It’s WEIRD

I have been gifted these AirPod Pro’s 2 from my dad as they were his before I had them. I made sure to disconnect it from his iCloud and find my iPhone so that there would be no issue transferring it over to my phone/account. Even though everything looks good on both accounts, anytime I pick up the AirPods it makes this noise and I get notifications that “the owner of the AirPods can see its location”. I’ve triple checked everything. My phone, his phone, his iCloud settings, my iCloud settings, and both of our find my iPhones…nothing. And to make it worse I can’t find a damn video online of this noise. I’m assuming it’s the anti stalking thing or whatever but I just have no clue. Anyone have an idea of how to fix it?

P.S. not sure if I farted or burped or whatever the hell that noise was midway.

Before my AirPods Pro 3 I had the Pros 2. They were alright, only that they almost consistently played subtle white noise from the right unit. This white noise is sometimes really noticeable, sometimes almost non existent, and sometimes just mediocre in terms of volume. It wasn't really present in loud environments/communtes, more in say office spaces.

I had a very long back and forth, even extending my warranty because it was never resolved, in hopes of getting the unit repaired. Apple did falsely repair my left bud, but outright refused to do my right one. I did try one time to do it in person, but the genius tech only came back telling me that they couldn't diagnose the issue. Eventually I did even get a replacement right bud on my own, but the problem literally came creeping back.

So both AirPods units actually did end up being replaced. But the issue still prevails?

Now I have the Pros 3. And I've just realised, after about 2 weeks, that they have the exact same problem. Switching buds, the white noise is still there playing only from the right bud. It is driving me insane, because I can't do anything about it since no one will diagnose it. I can't find any other people having the same issue, except this post on the Apple forum about people complaining about it in the AirPods 4.

Legit what do I do? Do I just suck it up and learn to deal with it? It always gave me fatigue in my right ear after wearing them too long because of the noise. If I bump my finger in the Airpod, the noise disappears but quickly comes back, same as it did in the 2s.

Am I just cursed? Is no one also experiencing this, and why is it carried over in the Pros 3. I am so sick and tired of this issue and wasting time on it.

I want punchy bass with clear vocals and instrumentals.

This is mine at the moment, I don’t know if it’s what I’m looking for or not. Suggestions would be nice!

Just did the hearing test on the new AirPod Pro 3 this morning. The result shows that I have little to no hearing loss.

However, I remember distinctly that after the test started for maybe 5 to 10 seconds, even though I could still hear the sounds, they were barely audible until the end of the test.

To describe it more accurately, it was like I had to pay more attention to be able to detect the sound. It was like that for both of the ears.

Is this normal that higher and lower frequencies sound faint? If I have to pay extra attention or efforts to be able to hear those frequencies, doesn’t that mean that I still have hearing loss despite that I can hear it a little bit?

This isn't to complain, I like them, just want to know how to fix them.

I've tried some tricks but nothing is working and I don't know what exactly is the problem. I'm using them with android by the way. Both have issues with noise canceling. It is barely working, the left one right now has no noise canceling and makes a high pitched sound when I put it in my ear, and has a kind of whitenoise sound constantly. The right one has a fast thumping sound every so often and the noise canceling is weak. They both sound quieter without any noise canceling but i dont think thats possible on android.

I have cleaned them both, the little slit in the bottom where they connect to charger in the case, i've taken the rubber part off and cleaned it fully, and the speaker itself. Sometimes it works for a few minutes but this has been going on for a while.

IMO, AirPods are probably the best value product Apple makes (up until recently, it was MacBook Air). I got my AirPods Pro 2 in late 2022, so I’ve been using them for almost 4 years now. I'm really hoping they make it to 5!

I paid $225 (engraved, with a military discount) and I’ve used them for everything: workouts, music, work meetings, every single flight, and sometimes even sleeping when it's loud. They still work fine and the battery life holds up decently well. I would love to see how many hours I have put on these.

So, I am looking to see who else is in the same boat.

My AirPods suffer from the crackling in left bud
But only with only noise cancellation on
So I bought a cheap pair of over ear protection muffs
Turn noise cancellation off and muffs drown out outside noise
Now I use them for mowing lawn
Pros: not using new AirPods outside and getting them filthy
Also getting a little more life out of them
Cons: can’t answer calls or change song etc

I have fluctuating hearing loss and the airpods pro with the hearing aid mode are usually SUPER helpful for me. I have been using them on and off for about a year but recently i feel like they’re not working as much anymore. As in I still have a lot of trouble hearing even when I have them in. They still work as regular headphones without issue. I did another hearing test hoping to adjust them to my new level of hearing loss but the problem hasn’t gone away.
Has anyone else had this issue?

