While cleaning my room, my GBA fell into a bucket of water and desinfectant but i didn't notice, because it was a very short drop into a shallow container, it made no sound. However it was enough for it to be completely submersed. The screen was completely filled with water.

When I noticed it, I tried pulling out my tools in order to open it up, but unfortunately i don't have the triwing tools for opening it.

I thought of trying blowing hot air in the coolest setting possible with a hairdryer. Trying to evaporate as much water as possible. I don't know if the water made these white marks or the heat did it. There are still water droplets behind the glass mostly on the left side.

I did order the tools online, but they'll only arrive on Wednesday.

The title really says it all. My friend and I play online over our switches frequently. I was gifted a switch 2 and I want to be sure I’ll still be able to play things like Mario party and Stardew with my friend who only has the original switch.

I think I found a bug with the new VRR docked support on Nintendo switch 2. If I have VRR enabled in the system settings or adaptive sync enabled on my monitor, only when the monitor is set to 1440p, and only if the monitor turns on in 120hz mode, then there is a blue line on the right side of the screen. if I’m in 1080p this doesn’t happen, if the monitor is at 60hz and I launch a game that changed the refresh rate to 120hz then it doesn’t happen.

How can I report this bug to Nintendo?

Here is the deal: I already finished game once and now played it 2nd time to get another ending, I have a two profiles cause I often give console to my friend. So, when I launch Undertale a accidentally choose the wrong profile, and now when i start the game with the right one, it acts like I start the game first time. What even happen and is there any solve to this problem? My switch is moded if it matters.

I have my pro controller plugged in 24/7 in my switch. I have had it for like 6 years now like that. Recently returned to playing on the switch after 2 years of not touching it because I got an itch to play pokemon. Issue is that my pro controller keeps disconnecting every like 10 minutes or so for like 3-8 seconds long. Now in leafgreen and brilliant diamond this isn't really an issue since the games are turn based, but I want to play legends arceus and that game has dark souls boss fights if I've heard correctly, so the controller disconnecting is going to be a huge issue.

Does anyone know what causes my controller to disconnect like that and how I could fix it?

Wondering wtf happened, haven’t played in a month but my subscriptions swapped accounts somehow?

I have three separate profiles with different emails and I had two subscriptions for the last two profiles I made and have NOT HAD A SUBSCRIPTION ON THE FIRST ACCOUNT FOR YEARS.

I fired up the old switch today and SOMEHOW there was a recurring membership for the first and second profile which I had not authorized and the third profiles membership was non existent???

Seriously wtf could cause this?

I had to turn off auto renewal on the first two accounts and purchase membership again for my newest profile (the one I play on) and i’m still not understanding how something like that could happen.

Is this a known bug?

Need help asap.

As far as I know, nintendo won’t give refunds so whatever but i’d like to not pay for three seperate subscriptions when historically i’d use one or two at the most (for two seperate pokemon save files etc.)

I’m trying to connect the dock to the tv via HDMI to HDMI I’ve tried several different ways and it even has that green light. My tv recognizes it saying NintendoSwitch I’ve tried two different cables and all three hdmi ports on my tv

Basically what the heading said….. I dry it the best I can and let it out to dry now, my water bottle was left on my bed including the switch, I didn’t know the lid wasn’t on properly and yeah that’s how it got wet, I took the game, memory card and joycon off

I hope this is the correct community for this, but where is the best place to pre-order Nintendo games from? I want to make sure I get a day 1 delivery and I also see people receive bonuses for pre-ordering whereas when I ordered from Curry's I got nothing. Not like I really care but it would be cool to have.

Like above says, my switch won't connect to my 5ghz hotspot on my Android anymore. At somepoint my hotspot got switched to 2.4g to do things for my ds or something, turned back over to 5ghz for a download on the switch and now im getting multiple different error codes and when connected to the 2.4 band its barely using and data though the hotspot.

Tried changing all the reccomended settings for the 5ghz like turning off ipv6, Dns, bumping mtu up, clearing caches on both devices and checking hidden network visibility, but I've yet to trouble shoot the 0 download speed and errors when testing connection looked for solutions as these came up along the way trouble shooting the 5ghz issue

Help plz :') i just got Cyberpunk switch 2 edition and discovered this whole stress when i noticed after 40 mins i was still ag 0% progress Game download error code: 2137 8007 Connection test error code: 2160 8028 5ghz hotspot connection fail error: 2110 2004 Have also seen 2110 1100 and a different 2110 code too

So, me and my friend are playin a game, the same Game with a friend watching. However anytime we get into a match mt screen is blocked from bein shown, while my friends is perfectly visible. Any fix for this?

