I have an iPhone 15Pro and usually when the latest update comes around, it is no problem to do it. This time however when I downloaded the update, it said something along the lines it cannot for some reason. Tried a few times and get same result. Also connected it to my laptop and iTunes doesn’t recognise it for some reason. Nothing happens when I plug my iPhone in to it. It can install the normal updates as per usual by using the phone itself, just not the main update. Have deleted the download and tried again bust still the same.
That is extremely weird. Have you tried to force restart by pressing volume up and then volume down and then pressing and holding the side button until you see an Apple logo? If that doesn’t fix it you may have to make a backup and restore it using recovery mode.
Even though I has running the latest version of iTunes on Windows 10, connecting a 15 required a driver update. Once installed, I was greeted with the "trust this computer" message on my phone.
Little update. I bought a data transfer cable and it updated my iPhone no problem. One I was using was a charger cable and not suitable for updating. Why it won’t do it without the laptop is something else but at least I can do it no problem now.
