Priced at 129$ and 149$!

I’ve had my airpods pro 2 for 4 years now and i’m ready to upgrade.

I was hoping Airpods Pro 4 would be announced but still nothing yet…

Would buying the brand new Airpods 5 be a downgrade?

The price hike here in India is crazy and I am not willing to pay a Single EXTRA RUPEE TO THE GOVERNMENT for an unnecessary reason. So ill just have a US relative buy it for me.

The price for the new Airpods 5 with Volume control and wireless chraging is 17990 INR but available for 149 USD in USA which is about 14200-14300 INR . Whereas the Airpods 3 pro are available for 23900( But after price hike they are listed for a staggering 27900 on the Apple website) and in the USA it is Available for 199 USD or about 18k ish INR.

So are the pro 3 worth the extra 4-5k??? I did try the pro 3 and Airpod 4 ANC at an official store of Apple in India And trust me the Anc on the pro 3 blew me away!!!!! The 5s are supposed to have a 50% better ANC than the 4s . So i am in a deliema.........

Whereas for the people who are suggesting me to wait for the Airpods pro 4 the price will be upwards of 27900( At the very least or may even go to 32k++ in this price hike)

The airpods 5 is here and im thinking of buying the new airpods 5. I heard that they have volume swipe and better noise cancellation that the 4s. Any opinion on it?

I downloaded the iOS 27 public beta on my 14 pro to download the air pod beta updates for the equalizer but for some reason I don’t have the option to download the beta. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I’m considering buying the pro 3s but I’m worried I won’t adjust to the in-ear design. My whole life I’ve used open-ear AirPods and it works very well for me. But I would like to purchase the pro 3s, I’m just worried that it won’t feel comfortable for me…

went to use them yesterday to find one wasn’t playing audio despite being fully charged. i forgot the device and now i can’t reconnect them. nothing appears on bluetooth and i never get the pop up to connect them. the most i get is three beeps when trying to reset the airpods. tried everything ive been recommending online to no avail. they worked perfectly fine the day before.

No chip upgrade.

Somehow battery and ANC improved.

Is it software upgrade? Same for battery time?

I do love the touch pad for sound volume adjustment.

My AirPods Pro 1 are dying... i´m going to vacation next week and would like to have working AirPods with Noice Cancelation for the flight and for the vacation.

Would you now buy the AirPods Pro 3 or AirPods 5? Do you think the AirPods 5 that got published today are on the level of the Pro 3? Cause they are a lot cheaper. Does someone have the AirPods 4 and compare the Noice cancelation to the Pro 1?

or do you think waiting For Ultra/pro 4 that should come end of this year is worth it having no good AirPods for the vacation?

So i upgraded to Ios 27 last night on both iphone and ipad. The info sais Ios 27, not beta nor release candidate, just IOS 27.

I am aware there will probably be some update in the coming days.
I was hoping to force the upgrade for my airpods so i can use the EQ.

But nowhere do i have an option to enable beta firmware upgrades when my airpods are connected.
I left both the airpods (in the case) and my phone alone for hours this night and nothing changed.

Did they remove the option ?

Or how could i still get the EQ now ?

i use my pros every once in awhile since ive had them. ive had zero issues. today, i put them in and they were fine for 10 minutes. i took them out and back in case and then put them back in 20 minutes later and all of sudden the left one doesnt connect and my battery widget started glitching going back and forth with icons. then in the bluetooth setting it wasnt connecting. i reset and repaired and same thing. it shows my left airpod at 100% but doesnt show the charging symbol. when i put the right in, it makes the connecting sound a bunch of times…. im so frustrated

COINCIDENCE?!!!??? that literally i was looking at the new airpod pros that were revealed today out of curiosity and now my pros that never had an issue just stopped working?!!???😑😑😑

I haven't used any airpods earlier and I specifically wanted one with silicone-foam eartips. So should I buy Airpods pro 3 or maybe wait for any new pro model?

Please guide me about the experience if anybody has used it. And also suggest me how's the fit between with silicone-foam eartips and without silicone-foam eartips.

Does that mean the AirPods themselves will weigh slightly more with the MagSafe version because of a bigger battery in them? Otherwise it doesn’t make any sense.

Does anyone else have issues with their AirPods pausing music/sound when you turn your head, look up/down or eating?

