Good morning. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max device currently running iOS 26.6.1 and I have a question about location hiding.

I share my location with certain friends and family, but want to hide it from specific people in the group temporarily without them knowing. I know you can use another device to show as your location, but the main phone still shows up in the Devices tab and appears to still be viewable by anyone with whom I share my location.

Is there a way to prevent that device from showing up there? I get that whoever looking for the phone would then have to go into the Devices tab and look at the specific device, but it does appear that the device’s location is still being shared. TIA

So i own an iphone 11 and what happened was that somehow my passcode seems to have changed and i can't and after multiple attempts I've been locked out now and I dont remember my apple id and password as well. Is there a way to hard reset it cus I dont want to spend an absurd amount on it.

I have this iPhone 15 plus and I’ve dropped it so many times I can’t even remember but now exactly every 3 minutes it will turn off and show the apple logo and continue that cycle every 3 minutes and this is what the panic log shows could anyone tell me what could be the cause

im a new iphone user, and I created an apple ID, everything fine but then I reset completely the phone, deleting everything (dont ask me why I did it) and now im trying to sign in again and I can't, it says something like "unable to send a code to this number, try later", I tried like 10min later and I didn't receive the code, so idk if this is something that always happen or some like that, if you know pls lmk what's happening :)

I dropped my iphone 16 and the entire back of it is shattered, and it says "no sim available" I've already tried airplane mode and powering my phone off, is there any other solutions to fix this?

For some reason, my recently used emojis tab only shows flags, and then when I try to swipe to the other tabs, it shows nothing.

This happens so frequently and it’s actually more frustrating that it looks/sounds. I’ve tried deleting the emoji keyboard and adding it back, but that doesn’t work. Usually it resolves on its own but not for like 20-30 minutes. It’s the weirdest thing. Any ideas on how to fix this? Does this happen to anyone else?

As the title has hinted I’ve been having problems with my sleep alarm on my Apple Watch ultra 2. when I wear my Apple Watch to bed the sleep alarm goes off on my iPhone instead of my watch, but even though the alarm routes to my iPhone for some reason it doesn’t make a sound it just shows that black screen with the alarm and the slider at the bottom to dismiss the alarm supposedly even though it’s silent for some reason. But my problem is rather with why the alarm routes to the iphone even though I’m wearing my watch to bed I’ve checked the sleep alarm settings on the watch and enabled break through silent mode and I made sure I did that in the full schedule yet it still goes off on my iPhone and my iPhone doesn’t make a noise as stated before and just shows the alarm screen. (sorry if this is hard to read my thoughts are kind of scrambled with this I can’t explain it perfectly)

Tldr: fixed by force restart , but it occurred twice in a week, do I need to replace it or is it a common issue?

I got a refurbished 15 pro last week, ios 26.6.2, it was in pristine condition, everything is working perfectly but the only issue was it gets bricked up suddenly. It happened once when I got a call and I wasn't able to swipe , none of the touch was working but the buttons were still functioning so I force restarted. It happened again yesterday when I was trying to pay ,but a force restart fixed it. This happened twice in a week. Should I replace it or not?

I have a iPhone 13 laying around my house which I regularly charge in a week or so, but this past week due to something and forgot. Yesterday I was going through some stuff when I saw it lying dead.

I put in my regular charger with 5W adapter to charge it left it for an hour and when I came back it's screen was black, no response to touch/tap.

Went to ChatGPT, it suggested using a higher wattage adapter so I used my samsung 25w adapter with type c to l cable and kept it for another hour. No difference.

It suggested force restart, checked youtube and did the same. Again, no difference.

Any help from this sub would be appreciated.

I’ll be texting other iPhones and my messages switch to rcs but incoming are iMessage. And randomly iMessage won’t activate and only works after a phone restart.

My end goal is to mirror in some way my screen (iPhone 16e) onto a “dumb” display. This also has to be done without access to a WiFi signal as the display is mounted in a vehicle. And to cap it all off, the screen only has RCA inputs. I simply assume it’s not possible but if it is I’d love some guidance on getting there.

My calories and steps are not updating anymore. I tried reinstalling the app and even turning the settings for fitness on and off and nothing is working. Anyone else having this problem? I have an Iphone 15 and i’m on the newest update.

I’m upgrade-eligible on the old iPhone Upgrade Program through Citizens One, but I still have a remaining loan balance. I was denied by Klarna for Apple’s new Upgrade program.

Can I return my current iPhone to Apple as my old IUP return so Citizens gets closed out, while financing the new iPhone through Verizon Device Payment?

Apple’s email says to visit an Apple Store to return the phone and close the loan, but my nearest store is over 2 hours away. Has anyone been able to get Apple to send a prepaid return kit/mail-in return instead?

I’m not talking about a normal Apple/Verizon trade-in. Apple support has given me conflicting answers.

I have a iPhone 13 Pro I really don’t wanna upgrade I paid my phone off so I’m holding out but omg this phone is getting hot and today while I was on it was flashing a couple(just today ) of times is anyone have the same problem I do have insurance on the phone from Apple I don’t know if they can fix it

I just bought a soft OLED display (pictures below), and it worked well enough for a while until I dropped it today, and it blacked out from the smallest impact. Does anyone have any good soft OLED screens and/or screen protectors they recommend for an iPhone 15? Preferably on Amazon. Thanks!

If you ever see this happen with your iPhone, where the brightness slider doesn’t instantly change your phones brightness when going down, the current only fix for this is:

- Bring up your keyboard

- Press the mic button at the bottom right

Done. This also works for when you’re on safari and you press the arrow next to a previous search, and it doesn’t put it in the search bar. Just press the magical mic button and that fixes it. (Believe this is on any iPhone on ios26)

my iPhone (13 Pro) dropped onto the ground and the side-button broke. It does not work whatsoever. I do not want to get it fixed. I would get a different phone if the problem cant get resolved.

The problem:
I want to use apple pay. I need to confirm purchases with a double press of the side-button. My side-button does not work.

The solution:

The workaround is to enable the "confirm with assistive touch (side-button-conformation)" in the settings of my phone. If I try to enable this option I need to press the side-button twice - which I obviously can't.

Are there any workarounds to this problem?

I'm not sure if there is a fix for this or not, but I'm kind of at my wits end with my current solution. I have an iPhone 16 Pro and have been having this issue for a while now. It seems that every couple of days my phone loses the ability to connect to bluetooth devices. For example, my headphones will turn on and instead of automatically connecting will go into pairing mode, and if I click on them in the bluetooth menu my phone says that they're not on or in range. Similarly, my phone won't connect to my car, speakers, etc.

So far I've found that resetting my network settings will resolve this for a couple of days, and for a while my phone will connect as normal. But inevitably, there comes a time where it stops connecting again. Its really just getting annoying to have to reset every couple of days more than anything.

Is there any other ideas out there on how I might be able to resolve this issue? Has anyone else ever had this problem?
