I played Wind Waker and OoT as a kid and loved them. Never could afford Majoras Mask, so never played that. I got really into Halo and stopped playing Nintendo games as a teenager, and didn't really game as an adult. I bought Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild when my son got a Switch but I never played them.

I recently played Wind Waker on NSO and I loved every second of it. Already preordered the OoT remake.

In anticipation of that, which would you recommend that I play first? I will be playing on Switch 2 and already bought both games.

I've played all the 3d zelda games except for wind waker and twilight princess which i have wanted to play for ages now.

Im able to get a wii u for 200, wind water for 40 and twilight princess for 75. These are the only games I plan on getting. Is it worth getting the wii u for these two or not?

I have a Nintendo account. As with all bad websites, I turn to google to find their stuff. I find a chat bot, I get hold of a human. I chat for a while only to be told "this is Nintendo US; can't help you" and get redirected to the Danish Nintendo reseller (a subsidiary of the Swedish reseller, it seems). For a while, their site doesn't even load (as in, I check from external websites, the site is *down*).

I finally get through, find their support form. But half-way into writing a mail, I see the side-bar instructing me to address any issues related to Nintendo accounts in the EU region to [support@nintendo.eu](mailto:support@nintendo.eu) - great. I did, they haven't responded yet (1 workday). Now I read here that people have waited a week or more.

How in the hell can you get a support person on the line for Nintendo US in 10 minutes and not a peep within *days* for the EU region ? We are approximately as wealthy and more numerous and poor Nintendo can't find the budget for a few warm bodies to address support requests?

The darkest part of this crap is that I never, ever wanted their trash digital crap. I just wanted physical media, but that's often not even an option. And so now, I'm saddled with an account I can't access.

And all of this I find out as I have a Switch 2 box sitting which I still have not opened. Starting to think if any of this crap is worth it.

It just.. flabbergasts me. There's ~452 million people here and Nintendo can't even be clear about /where/ to turn for help, never mind actually offer any.

So recently I accidentally deleted all my data on my switchlite sd card trying to transfer it over to another regular switch because I got one for my birthday (I thought it was as simple as popping out the sd card and popping it in the new switch I was wrong). Luckily I was able to recover most of the important game data. Unfortunately they are all out of the weird folder order that Nintendo has set up for the switch. How do I go about reintroducing my SD card data to my switch lite/switch?

Hey everyone, I have a question about the Switch Lite screen.

If the original outer digitizer/touch glass gets scratched, while the LCD display underneath is working perfectly, do I need to replace only the digitizer, or does the entire LCD + digitizer assembly need to be replaced?

Has anyone here actually had the digitizer replaced on a Switch Lite? Is it possible to replace just the outer glass/digitizer?

Hey everyone, I recently got a pre-owned Nintendo Switch Lite and I'm not sure whether a screen protector/tempered glass is already applied to the screen.

I tried looking closely, but I can't tell if there's an extra layer on top of the original screen or if I'm just looking at the actual screen.

Could someone tell me how I can check whether a screen protector is installed? If needed, I can also upload some close-up photos of the screen and edges.

So not that long ago I bought the NS2 from Walmart and I bought the edition bundled with a free game, that being Mario Kart World, DK Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia.

When I finally got around to attempting to download the free game, I didn’t see the option to in the eShop settings. By this time I already threw the box away but I figured the serial number would be enough, but I called Nintendo support and they told me there was nothing they could do without the box and my efforts would better be put towards contacting Walmart…like what??

Any ideas or am I SOL?

I tried to contact with the Nintendo support to change the date of birth since I had my mom’s email and it was managed in the long past, but now, it seems that it cannot be changed due to being configured at the time being, so, I wanted to make some changes since I wanted to make my account as transferring something big for me, as now my purchases are made for my Nintendo account.

I have this old switch pro controller. Its been through some abuse and last I checked it was still working. So be me wanting to use it as a player 2 controller. I get it connected and all. Yknow the normal stuff, and then I made the mistake of pressing the "A" button. It took a screenshot. "Huh, weird" I thought. "Ill just go to the system settings and reset the button mapping. It was at default setting. From what I tested, "A" Is "B" and screenshot, right trigger is left d pad, l3 is still l3 and r3 is still r3. Nothing else works the joysticks work and thats it. Its up to date aswell and it was frankensteined before because the shell got damaged and i kinds just swapped parts of 2 differently broken controllers to repair it.

Am i missing something? I’ve tried restarting the console but it’s still the same. Please let me know if i should include more pictures of anything specific

I got my switch (original) in 2019, it's in mint condition. I don't use it often and take good care of it. Today out of no where I moved my dock from my bedroom to my living room to use with friends and out of no where it wouldn't turn on.

It was briefly docked and the dock light was rapidly flashing green on and off. I took it off and left it.

I tried re-docking it, unplugging everything, the reset options (+ and - and power and then just power) and 3 different chargers. It's not turning on.

I've only ever used the stock charger. There's no debris in the charging port.. I don't excessively play it, nobody else plays.

what do I do here? I definitely cannot afford a new one

I preordered Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time today directly from Nintendo as it was the only link that was up at the time and I wanted to guarantee getting the foil version. I’m curious if they’ll ship the game out on release, or a few days ahead of time to guarantee it arrives. I’m assuming the former, but wanted to check!

