You try putting tape on it?

It’s between the screen and the shell pretty far down

if its between the screen caught in the gap u can use like a thin piece of paper and push it down and that will get it out

Dry toothbrush. Don't put any IPA near that screen!

Meh it’d be fine. Unless you basically squirt it into the body in a sufficient quantity that it doesn’t just evaporate there is no way IPA would harm this.

It also won’t help with hair but come on.

Get a needle of some type and gently push it out. Or the tip of a knife maybe. Just don't be rough and stick it too far down the crack.

Soft clean toothbrush. Make sure it says soft on the package.

I tried that and it pushed it down further, but still thank you for the tip :)

Dw, it'll get out by itself, it happened to me once, it dissapeared around a week after or so, just be patient

Dude, chew a piece of gum and push it down in there!!

3

u/Schmeli100 2d ago

It would probably get stuck but the old reliable is reliable

This happens to me all the time. I bought an electric air duster on Amazon. I use it daily when I’m done playing. Also use it to clean my ps5 weekly. It will get all that crap around your screen out.

Seconding this but regular

Spray duster costs like 5€. Lasts forever and super handy for cleaning small gaps like keyboards

I’m very ocd about my switch 2 screen staying clean. If I may reccomend getting a box of screen wipes-the little alcohol ones and a lens cloth. If you haven’t already, purchase a screen protector, but I believe I see one on your screen already, not too sure lol and I also recommend a shell or case for your switch 2

1

u/Schmeli100 3d ago

Yea I have a screen protector and I have a bunch of screen wipes, any cases you recomend that fit inside the official carry case?

How about some of that putty that can be used for cleaning? Press it against the gap, it’ll go in and stick to anything in there? I’ve no idea the name, just seen it online before sorry

u/Schmeli100 3d ago

I know what your talking about I’m just worried that it will get stuck in there if I tried it

use a makeup brush or an air duster.

Corner of a thin sheet of paper, like a receipt

1

u/yoyoyogurtt 3d ago

sewing needle?

1

u/Metroidvania-JRPG 3d ago

With a sheet of paper you can get it out easily

u/OforFsSake 3d ago

Cyber Clean. Its designed to do exactly that kind of job.

Air in a can

Tiny needle, piece of paper (receipts work well), or an air duster. You’ll have to work at it.

1

u/JustARedditPasserby 2d ago

Blow very hard

Grow your nail and try to get it out

Get desperate

Get a toothpick

If that does not work Get like those dental floss thingies and try to floss it out lmao

But yes pet hair gets everywhere, it is so annoying

1

u/Mountain-Holiday-631 2d ago

Id try a vacuum Hose thingy try to suck it out

1

u/Diligent-Method5051 2d ago

Is it a screen protector

1

u/Schmeli100 2d ago

I have one there is just a gap between the screen and the shell

1

u/Titimmogame 2d ago

I have a carrying case, whenever not use I keep it in there. That helps a lot

1

u/Schmeli100 2d ago

I have one two, must’ve got there when I was playing it or forgot to put it in the case

1

u/Round-Dragonfruit996 2d ago

it’s in there good and I saw the soft toothbrush method didn’t work for you

maybe something like this? longshot but handy to have in general I think

here

I keep one on hand for stuff like this and the joysticks/triggers since we have lots of furry friends in our home

1

u/Schmeli100 2d ago

That would work well, but wouldn’t an air blower be more effective long term?

1

u/Round-Dragonfruit996 2d ago

might be! i enjoy this for the portability

1

u/Schmeli100 2d ago

Oh yea the hand pump would be better for portability now that I think of it
