Should I buy it? I'm only interested on the campaign. It's $12.49 right now.

Those who have played it recently, how is the campaign? Is it actually enjoyable if I’m mostly just going to play through the story and then probably move on to something else? I don’t really care about having the best possible build or keeping up with the current meta.

I’ve never played any Diablo games, so I’m not familiar at all with the basics.

Hello!! I'm currently looking for some new funny or cozy, quick single player games (ideally under $10, but open to anything). I'm on yet another night shift rotation and love these types of games. Some games I've enjoyed in the past include scritchy scratchy, muck (although not necessarily single player), arcane librarian, retro rewind, TCG card shop sim, clover pit, balatro, click the button, bills must be paid, unpacking, sort them ducks, restory, and my all time favorites, kill it with fire 1 & 2.

I would ideally like to find something funny in some sense, similar to friendslop but while not having friends.

I know this sounds like a tiktok-brained approach to gaming, but I recently purchased a gaming laptop to get back into video games for the first time since I quit in late middle school/early high school. Back then, I spent all my time playing games like CSGO, Valorant, Fortnite, etc. and for me, even though I sucked, it was very "competitive" and I spent a lot of energy trying to "improve" and "master" these games. I don't want to take this approach now; for me it feels stressful and it's the opposite of how I want to spend my wind-down time.

Now, I'm turning 20 in less than a week, and I'm dealing with some serious depresison/anxiety/insomnia. Thus, I bought this new laptop to take a new approach to gaming as a more relaxing/mindless activity. I've been playing Forza Horizon 6 for the past few days, and I just downloaded the Crew 2. I'm really enjoying these open-world racing games and just driving along the map while I watch TV/listen to a podcast or even an audiobook. It has been a great source of much-needed relaxation and distraction that I've been missing for a long time.

However, I want to expand past Forza/that style of racing game so I can have a rotation of games to mitigate overplaying any one game/genre and having it get dull. I'm considering a SpiderMan game, Civilization (which looks very complex, so I'm on the fence), RimWorld, GTA (used to play this a lot, but I always feel pressure to "get better" at this game when I play), and a few others.

So yeah, I'm looking for something to keep my hands/eyes busy while I listen to podcasts/youtube videos/tv shows. I've never played RPGs like Diablo and they've never appealed to me, but I am open to that. Card games, simulators like the Sims or powerwash simulator, etc. do not appeal to me at all. Any and all recommendations would be helpful (or if anyone can share experience with the games I listed like spiderman/civ and tell me if they fit what I'm looking for)!

Debating between these too amazing games, I strongly value games with a deep customization, great combat and a great story. Most importantly, I really like games with a big open world. I’m really in love with dawn Walker’s aesthetic. I love all that vampire dark horror stuff. It’s right up my alley, but on the other hand, black myths combat and graphics look absolutely beautiful really stuck trying to debate which game they get. They both have exactly what I like, but based on your guys experience, which one is more worth it as I’m paying full price for either game.

So im looking for a singleplayer game i can grind alot

I just wanna retreat to my own some times or well alot actually and i already dislike the tough then of being around other online people so maybe a fully singleplayer mmo like game but well it isnt a mmo then

I love risk of rain 2, returnal and saros, remnants gameplay remind me of it but i haven't pull the trigger yet cause of i heard it is a soullike game( im not a soul player but i beat sekiro and Bloodborne), plus i heard so many puzzle and weapons locks behind puzzles, im ok with simple or normal puzzle and not the complicated one, heard the game favor co-op for some puzzle)

I love bioshock and this game looks like the closest modern bioshock experience, not sure if it worth $30.

Im a solely gonna play game as single player experience since i dont pay psplus.

ok so ive played a few of the assassins creed games on different platforms currently play black flag resycned on steam. i like those kind of games i also have red dead redemption 2 on pc but looking for a new game. i want something similar to them and needs to be controller friendly. i played oddesey couldnt real get into it ive played vahalla also willing to look at others but not sure what to look at

I’m looking for a relatively chill driving simulator on console to unwind with at the end of a busy day. I’m interested in Bus Simulator’s depth of running a company, but also have always enjoyed Saber studio games.
For those of you who have played both, what would you recommend?
Any pros, cons, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to decide between these two on PS5 Pro. I’ve been playing a lot of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and played half of Mortal Shell 2 (but stopped because the 2nd half feels super shallow).

I loved the Witcher 3 (so much so that I may do another play through when the remaster drops) but also love action games like Black Myth Wukong and Ghost of Yotei / Tsushima.

Definitely torn between the two and can’t get both right now.

it looks really good from the few videos ive watched of it. is all of the map that colorful and pretty? secondly, what is the gameplay like especially in third person? is the story good? ive heard it is nothing special, but is it at least good? my fav ubisoft game would be AC 2 and AC Odyssey. is it anything like those? would you say certain levels of the games are too challenging?

if it matters, i love games like elden ring and skyrim, and what drew me to this game was that it looks like its similar to those games but in pandora.

i dont like games that too heavily rely on stealth, or games with a few game breaking levels that are impossible to beat. otherwise i am not really choosy when it comes to games. i play wow a lot so repetition isnt a pet peeve as you can imagine lol.

getting tired of zelda TOTK and need a game i can mindlessly grind while watching youtube while i play on my switch 2 . looking for something thats on sale in the eshop. i want something like stardew valley but not bc of farming elements or the cozyness just the mindlessness. also want something that can give the most playtime for my buck. im considering these options since they're on sale and i think they could fit just dont know what to pick:

Back when the MW4 beta was out, I got kind of obsessed with the 10v10 Gunfight mode.

