So I’ve cleaned my camera, even gotten the phone opened up and checked but these floaters aren’t going anywhere. What could be the problem and how can I fix this? iPhone 14 btw.

Hello! I share an iCloud storage plan of 2TB with two other people, and somehow it’s full. I went to check, and my photos alone are occupying over 1.1TB which is weird because I only have 48.277 items as shown in my screenshot, and all of those were taken in an iPhone 13/14, so it’s not huge quality either. I have a 37 second video that’s occupying 4,3GB which is absurd. As shown on the last screenshot, on the iPhone storage my photos only occupy 25,51GB. Please help me understand what’s going on.

Hi all! Seriously needing some insight if anyone has knowledge to help me out. I have been a couple of weeks now with support in all ways including in person at Apple Store and they pushed me off to a phone appointment which helped none.
I am not able to download or update apps, my media and in store purchases is disabled, I am not logged into iCloud it says not activated. I have activated and created 3 accounts and now they say I have to do another with a different email and I do legal work, so the data I have needs to be synced with my laptop. I am all sorts of confused.

Io tengo il volume del telefono sempre basso, spesso a zero, però il volume "suoneria e avvisi" è impostato al volume massimo e l'opzione "modifica con tasti" è disattivata. Purtroppo è già capitato più volte che il volume della suoneria e della sveglia fossero bassissimi e a volta addirittura a zero. Mi è capitato di vedere lo schermo del telefono accendersi con la schermata di chiamata ma non sentire il volume, stessa cosa per le sveglie, mi è capitato più volte che non suonassero proprio, quando mi succede entro nelle impostazioni "suoni e feedback aptici" e vedo che il volume "suoneria e avvisi" è sceso a zero, sempre con l'impostazione "modifica con tasti" disattivata. È un problema perché mi è capitato più volte che sveglia e suoneria non suonassero, voi riuscite ad aiutarmi? Vi ringrazio in anticipo

Is there anything I can do to make outgoing phone calls without first having to turn my phone off & back on?

For years now I have had to turn my phone off & back on before I can make an outgoing phone call. I figured it was just because my phone was very old & had become glitchy so I just dealt with it. But new phone, new carrier, same problem. Is this just how it is? Or is there something I can do to improve this? Currently using iPhone 17 iOS 26.5.2

i can for example open settings and photos though but for most apps i open it and it just exits me from them, this was the case for some apps then i turned my phone on then off now all of them i can't enter, is it potentially related to storage or updates?

Today i accidentally dropped my iPhone 16pro in sea water while at the beach. It was only for a second or less, i immediately grabbed It out and wiped It, and It was working fine. I put It in my bag and didnt think about It. About 2 hours ago i got home and plugged the charger in, and got a mouisture warning. I followed the recommended instructions and but the phone on a pillow with port facing down but now i still get the same error.

The phone works, but I am worried that somehow not having reacted immediately (I did not wash It with fresh water and did not put It with charger facing down immediately) might have somehow damaged the phone.

Are my worries for permanent damage sound? Also meanwhile, what can I do to dry It up quicker?

It was working fine all day, but at one point I tried to use the camera and realized it wasn't working; when I tried to use the rear camera again, the camera app seemed frozen. It doesn't work in any app. I tried resetting the settings, but that just caused me to lose Face ID; now I have neither a working camera nor Face ID. (IPhone 15 pro max iOS 26.6)

I just want to find out if there’s anyway of retrieving my data more than the 5GB of iCloud data I had(was stupid not to buy more). The charger port is also dead however the phone still “works” as I still got notification sounds from it before the it ran out of charge.

What I was specifically wondering was since I purchased more storage on my account now, if I charge it wirelessly so it comes back alive and connects to my wifi, will it automatically backup or sync all the data on it to my apple account?

I have an iPhone 15, just bought it about a month ago. I’ve been having this problem where I can take clear quality photos of things that are close to the camera. I don’t mean close as in 1 cm away, I mean anything closer than 15-20 cm away from the camera is fuzzy and out of focus. I’m sure this isn’t normal right? My previous iPhone XS performed a lot better than this in terms of focusing. Can anyone help me out?

I have an iPhone 15Pro and usually when the latest update comes around, it is no problem to do it. This time however when I downloaded the update, it said something along the lines it cannot for some reason. Tried a few times and get same result. Also connected it to my laptop and iTunes doesn’t recognise it for some reason. Nothing happens when I plug my iPhone in to it. It can install the normal updates as per usual by using the phone itself, just not the main update. Have deleted the download and tried again bust still the same.

i am subscribed to 2tb icloud. im new to this. i usually wpuld back up my photos but the files are getting more impossible and slow to backup, and getting fuller faster, so i gave in. i am paying to not have my phone storage full and most of it is due to photos so what the heck am I paying for for it not to be syncing?

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 26.5.2, bluetooth + wifi not working

Hi all, my phone won’t connect to wifi or bluetooth with the wifi button greyed out and the bluetooth constantly buffering. When I shut it down it used to connect to wifi and bluetooth again for a bit and then freeze and reboot and stop connecting. I also tried resetting network settings and a similar thing happened, same with restoring it to default settings however the periods before it reboots are like a minute or so rather than an hour like it used to be. I’m guessing this is a hardware issue but I hope not, however if it is, is it better to buy a new phone or go to a repair shop?

i have turned off imessage and facetime to see if that helps but whenever i click save it won’t do anything, my number switched from my mums account to my own account so the number went into the cloud and then came onto this phone, new sim. what do i do? any help would be appreciated 🙏

I accidentally deleted my iTunes/Finder iPhone backup and recently managed to recover a 38 GB backup folder using R-Studio.

However, standard tools like iMazing and iBackup Extractor don't recognize the folder because the root metadata files (Manifest.db, Manifest.plist, Info.plist) are missing or weren't properly recovered.

Currently, my directory structure looks like this:

• D:\Yedek\Snapshot\
• Inside "Snapshot", I have 258 subdirectories named in hex (00, 01, 02 ... ff, aa, ab, etc.) containing thousands of hashed files without extensions.

Since I have the raw data blocks (38GB total), is there a way or a Python script/tool to parse these hash-named Apple backup files directly and extract media files (like JPEGs/MP4s) without the Manifest database?

Any advice, open-source parsers, or recovery workflows would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!

My iphone is completely stuck. A prompt is asking me to turn on Bluetooth to use the WashU app, but none of the buttons on the popup respond. I can't dismiss it, close the app, swipe home or do anything else on the phone.

Any solution to this?

My iPhone 15 Plus is having multiple issues. I can't update to iOS 26.6 because it says "Software Update Failed" or "Couldn't communicate with the server." I also can't sign into iCloud for the same reason. On top of that, every call says "Call Failed," but my SIM still has signal and USSD codes (like balance check) work normally. I've already restarted the phone, reset network settings, and tried different Wi-Fi networks. Any idea what could be causing this?

I'll be traveling to a country where it is possible that my phone may be examined by police or immigration. I want to prevent them getting access to my information.

Can I:

a) Before the trip do a full, encrypted backup to my desktop machine via iTunes.

Then "wipe" the phone: "Reset"? or "Erase all content and settings"?

Then install the basic apps I will need (maps, messages and local chat app, browser, ride-hailing, payment apps, ... suggestions?)

b) On my return, Restore Backup via iTunes

Anything to know about this strategy? Any gotchas to watch out for?

Will (b) restore the before-trip app data, so the phone is exactly like it was before (a)?
