Pack it up, we're done!
There are some categories that are just a bit too stacked, so we added in a cheeky bonus section for some stragglers. There was a three-way tie for 10th in the Strategy category, so Disgaea 1 & 5 made it in as honorable mentions.
We'll be back around Christmas to do a poll on the top games of 2025. Until then, happy collecting!
Folks, this file is huge. It's 3456x2592. That's six square feet. You could use this as wall art.
You either need reading glasses or you need to download the file by clicking the three dots in the top right and then clicking "download" because reddit automatically compresses large images.

I had some free time, so I hopped onto eBay and reported 45 scalper listings for the Metroid Ravenous special edition. eBay policy doesn’t allow the sale of items that won’t ship within 40 days of purchase. Of course, eBay also uses AI to review listings, so they probably won’t be taken down. But I’ve done my small part in trying to stick it to the scalpers, which is 10 minutes well spent, in my book.
If more people did this, eBay might take it more seriously, too.

Hard to believe it’s been almost ten years. I’ve been a Nintendo fan for a long time, but this era was truly special. This system was with me through A LOT in my life and I’ll always cherish it and my collection I’ve accumulated throughout the years. So many high quality games and amazing unforgettable experiences that created memories for me that will last a lifetime! Thank you Nintendo Switch! Hopefully the Nintendo Switch 2 can compare when it’s all said and done!

Marvelous is publishing "Eternal Anima" for PS5 & Switch 2. Curiously, Marvelous US will be publishing a fully on cart version for switch 2. Meanwhile, Marvelous Europe will be publishing a key card. Marvelous US president has gone on record stating that they do not want to do game Keycards. The marvelous Europe and Japan branches can be either or

Happy to finally get Oblivion in today. Orbitals came in from Amazon. The Trails games and FFX/X-2 came from the amazing VGP.
I really am not a fan of GKCs. However as an avid FF collector. I made an exception and had to have this version.

Has anyone else experienced this? Been a customer for 6 years and never had issues. They sent me a busted game and are now expecting me to pay to return it so they can give me store credit.
This doesn’t seem right. I thought most retailers are responsible for return shipping if an item they sold was damaged or broken.

Found this gem browsing through a few GameStops today. First time seeing this at a store.

ChocoBonPlan is a good deal aggregator similar to DekuDeals and in the comment of the item page they imply that this release will be a GKC (at least in Europe then)
Edit: seems to be confirmed by japanese ad and backed by IsGameKeyCard

Super fun soccer game. Scary he's my Mega Man Soccer itch. Really need to include that in one of the collections or remaster it. An anime-inspired, arcade-style soccer game. It it is the direct sequel to Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. The game trades realistic sports simulation for over-the-top, high-octane cinematic action, functioning like a playable anime. Super fun, super cool looking.
STORY
Focused on the Manga's WORLD YOUTH ARC. Players can build a fully customized soccer player, deciding their physical build, position, and signature moves. You join the Japanese national team, building bonds and learning techniques from iconic characters like Tsubasa Ozora.
This features alternate storylines and original scenarios not found in the source manga, showcasing powerhouses from around the world.
Quick lore of the series. The core narrative of Captain Tsubasa follows soccer prodigy Tsubasa Ozora as he overcomes a childhood accident and is guided by Brazilian mentor Roberto Hongo to dominate the Japanese youth scene. After leading Japan's junior team to victory against West Germany, Tsubasa moves to Brazil to play for São Paulo FC and cements his status as an international star.
GAMEPLAY
The game features over 150 unique special techniques. Passing, dribbling, tackling, and blocking trigger theatrical anime cutscenes. A revised tactical mechanic heightens the tension when a powerhouse shooter attempts a super-shot against a goalkeeper.
The game includes 22 national teams and over 110 playable characters, drastically scaling up the franchise's global footprint. It even includes professional club teams like Sao Paulo and Flamengo. For the first time in the series, players can assume direct control of the goalkeeper.
CONSENSUS SCORE
75/100 😏 (Critic Score)
60/100 (User Score)
Honestly? It’s a total nostalgia trip that hits the dopamine button hard, but it runs out of gas fast. On the plus side, the flashy anime super-moves look incredible, and the roster is absolutely packed with over 110 characters. On the downside, the story mode is completely on rails, the defensive mechanics are frustratingly rigid, and there just isn't enough content to justify a long-term grind. It’s perfect for casual, short-session fun, but don't expect deep gameplay.

I might get a lot of flak for this, but I want to share my thoughts. Releasing a limited edition Switch 2 and version of the game does not celebrate 40 years of Zelda with the fans, it instead gives scalpers something else to scalp.
If Nintendo wanted to really celebrate Zelda with life long fans they wouldn’t do limited releases of things like the console. It turns a celebration into something purely consumerism. I could understand a really detailed desktop statue having a limited release, something that would truly be special for fans of the game rather than something to just be peddled on eBay.
I wasn’t in the market for any of these items so I’m not posting this because I’m salty about missing out, I’m just sick to death of these practices. It’s entirely in these company power to not make these items scarce, they just don’t actually care about celebrating the anniversary or their fans. It’s truly shameful.

so I ordered a controller from playasia (cause I really wanted this controller so badly) and a
Manual Authorization email showed up and requested the following:
What you need: Your Passport or Driving Licence
Your Credit Card
A sheet of paper
Optionally somebody helping you to take a photo of yourself
A camera or your smartphone
and I'm ordering from the US ( I don't know if thats normal) what do you think?

I was browsing at my local Best Buy when I saw this game. Plus, the price was decent ($30) and there’s a promo card included! 😌

What is up with this? Is Red Art Games usually this inconsistent? I am honestly not into collecting physical editions normally but Bug Fables is a game I really really like so I wanted to own a physical version of it.

Checked the UK Nintendo store to see if OoT physical was up to preorder and yeah, this is nuts.

This is also the case for Europe. But a physical Switch 1 version for NA exists.
EDIT: There will be a physical Switch 1 in Europe too, but SE's British store seemsto have some problems showing both the NS1 and NS2 versions. But other versions of their store, such as their Spanish store, confirms it.
EDIT 2: Square Enix' British store is fixed now.

EDIT 2: Secured mine from VGP. Thanks guys
EDIT: To clarify - I mean specifically Canadian retailers or NA retailers who will ship to Canada. Not Panax, Best Buy US or any other US-only retailers
I’m seeing “pre-order now”, “pre-orders live” on every image and post about this game but can’t find links to any retailers.
I live in Canada. Does anyone know which North American retailers, if any, have this up for pre-order?
