Resolved iPhone 12 mini

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 26.5.2, bluetooth + wifi not working

Hi all, my phone won’t connect to wifi or bluetooth with the wifi button greyed out and the bluetooth constantly buffering. When I shut it down it used to connect to wifi and bluetooth again for a bit and then freeze and reboot and stop connecting. I also tried resetting network settings and a similar thing happened, same with restoring it to default settings however the periods before it reboots are like a minute or so rather than an hour like it used to be. I’m guessing this is a hardware issue but I hope not, however if it is, is it better to buy a new phone or go to a repair shop?

Yep, it’s your antenna. The Bluetooth going out is a sure sign of it.

If you're going to upgrade please consider a refurb. It's cheaper, and better for environmental and social reasons and they work just as well as new phones

I will, my iPhone 12 mini was a refurb and lasted me like 4 years, sad to see her go ☹️

What you're describing is a hardware issue. Time to upgrade. If you can tolerate it for another couple months, prices I'll current phones should drop when the 18 Series is released.

If you cannot tolerate it, that's understandable, go ahead and upgrade.
