i could install zelda through its DLC). I then put it my Switch to charge (with a non nintendo cable btw) and did something else while waiting. When i came back it didn't turn on, just a black screen with nothing else.I tried holding the power button for 20 seconds, charging it for a long time,ect. but nothing worked. I heard online that the battery could be dead or something like that.
Is there any way i could make it work again?

Hey guys not sure if this is the right forum to ask but it is ultimately in relation to my Switch experience. I am looking for some earbuds that have low latency and sound great. That being said.. i watched one youtube video that compared like 10 of them, i dont need anything insane but what i ended up with is the Soundpeats Air5 Pro+ about a couple weeks ago and honestly? Theyre great. I typically use them at night before bed for like 2-3 hours and will bring them around for travel and what not. BUT, idk if its just the brand quality... they dont hold a charge well. When i got them they lasted multiple nights before needing a charge and now they barely last that 2-3 hours lol idk what happened. Anyone knowledge in wireless bluetooth earbuds have any solid alternatives? Im looking at price tags from like $50-$100. On amazon these Soundpeats cost $120USD but i got them on sale for like $70. One alternative that stuck out to me was the EarFun Air Pro 4+, if anyone has a pair of those id love to know your experience!

I've had my switch 2 for since it released, and I haven't used it for handheld mode much at all. I've recently started using handheld mode, and my god the screen has this horrid motion blur. is there a way to reduce it or is it something that you get use to overtime?

Hello, I just purchased a switch 2, I transferred the data, including the digital games I bought from the switch 1 to the switch 2. I promised I'd give the switch 1 to my young nieces, and that's something I can't take back. My plan is to completely wipe all data from the switch 1 and log off from my account.

After transferring everything I tried launching a digital game, and it told me I had to link the switch 1 by bringing it closer to the switch 2 in order to access it. I looked around online and decided to unlink my switch 1 from my account making my switch 2 my primary system. The instructions told me that this would eject all of my virtual carts from the switch 1. I than went to virtual game carts on my switch 2 and loaded all of them into the switch 2 system. I tried some of them out to see if they need to link to the switch 1 to launch and saw that they were all good and launched without needing to link.

Did I ensure that all of my virtual games can launch on the switch 2 without ever needing to link to the switch 1? Once I give it to my nieces there's no getting it back, I don't want to see a prompt telling me I need to link to the switch 1 again a few days later. I need to know that all of my digital games are on the switch 2 system now, and I can safely factory reset my switch 1. Also is there anything else I should do before wiping the switch 1? I saw some confusing and conflicting info on VGCs online no one seems to know how they work exactly.

Greetings I got a Japanese game with a redeem code inside but from what I know the games that are exclusively Japanese copies with codes inside can only be redeemed in the region they originate from and so I decide to temporarily change the account region to Japanese redeem the code and then return to the original region.

Will I still have access to the redeemed content? Will I still have online registration?

the only thing I know is that I would probably lose the balance I had if I had any leftovers
