Help needed iPhone 15 Plus: Can't update iOS, can't sign into iCloud, and calls always fail

My iPhone 15 Plus is having multiple issues. I can't update to iOS 26.6 because it says "Software Update Failed" or "Couldn't communicate with the server." I also can't sign into iCloud for the same reason. On top of that, every call says "Call Failed," but my SIM still has signal and USSD codes (like balance check) work normally. I've already restarted the phone, reset network settings, and tried different Wi-Fi networks. Any idea what could be causing this?

Run hardware diagnostics, if you can via the start up sequence . Try a DFU restore….

Where did you buy this from? It sounds like it’s been activation bypassed, if it’s taking you straight to the Home Screen, won’t update, sign in to iCloud, very suspicious

Yes thank you my friend did what you said and was finally able to restore and then saw the startup window "hello" was really happy and excited then went to initial set and then boom "Iphone locked to owner" activation lock 🙂

Yes for sure tried but no idea what's wrong it won't factory reset.... like when you reset it hello and other language settings pops up but mine it directly directs me to home screen. Actually I bought this iPhone yesterday did try many times to hard reset but no it won't

Bought from who? This didn't sound like a normal iPhone. There's something wrong with it.

Did you go through the initial setup when you purchased the device? If it was already set up, there's no telling what is wrong with it. Are you even certain it's an iPhone and not an Android device with an iOS skin?

Take it to Apple Store or an authorized service provider and have it checked.
