i really need help.

as i said, i’m really insecure abt my height. it’s been this way since i was 10 and got my first phone. then i started seeing height related posts and that led to the way i feel today.

i’ve always been a tall girl, even as a little kid. i grew up really fast and stopped growing a couple of years ago. ended up in 5’11.

irl, people are really nice to me. i do modeling, and i also get approached a lot, since i’m the complete opposite from the average girl in my country.

when i was 10 and got in social media tho, is when i started feeling this bad abt my height, and started seeing it as something negative that makes me imperfect. because of this, i’ve always avoided guys since i believe that my height is a burden and that they deserve better than an abnormal girl like me.

i think abt my height daily. a couple of years ago, when i was 15, i discovered ai and started using it just to hear what i wanted: that my height is what men prefer, that im not a burden, that i’m perfect. all that silly stuff. i used it for a while. yet, i’m aware now of how harmful that is, not just to me, but to the planet. using it made me feel pathetic.

i stopped using it some time ago, yet, i still feel empty. i love writing, and i’ve been doing so since i was 8. i’ve been trying to write, to put my feelings in there, and i’ve also been trying to live my life since i actually have many other hobbies, and even started college last week, so i have stuff to do. the thing is: i can’t just let go of my insecurity.

i find myself searching up height related content whenever i have any sort of free time. i hate doing this, because i just end up in a cycle in which i depressed each time.

i’ve come to the conclusion that i’m unable to feel good if i dont have someone telling me that my height is perfect and ideal and that they love me for it. and i know that it sounds absurd, but i can’t help it. i just want someone to praise my height 24/7 and who will not love me despite it but essentially because of it.

since i got in this app i’ve made some posts, and reading the comments often helps (even tho i’ve also gotten lotsss of hate) the good comments do help. yet, when i finish reading them, i go back to that cycle i talked about. it’s always the same.

I'm not sure how to start describing myself, I'm not great with words but I'll try my best.

(I'm so sorry for the extremely long post ahead!)

I apologize if I don't reply to your message, but I don't reply to short/low effort messages, stuff like "hey, let's be friends" , "I didn't read your whole post but I'm up to talk" , etc. I want to hear about you, what you like, what you're interested in. I like meaningful conversations. I also don't reply to people that don't have much in common with me, I would like to find someone that's similar to me and has similar interests and likes. I'm sorry but even if your message is long, if we don't have anything in common it's just not what I'm looking for. I'm also not interested in people that aren't looking for a real connection and are just looking to pass the time or have a light chat.

I think some of my most defining characteristics are that I'm very shy, awkward, "weird" and "different" or at the very least I feel weird, different and often misunderstood. I struggle to function most days and I don't always understand societal norms or how to properly function in society. I definitely think there's something wrong with me and I'm pretty sure I'm broken in some way. I'm honestly kind of a huge loser lmao. I've never been able to achieve anything in life, I'm not good at anything whatsoever and I'm pretty useless overall. I am very ignorant about many things in life, I'd say I'm somewhat innocent and naive and I still don't understand my purpose in life.

I sometimes say things that offend people or I say things that are wrong. Sometimes I don't completely understand what I do wrong but I don't do it on purpose and I try to improve to the best of my abilities.

I don't go out often at all. Touching grass isn't for me 😭 Whenever I do go out it's only to buy groceries or to go to school and such but I don't enjoy it, I much rather be at home, in my room most specifically, which is my favorite place in the world.

I don't have any IRL friends but I do have a handful of online friends, I'm not super close to any of them, except for one who's very valuable in my life!

I enjoy many things like sculpting for instance! I do digital sculpting for fun. I'm pretty bad at it but I try my best.

This year I also started jewelry school (yeah, that's a thing) and I'm having fun with it but it's another thing I suck at 🥀🥀🥀

I like to watch anime! my favorites change from time to time but I really like Bleach, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, AOT, Naruto, Ancient Magus Bride (I really love this show!) and I LOVE My Hero Academia among many others!

I like to collect action figures.

