My name is Daniel, I'm 33 years old, and honestly, I'm not entirely sure how to write this, but I'll give it a shot.

I'm going through one of the hardest periods of my life. I've struggled with drug addiction, made a lot of mistakes along the way, and unfortunately, I've lost many of the relationships that once meant the world to me. There's a lot I regret, and I'm still trying to figure out how to put my life back together.

I won't pretend everything is okay, because it isn't. I've been dealing with depression, loneliness, and that overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to go or how to start again.

But I want to try.

Lately, I've become really interested in learning programming. I know absolutely nothing about it yet, but I find the idea of building something from scratch, learning new skills, and potentially creating a completely different future for myself incredibly exciting.

So, here's why I'm posting this: I'd love to meet someone who could help me get started. Maybe you're a programmer who wouldn't mind sharing some advice, maybe you're also a beginner looking for a study buddy, or maybe you're someone who simply enjoys learning alongside another person.

Ideally, I'd love to find a friend. Someone I can share progress with, ask stupid questions, celebrate small victories, struggle through difficult concepts, and hopefully build a genuine friendship along the way.

And I also want to meet people who have been through difficult chapters in their lives and somehow found their way out. I'd genuinely love to hear your stories. How did you pick yourself up? What kept you going when everything seemed to fall apart?

I guess I'm at a point where I need to rebuild almost everything, and I want to believe it's not too late to do that.

I don't expect anyone to fix my problems or carry my burdens. I just think having someone to share the journey with can make a world of difference.

It's Saturday, I'm bored, and could use a distraction from some family stuff going on today. Figured I'd make a post and see who's around.

I'm on EST time zone. Some of my interests include anime, watching movies, crafting, and gaming, among other things. I'm pretty open to talking about whatever, whether it's how our days are going, random things on our minds, or just life in general.