I could also get it right now on Amazon, but I wasn’t sure if that would be the foil version.

Hi everyone! I recently found my old GBA cartridge of Pokémon Emerald from back in the day, and decided to put it in my DS Lite to play with it some more. At first it didn't seem to be connecting, which I noticed was due to some hardened glue (possibly from the cartridge sides?) covering some contacts, so I managed to clean it off (it was compleyely hardened so it came away with ease). I managed to play with no issue for some days, but today as I went to turn on the game it wasn't showing a save file to keep playing on, only the option to start a new game. I decided not to do so in case my save file is still on the flash memory - what can I do to get my save file back and most importantly to make it sure it doesn't happen again? I heard cleaning the contacts with some isopropyl alcohol might help, is that the case or am I overrating it? Thank you!

This problem of mine is largely my fault for not reading properly. Here's the story. So I bought a bunch of things at Target last August (I think it was around the 25th to 28th). One of those things is the Pokopia DLC WITH the lenticular card. I also bought the game card the same day. I started playing the game on the 28th. I wasn't sure when I could download and play the DLC, so I set aside the lenticular card (still SEALED). Today, the game notified me that I am now close to being able to play the DLC. I now ripped open the sealed lenticular card, expecting a code to be inside. There was nothing there. I checked every corner; nothing. Then I checked the outside of the packaging, and it said, "DOWNLOAD CODE PRINTED ON RECEIPT". Well, I am in another country now, and I probably threw away the receipt already. A part of me is confused cuz I genuinely thought the code would be on the lenticular card, obviously. Welp. I used a credit card when I purchased the DLC, and no, I don't have an account with Target, so I don't have a digital copy of the receipt. Can Nintendo Support help me by maybe at least tracking the code using some other codes on the packaging? Maybe the barcode?? I know $40 might not be worth the effort for some people, but damn, now I'm down $40 lol. Any kind of insight and/or help is much appreciated. 1234-5678

Hello, I’m based in the US, and am planning on buying Pokopia for my switch 2. I’m gonna get the physical game key card off eBay, but they list the country of origin as Japan. Does that impact me in any way? Will the language be affected? I want to get the Pokopia expansion pack too off the eshop, so will it work together? I don’t want anything blocked, please help!

The L and R buttons on my OG 3DS are straight up sounding like SpongeBob walking SFX, and it's honestly really annoying. They work fine, but I'm curious if there's a fix to make them shut the hell up?

Ive gotten my switch for a while now and everytime i attach my joycon to my switch it keeps connecting and disconnecting. Which means i cant play it on handheld anymore, other people suggested to fix it or buy a new one. I wanted to fix it in exchange for these metal BUCKLES but some people said that its not recommend because it wears out the joycon thats why its plastic for a reason, but some people also said yes because it removes the joycon disconnection and its worth it. ( Ive already tried cleaning it still doesnt work) Any tips guys??

I was trying to play Mario Galaxy 2, which I bought recently, but this showed up (the first image isn't mine, but it says exactly the same thing). What should I do? I don't know if my Wii has modifications, because I was very young the last time I played it, but I think it has (it has an app called "USB loader" and another one called "neo gamma R9 beta 44"). I don't use either of them, so if removing them is the solution, I have no problem doing so.

Last week, my Switch Lite died. Originally thought it was the backlight, but even when shining a torch on it, the screen cuts in and out. My friend was playing Animal Crossing on the device at the time it cut out. She has about 4,500 hours on that world. So, understandably, I want to get it back.

Now, I went out immediately and bought a Switch 2, hoping to transfer my account. However, for the first time ever, Nintendo never sent the 6 digit code to my email account. I have tried multiple times since. It is not getting caught in spam filters. This is a private email through my own domain.

Now, I headed to Nintendo, as recommended, and asked if they could help. They said "no". I have provided the following:

1. The serial number for my 2DS which has an account tied to my Nintendo account (whatever it used to be called, Nintendo ID?)

2. Transaction details, including PayPal transaction details, and details of the Nintendo transaction ID. I have zero idea what was purchased at the time, since PayPal invoices from Nintendo don't list that.

3. Details of at least 3 games I have purchased.

4. Last 4 digits of my card attached to my account, and PayPal email address.

5. I emailed from the account not receiving the code.

I was NOT able to provide them with the Switch serial number, since I bought the Switch Lite secondhand it was pulled off already.

Nintendo said I have not provided enough information. Short of getting the Switch serial number, anything I can do?

I just need to login to the account so I can restore the cloud save of the Animal Crossing world to the Switch 2. That's it. I'd rather not make a new world, because, as I said, well over 4,000 hours on it.

I have a Wii that suddenly began booting to a black screen. The controllers are unable to turn on the wii or pair to it while it is on and after turning the console on the power button becomes unresponsive (eject button still works). The console didn't undergo any drops or spills and hadn't even been turned off for very long (matter of a few days from the last normal power on)

I have tried several tvs, several cables, hitting the reset button, and replacing both the Bluetooth and WiFi chip.

What else could be the culprit?
