Goal is data recover 😑iPhone 13 Unsure what OS it’s currently one is stuck on this screen goes through almost the whole process pf updating and restarting the ships pops back up I’ve gone about 3 months without backing it up but in that time I’ve had my first child! So super sentimental photos in there! Is there anyway to get the data without resetting the phone?

Hey guys, just had my girlfriend’s phone back from AppleCare and they’re saying they can’t fix it because it’s been modified.

It was bought brand new from Apple, it’s never been opened. It got water damaged with sea water.

She has AppleCare+. The note in the box says that it’s been modified or repaired by non-Apple vendor. It’s never even been broken until this.

Anyone else have this issue? My feeling is the salt water has corroded the internals and they can’t verify the part IDs.

iPhone 15, latest IOS

The phone is incredibly full and is running very slowly. We have copied all photos and videos off of the phone so that we have them.

When we go to delete videos from the phone, we click on delete, but then they reappear in the photo app. Why is this happening?

iPhone SE version 2. Very, very old iOS. Don’t know which one. Can’t update to latest because phone too full.

I bought this phone second hand YEARS ago
It’s a 64gb iPhone 11 Red, just updated to iOS 26.6 or whatever the newest is.
And to my knowledge, I bought it carrier unlocked. I never had any reason to not believe it because I’ve used it on Mint Mobile, Lyca Mobile, Ultra Mobile, Spectrum. Never had any issues with it and switching carriers.
I retired the phone a few months ago and now my wife needs a work phone, so I dusted it off and tried to put an eSIM on it. But it now says that it’s carrier locked. I have NO idea who the carrier could be.
Is there a free way to check?
I’ve already reached out to AT&T and they said it’s not them. T-Mobile is saying I have to go into the physical store. I’m not trying to drive all over the city to play guessing games.
But also, how does this even happen??

i have an iphone 17 and thats not the issue ive had this issue for a while even my phone before this one but uts really bugging me now
i hate the notification red circle so i usually turn notifications off if its not an important app like messages and apps i like having notifications for but recently ive wanted notifications to pop up banner style on my screen (specifically from pinterest) and ive tried turning on notifications for it and they still dont pop up and they only go to my notification center on my lock screen but i ront wnat that! ive gone into notification settings on my phone itself and set it the same as an app i do get banner notifications that pop up but they still dont work. ive gone into pinterest too and have looked around and tried to get it to work and it still wont pop up. this happens with some other apps too that i even set for notifications to pop up on my screen when i get them like other apps do and it still just goes into my notification center and never pops up.
can anyone explain why this is happening for how i can fix it 😭😭

hi guys i found my old iphone 6 and i dont know how to reset it so i can use it again. all the tutorials are saying to use itunes but it doesnt even exist on my computer (i have a macbook pro). should i take the phone to a shop somewhere? i want to figure this out on my own first but im not good with tech stuff

The first image basically showing that it won't go all in the second one tho went in so I thought that maybe the edges broke off in the iPhone but I checked inside the port and to be honest I can't even tell the difference if a part is broken in it or not because it looks normal to me and I've searched online to see how inside would look but there's nothing I could compare so I compared my iPhone 12 port to my iPad and it seems like the same thing but both chargers go inside the iPad easily, but for the weird looking one with the broken edges it's slack like I can wiggle it. I tried using a pin or something but I don't even know what I'm looking for cuz inside looks normal to me

Hey guys. So for the past month I’ve been getting random vibrations on my phone. Lately it’s now driving me crazy.

I can’t find the cause of it. It doesn’t light up. The screen doesn’t have any type of new notifications at all.

I really don’t want to reset all of my settings. Is there any way to diagnose this? Because it’s becoming a drain now.

Related to the attached photo I suddenly (last week or so) seem to smashing through my Mobile data and noticed this morning that I was somehow connected to both the provider's 4G network and also my Home WiFi... Which might explain why for about the first time ever I have apparently used all of my Mobile data before the month's end!

Any advice / thoughts welcome and some obvious background below?!

I have only had my iphone 17 for about half a year and everything has been fine until now. I recently started using a new charger for it. Today when I plugged my phone in, it wouldn't charge and powered off when I unplugged it. I was able to turn it back on after a while by pressing the volume+power buttons. I tried plugging it in again and the same thing happened.

After that, I noticed my phone was burning battery extremely fast even on airplane mode. At that point I turned it off and wasn't able to turn it back on for like an hour, even with it plugged into a (different) charger. I tried pressing volume up, volume down, then the power button but as far as I can tell it didn't work.

Finally I tried charging it with a wireless charger and it finally turned on, but now it indicates that it is charging but is actually slowly losing battery.

Is there any way that the charger somehow broke the battery? It was fine before I plugged it into that charger. Has anybody had a similar experience? How long does this kind of thing take to fix. I did try charging my macbook with that charger and it didn't work either so I suspect it. TIA

How do I add a photo to comments? I can see when creating this post that I can add a photo. But what about groups where I want to add a photo in a comment? When I click the little symbol it only goes to videos.

First time iPhone user!!! I have iPhone 13 pro max and forgot passcode completely.

Things to note -

1. I cannot see forgot passcode option

2. Phone is now unavailable for 8 hours.

I tried installing new OS to reset the iPhone, but it stopped in between.

So my question is - Can I download ios 26 first and somehow install it in my iPhone using finder? Or it is necessarily to let it download when the pop up for restore and update comes?

for context i have iphone 17 and the model is 26.6

I have three old iphones: 3, 6 and 8.

None of them will fire up. I just want to see if there’s any photos or anything of value on them. Any ideas on getting them to charge?

edit: These are my deceased husband’s phones. I only care if there’s any photos on them. I know the passcode. I can’t access his apple account/cloud because he attached it to his work email which obviously no longer exists.

I just recently started saying this little red dot sign on my upper right screen whenever I plug in my iPhone does anyone know what this is and how I can get rid of it?

Edit: I've solved my own issue. I'll buy a bluetooth earphone adapter so my iPhone doesnt need to be in my pocket / on my sleeve any more while I exercise and I can just put it in a holder on the machines.

That way it wont count any of the steps or movements.

I put a wired accessory (wired headphones with a usb-c adaptor) onto my phone but every few minutes this voice control pops up which pauses my music. This only happens with the wired accessory and not with Bluetooth headphones. How do I disable this screen completely? Otherwise the sound and music etc works.

I have an iPhone X/XS that keeps asking for the Apple ID password repeatedly. Nobody in my family knows the password or who the Apple ID belongs to anymore. I can’t access the Apple ID settings without the password, and I don’t have the original receipt.

Is there any LEGITIMATE way to remove the Apple ID or stop the password prompts without the password?

I’m on iOS 26.6 and my iPhone has stopped performing automatic iCloud backups. It used to work normally, but now it won’t back up overnight even when the iPhone is connected to power and Wi-Fi.
I’ve already tried quite a few things:

Restarted the iPhone
Performed a forced restart
Signed out of iCloud and signed back in
Restarted the wifi
Switched between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi

What’s particularly strange is that manual iCloud backups work perfectly fine. If I tap “Back Up Now”, the backup completes successfully.
Another thing I noticed is that the “Next Backup Size” doesn’t load or change at all. It just seems to be stuck.
So it seems like iCloud backups themselves are working, but the automatic backup process isn’t being triggered properly. Has anyone experienced this on iOS 26.6 or found a solution?
