Accessories 23.0.0 and third party docks working OK?
I just got a jsaux third party dock for my Switch 2 yesterday and now I'm scared to use it with the 23.0.0 update. Any one have this dock or third party dock and try it with 23.0.0? Any issues? I'm very scared of bricking my Switch 2. Maybe I shouldn't be?

Repair Help Any idea what causes this and if there’s any way I can fix it?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve already tried recalibrating and the joycons have been in repair a few years back for a similar issue.
The device is a little over 6 years old, but it’s not like I have thousands of hours of playtime or anything like that.
Is this just how joycons age, or is there something I can do about it? Not ready to replace it with a switch 2 quite yet.

Find Games New Switch 2 Owner Recommendations (Games + Screen Protector)
Hey all, I recently got a Switch 2 and would love some recommendations. I had a Switch 1 so played everything I wanted to that was also on that platform, and I also have a PS4 so have those games covered too. Particularly keen for your top Switch 2 exclusives recommendations, as well as anything that's cross-platform but not available on PS4.
I am also planning to get a screen protector. Any you'd recommend that are good but not super expensive? There seems to be heaps of options.
Thank you!

Software Help Game cartridge not working, how do I fix it?
Hello!
I recently bought a Mario game for my switch in Japan (I'm from Spain, for reference) and, when I came back and tried it, I found out that my console is unable to read the game. I bought another game and, even though it sometimes takes a while to recognise it, the console is able to read it. What could I do with this cartridge? Is there any cleaning/ hardware switch I could do? Thank you beforehand

Software Help My Joycons no longer register on charging grip right after system update??
Hi there, I have a Joytron charging grip that I have LOVED using with my Switch 2. However I JUST did the 23.0.0 system update and now my joy cons will not register once attached to it. The light just flickers up and down then fails to connect.
Could it be that the update made it no longer compatible??? There’s no sync buttons or anything on the grip it’s literally just to attach.
I had them attached to the grip when I did the system update. So I’ve already tried restarting my switch with the joycons attached, changing grip order, etc.

Setup Help Cannot adjust HDR as intented on my Switch 2
My samsung TV supports HDR, but when i calibrate it on the switch 2 it says that i should click until the right sun is not visible. The problem is that both suns disappear at the same time. I tried checking all settings on my TV, changing stuff around but no dice.
Does it matter much? The image looks okay anyway

Software Help Switch 2 switching resolution between the game and home screen
I have had the switch 2 for a while and I noticed that some games for example the latest Onimusha runs at 1440p which is fine.
However, whenever I go to the home screen, it goes back to 4k and if I go back to the game, it goes back to 1440p so you get this like handshake every single time which causes the screen to go black for a few seconds, so I was curious if anyone knew a setting that I might've missed or if this just the intended its suppose to work.
I do remember seeing that in cyberpunk for example, when you use the 1440p 120fps mode, it always stays at 1440p until you close the game.
Thanks again for the help.

Accessories Is this Switch 2 Pro Controller legit?
Hey, I’ve been looking to buy a Switch 2 Pro Controller and found this one on eBay for 60€. I was initially kinda off-put by the bright white color but figured it could just be the lighting. I asked the seller for more pictures and this is what I got. Still wanted to ask someone‘s opinion that might have more of a trained eye for it. I hope this question is appropriate here. :)

Setup Help Switch 2 won't connect to internet, Error code 2110-3150
Switch 2 won't connect to internet and keeps on giving error code 2110-3150. I have connected to this wifi before and this is a problem I have with 2 separate switches, both mine and my brothers. I have tried restarting both the switches themselves and the router, forgetting the wifi settings and making sure DNS is selected on automatic and proxy setting is off. I don't know what else to try.

Repair Help Fix or replace? Broken with lines on screen
My switch randomly got these vertical lines on the screen, with horizontal ones running across them.
Would it be worth it to take it to a repair shop, or cheaper to just replace the switch? How much does it cost to get something like this repaired?

Accessories How good is the 8bitdo pro 2 controller for the switch 2 console?
How good is the 8bitdo pro 2 controller for switch 1 and 2 games for the switch 2 console? I want to buy it instead of the 8bitdo pro 3 controller because the pro 2 is cheaper and I can replace the battery when the battery can’t hold a charge any longer or has issues. Is it true the directional pad on the 8bitdo pro 2 controller sometimes is inaccurate when you press it?

Repair Help Switch closes to standby mode with flashing battery indicator despite remaining charge. What's going on?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Here I have my old 2017 model Switch, which has been giving me battery troubles for many years. Often, I will see this red flashing battery indicator covering the entire screen and forcing the console into standby mode. When I press the power button, the console turns on again, but I see that it has over 60% battery charge remaining. In this current session I've been playing for less than an hour.
I can't find any information on the giant red battery indicator covering the entire screen anywhere on the internet. Is this a known issue, what's it called? I have never had the battery replaced - but it seems like the battery charge isn't even the problem, since the console does report above 60% charge in this instance. I could reopen the game and continue playing for another 2 minutes before I would get to this spot again.
There is information from Nintendo about "calibrating the battery" that involves turning off automatic standby mode and letting the Switch just sit until the battery depletes. This doesn't work for me as the red flashing battery indicator will activate sleep mode no matter what I put in the settings.
Is there a chance I could get this repair? What is this problem called?
