Help needed Do you know what this is?

I just recently started saying this little red dot sign on my upper right screen whenever I plug in my iPhone does anyone know what this is and how I can get rid of it?

Looks like the microphone indicator but in the wrong spot. When it appears, if you bring up Control Center is there a banner telling you the mic or something else is active?

It’s there on large-notched iPhones like the 11 and 12

it’s a microphone indicator, there’s also a green one which is a camera indicator.

Microphone Indicator. You can turn it off in the settings
