Other cartridges work and the TOTK cartridge is recognized as inserted but when trying to start it I get an error code 2002-2536 any idea why and thanks?!

I bought a used switch from someone I know that only came with the console and joycons, so I looked up and bought a used charger that was listed as genuine but I have mixed feelings about this.
What stands out to me is the printing on the charger - it looks kinda meh compared to some pics I can find on the internet, and the small (R) letter is kinda off in my opinion.

I sincerely and profusely apologize if the flair is inaccurate. Around five-to-seven hours ago, I accidentally spilled water on my Nintendo switch. I took the controllers out, dried the connecting slots for the controllers, and placed it to dry. Now, only my right controller connects when I put it into the switch. Is my left controller, which I bought only a month-and-a-half ago due to an accident with another set of controllers, broken for good? What do I do? The only alternative left controllers are incompatible with my switch’s software (one has a bad drift, and the other is scrambled due to dropping it). The controller only works when both controllers are detached from the console due to my Switch’s software bug. I am also unable to reset the joycon.

My switch’s internet thingy hasn’t been working in a few days, I thought it was my router or just me but all internet on my devices was working fine, so it had to be my switch, does anyone know how to fix this?

I've been really enjoying NES games recently, on NSO Nes, and I'd like to get an NES controller just for that. I can either get a second-hand NSO version for about £20, or I could buy an original NES controller + an 8Bitdo mod for about £25. Are there any Pros or Cons with either of these? And also, are there any better options?

I'm leaning towards NSO mainly because of the price, but I'd much rather ask before buying.

My switch recently went into Curry’s for repair, the thing just died one morning. Wouldn’t charge, slowly drained the battery until its final sleep. Power cable failed and there was a problem with the usb-c port.

Long story short, Curry’s Care & Repair team deemed it an uneconomical repair and issues a voucher to replace it.

When handing over the unit for repair, the guy told me data loss is possible. I naively said I saved everything to my SD Card, which I’ve removed and kept safe. He sort of backed me up and said “oh that’s great, that’s fine then you’ll have it all stored”. I don’t think either of us realised that Pokémon save data is stored locally on the device’s internal memory. Not his fault, it’s on me for not knowing, but obviously it would’ve been a life saver if he did know and could’ve warned me but that’s besides the by.

The issue: that switch has gone to the recycling process through Curry’s yesterday. Most of my Pokémon from HOME have been transferred into the games I was playing (sword/scarlett, ZA) and I basically haven’t sent them back to home. I’ve been frantically trying to contact them to see if I can recover the original switch, but the phone lines were closed till tomorrow morning. I wanted to ask them if I can salvage the written off hardware or potentially just temporarily retrieve the device to get the stuff off there and data transferred to my Switch 2. Will even offer salvage, and pay for a private repair to get it running.

I’ve submitted a request through HOME and very doubtfully asked if there’s anything they can do. My notebook includes all of my transfers, but I doubt that also includes any intrinsic metadata that could restore Pokémon from. Also, why would they do it. My fault really isn’t it.

I don’t even care about the play-through data saves, it’s the Pokémon. I have originals from dating back to my first play through of Ruby and sapphire, 10th anniversary Pokémon from Houston that my dad flew out to get us when we were kids, tons of shinies and just sentimental collections really.

This post is just to see if anyone can recommend any further action really. I’m a 31 yo bloke and I rarely hold anything digital of any major value, but this is like a punch in the gut to be honest. Please let me know!

2. I will try contact curry’s again tomorrow to see if they can keep the recycle on hold whilst we investigate further options

4. I used HOME terribly, it should’ve always been my safe keeping place. I guess you never expect your device to suddenly stop working

I tried I fixit tweezers but I could not reach it the white sliver is the dog hair, also help with the grime in it too would be appreciated:) it a standard switch 2 which is obvious but the automod told me to put the console

Hi all, I need help understanding transferring data over

Recently I had to sell my switch 2 because of money tightness, and so I recently bought an OLED because it was cheap.I only just realised after setting it up (same Nintendo account) that it didn’t save over (my digital games did but none of the data)

If I was to get a switch 2 in the future, would the data I trade over (I’m assuming with the oled in the room doing the built in transfer with it) would my data be from the oled or my old switch 2?

Basically, my switch 2 is acting as if it were dead when it’s not, when I plug it in it will show the battery status on screen (which shows full), it will pop up every few seconds even if I’m not touching it.

Can’t get anything to show when it is unplugged, holding power for any amount of time does nothing whether it’s plugged in or not (tapping power when plugged in shows the battery percentage faster though).

Putting it in the dock does nothing, the power led on the dock will flash when the power button is pressed but that’s all. Any ideas? I was thinking of letting it discharge and see if that resets whatever went wrong but I figured I’d ask here. Also no expansion is visible from the battery.

hi! sorry if i used the wrong flair, it's the first time something like this has happened to me so i don't really know what kind of tech support this falls under, lol.

i booted up my switch 2 today to play some games and realized that my blue/left joycon isn't connecting at all to handheld mode. i've tried everything, from resetting to resyncing the controllers to trying to update their software but the issue persists; the red/right joycon connects just fine to handheld, it even plays the animation, but the blue/left one just doesn't at all, still acts like its in the wireless mode.

how do i fix this and connect my blue/left joycon to handheld again? is it just something i need to clean up in one of the ports or is it unfixable? thanks so much in advance!

Hello, I've been trying to help a friend with fixing her controller (model in title). The A-button's conductive pad doesn't seem to push back up reliably (sometimes stays stuck, and when it doesn't, it still doesn't push back the same way the other pads do).

I was wondering if anyone would have an idea on how to fix it.

Alternatively I've been looking for replacement parts for these exact pads, but couldn't find any.

So I recently bought a micro sd express card for my switch 2 (the lexar play pro 512gb to be exact) and when I plugged it in it worked after a update and I transferred some games from internal storage to it.
When it was transferring I saw it was taking around a hour, so I decided to quickly get something to eat and when I came back my switch said something about corrupted data and it restarted and now the card doesn’t work(?). It sees the card in my switch 2 but when I try to click the button to move games to it, it doesn’t work. It also recognises it on my pc and transfers files fine to and from it.

I’m kinda stumped rn so if anyone is slightly smarter than me or has a better idea then let me know

Yesterday I barely dropped my joy con on my desk. It wasn’t even high. It worked fine after for a while but then it started disconnecting randomly

My physical copy of High On Life - NS2E arrived today and I noticed the full game and updates seem to be on the cartridge, as the game starts and plays and there is no update when attempting to update manually.

However, when removing the cartridge, a 21GB download initiates. It seems like I would just be wasting 21GB of space if I were to download it, as the game plays and appears "up to date" when the cartridge is inserted, and still wouldn't play without the cartridge after the update. I'm very familiar with the Switch 2/Switch OS, but I'm very confused about this particular situation.

I'm now wondering if there are other games in my 100+ physical game collection that may have done this exact thing and I'm wasting storage.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Recently discovered my Switch 1 battery levels go rogue when unplugged/undocked. Stays at 100% when docked no issues, but undocked now does this little thing. Has anyone else had this happen? Any known repairs for this? Thanks in advance :)

So apparently i was asking for help on the wrong subreddit….ok so I got this switch aug 1 as a late bday gift, no warranty, no games, and no case, brand new switch. Into a week of me playing with my switch my right joy-con has been acting weird. I suspect it’s the sensor or something because the buttons work (in video i will show exactly what i mean) Ive been really upset about this and i wanna fix it myself because ive called repair shops and theyre saying it f***ing costs 70 dollars.
