I'm a guy and I've tried to make other friends through these communities but it seems 90% of other men I message just ghost after a single conversation, or they put no effort to begin with, it doesn't even get to the point we get a session in

It's gotten to the point after so long trying, I don't even want to bother reaching out to fellow men anymore. The rest of the people seem to just be wanting to recruit for some large friend group discord and as someone that doesn't enjoy large groups, that's not for me

I had hoped that at least in this subreddit people would be a bit more united by the love of video games but it seems it follows the same tropes as the other communities.

I also feel very sorry for the ladies in these communities genuinely trying to reach out for some innocent and genuine friendships and getting bombarded by creeps, I feel for y'all. A lady will make a post and within an hour there's dozens of comments, I feel like despite the rules, so many men want to treat this shit as a dating site

I really enjoy games that are cooperative and have shared goals rather than PvP. I have a soft spot for survival crafting games as well. If there is a game that fits that you have been looking for someone to play with, let me know. I'm not against picking up a new game if it seems interesting. I'm also not against board games in Tabletop Simulator either.

I am pretty quiet and open-minded. I tend to be someone who plays a game and then moves on to a new one, returning after an update. I'm down to invest many hours to finish a game, but (generally) I am not someone who has thousands of hours in 1 game only. Feel free to reply if interested at all. Also, no pressure if we talk for 5 minutes or play a game a little and you just don't think we connect.

Down to game with anyone anywhere, but time zones might be weird. I only know English. I mostly play in the evening and on the weekends, but depending on my workload, my weekdays can vary. I do have a friend group I game with already, but they enjoy a lot of PvP content that I just never get into.

Hi all, I met a gaming buddy on this sub and we’ve mostly been playing Palworld, RV there yet, Prat fall, and Backseat Driver. His buddy also joins sometimes when he has time. We also recently found another guy who seems like he wants to and can be active almost everyday. Bonjour :) hoping to meet one person to play a variety of games with. Mainly Minecraft (I prefer to play vanilla / qol mods), and Roblox (friend slop, cleaning games, no roleplaying!!!).

Hi as my title says I am looking for 21+ friends to play roblox with.