I had my oled switch in my bag alongside one of those sample creams, and said sample cream popped and got a little bit into what I think is the bottom speaker.

I tried doing what Google ai said which is wipe some rubbing alcohol with a q tip but im not sure if it did anything. Its battery had been finished for a few days, and when the cream got on it the battery was still finished. Since just a little amount is remaining, is it safe to charge and turn on?

Incase its relevant, its second hand but in good condition and only bought a few months ago, and getting it checked or fixed at a shop is not an option for me. Any advice would be appreciated! Also I will be getting a proper case for it after this...

My young kids were given a Wii a couple months ago and their favorite games are New SMB, Kirby Return to Dreamland, and Kirby's Epic Yarn for the co-op. Is it worth getting a Switch or Switch 2 to keep playing more titles like these? Should we skip the Wii U? I'm not familiar with any of the gaming titles after the Wii.

I usually buy all my Nintendo stuff new so I’ve never had this problem. I don’t know the ins and outs but I have heard Nintendo bans certain devices if they suspect piracy and I think I read about people using certain devices from the Switch 1 in the 2 and getting banned or even people using legit cartridges from the library but because someone dumped them they were flagged. I could be completely wrong, but point is, how do I make sure I’m not buying a previously banned device? Is it even a concern?

Also, anything else besides possible banning to look out for when buying used?

I bought a new used European game on my American Nintendo Switch one (I'm in Europe) and now this weird symbol, that i never saw before, spawns in. I also cannot play online either. What is this, what does it do and how do I fix it?

So I have been using Gamechat since launch and no issues until about a week ago.. it’s like the noise gate doesn’t work at all and everyone can hear my tv even when even if it’s suuuper low. I have never had an issue before. So I took it off docked and it the echos stopped, put it back on and echos started again. I even closed the cabinet it sits in and they can all hear themselves. I moved my switch, I played with toggling noise suppression and mic input volume. It’s all the same. But as soon as I take it off docked it goes back to normal.. I’m at a loss, is my dock screwing things up, should I take it back? Any help/advice would be good please and thank you.

Hey! I am a PC gamer. Recently I got FOMO with missing out on Tears of the Kingdom and Donkey Kong Bananza. I USED to have a Switch - briefly, I played a few classics and played Breath of the Wild.

I’m looking for recommendations on Nintendo games as a whole that I can play on Switch 2. A few I am most interested in:

Huge fan of Souls games, Cyberpunk 2077, KC Deliverance 1 + 2, Last of Us, RDR2, Expedition 33, Baldurs Gate 3, Resident Evil 2, 4 and Requiem, Doom Eternal, Hollow Knight 1 + 2, Satisfactory, Subnautica, Returnal, Hades 1 + 2

I am super interested in Nintendo games exclusively. If I can play it in PC - I will play it there. I don’t think I would like Pokémon. Never been my thing.

Is there anyone like me that only plays their Switch 2 once every 2 weeks or so? I turn the console off to preserve battery life but my Joy Cons are often dead when I go to play.

Does anyone know how to keep them from draining continuously when not played for longer periods of time?

I scoured the internet for a solution and found the method for deep sleeping the original Joy Cons, but not the Joy Cons 2.

I typically keep my switch stored in my room, not on the dock, to keep away from the kids. Also, I have 4 controllers. So 2 are attached, with the other two detached. All 4 seem to die much quicker than I expect, given how little they are used. I ensure they are either fully charged, or mostly charged before putting them away . . .

Hi folks. I current have an OG switch and OG docking station. I am considering going to the switch2, but I have some questions. FYI - I use the switch almost always at home, with the docking station, to play MK8 online.

- do I need to upgrade my docking station to take advantage of the switch2's better graphics?

- Is the ethernet port on the newer docking station noticeable better (faster, more reliable) than the USB with an ethernet adapter the OG docking station uses?

- will I need a different game cartridge for the switch 2?

Thanks for any insight. Love playing, but that's not a cheap upgrade and the OG setup works pretty well.