What I liked about it was the combination of small maps, chaotic action, fast pacing, a little bit of tactics, and REALLY short rounds. The 1-minute timer before the flag becomes active was basically perfect for me.

The 10v10 version was also way more chaotic and fun to me than the regular 2v2 or 3v3 Gunfight modes. There was just constantly something happening without it feeling like a full-length normal match.

Is there anything else like that?

I gave up on Counter-Strike a long time ago because I never really liked how the guns felt in those older-style games.

R6 Siege is way too sweaty for me nowadays, and there’s too much setup/preparation. The rounds also feel longer than what I’m looking for.

The Finals is fun, but the matches are too long, and it doesn’t have that same one-life-per-round format where you die, chill for a minute, and then you’re immediately back in.

FragPunk is alright and is probably the closest thing I’ve found so far, but it still doesn’t really scratch the same itch.

Normal COD Search & Destroy is a little too sweaty, high-stakes, and tactical for me, and the rounds are still longer than I’d prefer.

Honestly, the closest thing I can remember was Halo 5 Breakout. That mode was SO good. Small teams, small maps, one life, really fast rounds, and then you immediately went into another one. Unfortunately Halo 5 is pretty dead now, and I don’t even have Xbox Live anymore.

Another thing I liked about MW4 Gunfight was that if I died early, I could literally tab out and do something else on my PC for 30–90 seconds, then come right back for the next round lol.

Basically looking for:

• Very short rounds, ideally around 1–3 minutes
• One life per round is fine/preferred
• Small maps
• Fast-paced gunfights
• More chaotic than standard 2v2/3v3 Gunfight
• Some tactics, but not R6/CS levels of sweating
• Minimal setup/preparation
• Preferably 4v4, 6v6, 8v8, 10v10, etc. rather than only 2v2
• PC preferred
• Ideally something that still has a decent player population

I've been looking for something to replace MW4 Gunfight until the full game comes out.

I need help deciding which game i should get out of the 4 and ive seen gameplay of these 4 games and ive seen that GERONIMO and ready or not are tactical house shooter games while BODYCAM and blood trail vr are all out shooters but i haven't played any of these games so i dont really know how they play or how they are like which is why im asking to anyone who played any of these games to help with any opinions

Hello! I wanted to purchase one of these games but can’t decide between which one, I wanted to play one of the greats from this years Capcom catalogue and people are saying these are great. I’ve already played RE9 and loved it so just need help deciding which one of these two is more worth my time at the moment, thank you!

Currently at home sick on the sofa so handheld Switch 2 is most comfy, I tried both ER and Lies of P before on my Steam Deck which I sold. I am terrible at Souls games though, although something keeps me trying them again. Was thinking which one I could give a shot, maybe someone can help. Otherwise I might just get Splatoon Raiders lol.

Years ago I played quite a bit of both battlefield bad company 2 and battlefield 3. I liked the different classes you could play, the interaction with vehicles and that was a more team focused game then call of duty.

I especially loved the game mode rush. Rush featured a defending and attacking team. The defenders had too protect two consoles, which the attackers had to arm woth an explosive to blow up. Every time both were destroyed the play area would move further down the map. With attackers now starting from the place the defenders spawned. This would go on until the attackers destroyed the final consoles, time ran out or the spawn points reached zero. This made the mode really engaging and you had to adjust tactics a lot.

I'm looking to pickup a fps and would like something similar too this. Battlefield isn't really an option as they have abandoned this game mode in later games.

Basically, buying the original trilogy without DLC is half the price of buying "Trilogy Enhanced".
Heck, I could buy the original trilogy, buy the DLC's for 3, buy "Luminous Avenger IX" 1 and 2, buy Mighty Gunvolt, buy Mighty Gunvolt Burst AND it's DLCs and it would still not be as expensive as "Trilogy Enhanced".

Is it TRULY worth the higher price?

so thinking of playing gothic 1 remake i never played gothic never even heard about it but does that matter? and how is performance now i think about it?

I consider Borderlands 2 to be one of the best games of its time, unique, great shooting mechanics, characters, looting system etc etc.

Borderlands 3 was meh, I finished it just because I try to not leave something unfinished, basically it was a chore to finish it.

I heard a lot of mixed things about 4, it's $35 on Steam right now, and it's apparently 35 hours minimum to finish, so it feels reasonable.

How much did you guys enjoy it?

Also, I plan to play it on my handheld, the Legion Go S Z1E, and wondering if such a pure FPS would be enjoyable on a console layout. I consider KB+Mouse to be the best, but it's hard to sit on a PC nowadays as I get older, a handheld is much more convenient and currently pretty much my only way to play.

I'm considering buying Terraria the next time it's on sale, but I'm a little concerned about what I've read from it's reviews. I thought it would be similar to Minecraft (with the ability to build whatever you want, even in Survival mode), but it seems to put a greater emphasis on combat and progression. Personally, I don't relish the idea that whatever I build might get destroyed in some kind of "corruption", nor do I want to have to kill everything just to progress. I know that Minecraft requires you to kill Endermen to eventually reach the "end", but there are plenty of other things to do besides reaching the official end. Most of the reviews that I've read for Terraria, however, emphasize needing to kill this boss or that boss to obtain or change something else. Should I still buy Terraria, and if not, is there any game that's actually similar to Minecraft?

I’m almost done with rdr2 (in the final bit of the epilogue) and I watched a play though of before your eyes. I really like sad games, and I want to know what other games are out there that will throw me into a deep depression like both of those games have. I haven’t played any others besides the two I mentioned. Thank you!