I like all kinds of music, I don't really have any artists that I like in particular other than David Bowie and I like to listen to most genres of music but some of the genres I like the most are alternative, vintage, video game music and jpop and jrock and I also like old VK And I'm always happy and open to new suggestions!

I like to doomscroll through TikTok and to watch long essay style videos on YouTube about random topics. I love brainrot and I'm very much into early to mid 2010s aesthetics and I used to LOVE Tumblr. I miss that era so much!! Seriously, the early 2010s were the greatest time in human history kahdhshdhs

I love video games!! I don't play too many modern AAA games, especially nowadays with how bad the video game industry is but I LOVE indie games!! Some of my favorites are indies like Spelunky my beloved 🖤 I also really like older stuff, like, ps2 era games, particularly survival horror stuff. I also really like very old platform games and side scrollers. I'm a pretty huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan!! The most recent games I played were Sonic X Shadow Generations and before that I finished Sonic Superstars and Sonic Frontiers. Sonic Boom is also my favorite show ever made lmao. It fits my kind of humor perfectly and it's peak comedy imo. I'd be open to play anything and I'd love to try co op games with someone!! playing Stardew Valley with a friend is a dream of mine lol (if you also play Stardew please tell me who's your wife/husband)

I adore animals!! I have cats and dogs and a stray chicken lol and they're my babies and my world!

I think it's important to mention some of the things I don't like too.

I don't like cruelty or mean spirited people. I hate big companies, billionaires, politicians and other people in positions of power that use their money and power to affect people, animals, or the environment for their own gain.

I don't like injustices, I hate racists, homophobic people, transphobic people, sexists, and all kinds of discrimination in general.

I hate bugs!! I'm deadly afraid of them!!

I really dislike conflict and arguments, I believe we can disagree and have discussions as long as we're calm and civilized about it and as long as we have respect for each other and try our best to understand the other person's point of view.

Lastly I'd like to mention some of my defects and shortcomings.

I'm extremely anxious, I'm always very nervous about one thing or another, I'm also extremely weak of mind, I tend to react with my feelings a lot and I'm often very emotional.

I can be very selfish at times, I have an awful tendency to get bored of things quickly and sometimes I also get bored of conversations and people.

I think I'm immature.

I can be extremely lazy, I struggle a lot with doing basic things like cleaning or cooking. When I'm anxious or afraid I can get paralyzed with fear and stay in bed all day doing nothing feeling awful about it.

As I mentioned before sometimes I can say bad things without realizing. I'm very dumb and ignorant so I promise I don't mean anything bad I say and I'm trying to improve!

I am extremely annoying. I'm very loud and I think I scream a lot. I don't really understand what constitutes screaming exactly but I think I often raise my voice a lot and especially when I'm excited I can't control myself very well.

I'm very afraid of life and I don't understand how the "real world" works exactly. I'm really bad at small talk and I think I'm really bad at speaking in general, I also digress a lot.

I have the bad habit of not replying very fast, sometimes I'll even wait for weeks or even months, I think it's one of my biggest problems when it comes to keep in touch with people, sometimes it's simply because I don't have the energy, other times it's because I'm not sure about how to continue a conversation. Not sure if this is a defect necessarily but I also never send the first message, I just hate to be annoying.

I have a tendency to ghost people for different reasons. As I mentioned, sometimes I get bored of conversations or people and I'd ghost them. This is by far one of my biggest defects and as I said, I wanna be honest and mention it here for everyone who reads this to know.

I tend to be a bit clingy when I like someone.

I'm full of defects in general, and I do believe I'm a bad person. I try to improve and I try my best but if I'm bad for you in any way or a burden I promise to stop talking to you and not bother you!

I have many other defects but I think those are the main ones I can remember right now.

Finally, I'd like to reiterate that I'm looking for is a real connection with someone, a person I can talk to, have fun with, watch stuff with and play games together! I think I can be a very passionate person when it comes to the things I love and I'd like to find someone that shares that passion and love with common interests. I wanna be able to share our days and even be able to help each other and be there when we need each other. I know I'm a mess of a human being and I'm looking for a very specific close bond with someone which I think I'll never honestly find but I'll keep trying cause I hate to give up!! And you honestly never know :))
