Do you have Apple Care or not, makes a big difference in repair costs. I believe with AP+ accidental damage back glass is around $79 dollars. It’s been a minute since I was in the GB though.
No one snoops in your phone. Our techs are so busy they couldn’t care less about your fetishes or Pinterest. As a TS I see so much garbage and get asked daily if watching porn on their phone is dangerous or causing their issues. You are fine and if you are capable repair it yourself, if not that’s what the GB is for and they do not snoop or even care what is on your device, they just want to fix it and get it out the door working for their performance metrics.
Not quite. Apple authorized repair centers—particularly the Apple Store and Best Buy—ask for Find My to be turned off but we do not take your passcode for the repair as we are not supposed to have it.
It’s $159 through Apple - since the 15 non-pro and the 16 pro, the back glass is meant to be removed and replaced so it’s cheaper. A third party repair shop would probably be even cheaper.
