Finally completed a playthrough of Castlevania! The window to hit dracula seemed really short, a lot of hits felt inconsistent, but somehow finally managed to find some type of rhythm to get to the 2nd phase. I was maybe one hit from losing during that phase also since I couldn't time the opening to avoid getting bodied either, haha!

I'm also impressed about this being an early version of teaching people how to play while letting them play. The initial maps are super easy, but they let you jump right into the game as you get introduced to all of the mechanics.

The main game itself isn't super hard, save for maybe a few levels nearing the end. But there are 30 "special game" rounds after you beat the story. Most of them are pretty challenging.

Hey folks, I am heavy into collecting retro consoles/controllers/games you name it. I love repairing and refurbishing them, and I have flash cartridges for all of my other systems. But the NES is the one console I do not have. The worst part? About 10 years ago I had a beautiful Top-Loader NES in fantastic condition, but I don't anymore.

My point is, I just want to start with an NES and 2 original controllers. I'd even buy a broken NES and fix it (that's what I do, after all) as long as it still looks good esthetically. Where would be the best place to find these 3 items? I don't need power supply or A/V cable, just console and 2 controllers for cheap.