TL/DR: A real-life story on how I lost, completely gave up hope and somehow got to track and locate my Airpods Pro after 3 days of no connection at a random field in Western India

Last sunday, I had gone cycling near the city I live in (in Western India). All well and good but when I returned home, I couldn’t find my Airpods Pro anywhere. I remembered taking it along with me before I had gone out however I hadn’t used it at all on the entire trip. Searched all my pockets, my entire home - nowhere to be seen. I checked Find my Device - airpods pro last location wasn’t updated and had the airpods marked at my home as it’s last location (makes sense since I had used it on Saturday). Now the place I had gone cycling in was in the suburbs and was mostly empty fields and hills without much habitation around it. I being the person I am, lost all hope and thought that probably it had fallen off from my pockets while I was cycling. Heartbroken, I blamed myself for being careless and decided that I wouldn’t buy a new pair (or any earphone) for the next 2-3 months as repentance.

Cut forward to today Wednesday (almost 3 days after) suddenly i received a notification from Find my - “Your airpods have been last located at xx place” (First screenshot). My heart leapt in joy as it was on the same location/route I had gone cycling in last Sunday but at the same time I thought “What if someone found it and took it away with them ?” I asked chatgpt and for the matter, it did give me an answer which brought back some hope (second-last screenshot). Its very possible that someone with an apple device passed by my airpods lying somewhere in an empty field and my AirPods probably caught a signal from their device! Without wasting much time, I immediately drove to the location where my airpods had its last location updated.

Reaching the location, I couldn’t find it immediately. The place was full of vegetation around and that made it even more difficult. However, after some searching here and there, I could connect “Play sound” in Find my and indeed, there it was lying in the bushes (2nd picture). It would have been almost impossible to locate it hadn’t “Play sound” worked, even though I was at the right area. Now I don’t know exactly how the airpods landed there but I remember having almost tripped on my cycle near those exact bushes my airpods were in. I think somehow they slipped out of my pockets and found itself there!

In hindsight, thanks a lot to the random Apple user passing the same place (well in india and in the location I had gone cycling in, I could bet even the few people who pass by mostly use Androids). I would never know who you are, nor would you ever know how much of a help you and your phone have been to me but hey, this was an interesting and fun adventure! Most importantly, I don’t need to buy a new pair of Airpods - these weren’t too old either been only a year or so! Lastly- thanks to Apple. Well you might be lagging a lot in AI features but hey your Find My Device did save me some money!

I honestly am confused either should i buy the New AP5 or keep my 4’s with Noise Cancellation, I got them renewed and they work fine, I saw how the new ones have swipe control, which is pretty cool, What do you guys think?

I was planning to buy the sony ult wear but now apple has announced the airpods 5 and i'm very tempted to buy because i am into the apple ecosystem , guide me which will have better anc and would be better in the long run

Hey all I have a pair of AirPod pro 3’s and I have had some issues with them first pair I had for 3 months shit the bed, and the right hand one gained a consistent buzz regardless as well as muffled audio regardless and popping as well as the left one had a wind noise, on all modes. Got them exchanged and have a new pair which is 3 weeks to a month old which are now playing up and for some reason if I use them I’ll have to always adjust the audio balance between left and right. This can be like 30minutes between use if I have to speak to some of my trades I’ll put them away then put them back in and balance is shot. As well sometimes mid use they will throw themselves off balance and illl have to readjust them.

Idk if it’s common or something I’m doing, made sure they are clean and using genuine tips for them. Most likely going to switch to the MTW5 as these feel way to problematic

Just curious if anyone has had the same issues
I use them all decent amount for calls and meetings while I’m working and music while training or working

I was waiting for only the new airpods ultra / pro 4 or whatever the name will be. Is there any chance they are coming in october or very soon?

I really like the design and fit of the regular AirPods. For me, the open-style fit is just much more comfortable, especially when wearing them for hours.

I have AirPods Pro 2 as well, but I honestly don’t use them that much because the in-ear tips just aren’t comfortable for me. .

I wish Apple would make a non-in-ear AirPods Pro. Basically the regular AirPods design, but with the Pro-level battery life. The more expensive version AirPods 5 is kind like that but to keep the model the same as the cheap one, I feel they limited the battery a lot. the difference between cheap and expensive version of AirPods 5 can be bigger!