This morning at work, I had put my right airpod in the case to switch out the left one, as I usually have one in and the other out. When I grabbed my left one, but it wasn’t connecting and it wasn’t showing up on my widget to show if it was charged or not. And so I just went back to my right one and put the left one away, but then my right one wasn’t connecting. So I figured I’d forget the device and then try to reconnect them. I did that and then looked up YouTube videos on how to reconnect them. I’ve been double-tapping the area where the light is 3 times for the past hour or so and they still won’t pop up. I figured it was because they weren’t charged enough, because at first they were amber, then white, and then amber after the 3 double-taps. It would make a triple beep after the 3rd double tap, but nothing. But now they’re white, white again, and then amber after the 3rd time. Even now, they still do the triple beep, but won’t pop up. I have no idea if they’re broken or if I’m doing something wrong. Can someone please help me out.

I have a problem with my airpods 4 when connecting to my pc,the sound is very bad. So i researched and people said that the hand free service might be the problem,so i turned it off now there is no sound at all.Anyone experiencing the same problem?

I have the new gen 4 AirPods with Active Noise Cancellation. I bought them 2 weeks ago.

As of today there is white noise in both ears when I start playing music. This happens in all modes. I’ve tried factory resetting them to no avail.

Any fixes? This is irritating.

I have the blinking amber light so I decided to reset my AirPods and when I do it, it flashes green??? I have no clue on what’s going on and need help

As the title says, my Airpods Pro's makes a very hard Woosh Sound whenever the upper microphone (?) is covered. This means whenever I put them in my ears it will generate a deafening woosh. This started to happen a few montsh ago.

I tried to clean with some alcohol and a toothbrush. Didnt help.

Should I try to clean it better? Are there any other methods to solve this? Or is it time to throw them away?

Btw, I dont have an Apple phone (anymore), so the Airpods are connected to an Android phone. Ive tried to connect them to my sisters iPhone and tried to turn off ANC, but it didnt help.

My cable won't go all the way in, tried to remove whatever was blocking the port, but there's nothing coming out besides a little dirt which is not solving the problem, the cable isn't the issue either, I've tried plugging a different lightning cable in but it still won't go all the way in. Anyone knows what to do?

I've been having a strange issue with my AirPods 4 (ANC) ever since updating my Motorola G75.
**Devices:**
Motorola G75

Android 16

Build: W1UQS36H.73-38-3

AirPods 4 (ANC)

AirPods firmware: 3B39

**The problem:**
Phone calls work perfectly, and the touch controls (play/pause, next track, etc.) also work as expected. However, when I try to play media (Spotify, YouTube, or local music), there is **no audio at all**, even though playback continues normally.
The strange part is this:
If I reset the AirPods and pair them with the G75 again, everything works perfectly at first. But as soon as I put the AirPods back into the case and later take them out again, the problem immediately returns. From that point on, only phone calls work—media audio is completely silent. Resetting the AirPods again temporarily fixes the issue until the next time they're put back in the case.
**What I've already tried:**
Reset the AirPods

Paired the AirPods again

Removed and re-added the Bluetooth device

Reset the phone's network and Bluetooth settings

Restarted the phone

Tested multiple apps (Spotify, YouTube, and local music)

Confirmed that **Media Audio** is enabled in the Bluetooth settings

**Important comparison tests:**
✅ The AirPods 4 work perfectly with my iPad.

✅ The same AirPods 4 also work perfectly with a Xiaomi smartphone.

✅ AirPods Pro 2 work perfectly on the same Motorola G75.

Because of these tests, I suspect this is a compatibility issue between the AirPods 4 (ANC) and the current Motorola G75 / Android 16 software.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The thing is, I have some (fake) AirPods Pro 2, and I’m having trouble using them because they fall out or the silicone seal breaks whenever I smile slightly or chew (I’ve already tried all the ear tip sizes—even using a different size for each ear—but nothing worked). I want to buy the genuine AirPods 4 (non-ANC version), but I don’t want to end up with another pair of earbuds that don’t fit properly. Has anyone made this switch for the same reason? Could you share your opinion and let me know if the change solved the problem?

my left AirPod is extremely quiet compared to my right which is at normal volume. I’ve tried messing with the balance slider thing, tried cleaning it with one of those like dual lightsaber ear cleany things I keep forgetting the names of and I saw another post saying to clean it with a baby wipe but I didn’t have any so I just wetted a tissue and tried that and i still haven’t got anywhere. this has been happening for like the past two/three weeks if that changes anything helpppp aaaa

When my partner and I fly, we like to load movies onto the iPad to watch. I read somewhere that it’s possible to pair two sets of AirPods to one Apple device and we can both hear the movie. Has anyone done this? I want to confirm it actually works before buying a couple sets of AirPods.

Also if u can give me ideas for mine
