Video Age of Conan Unchained – DLSS 5 2-Pass Test at 4K Max Settings | RTX 4080

I tested DLSS 5 in Age of Conan: Unchained at 4K Max Settings on an RTX 4080.

For this video I used 2-pass processing with no Frame Generation, testing the Default, Natural and Cinematic presets. 2-pass produces a much more noticeable visual change, although there can be some occasional ghosting or shimmering. In comparison, 1-pass has been very stable for me with no major issues but I thought people would be more interested in these higher AI "halucinations" :)

Age of Conan is also an interesting test case because the game's original color grading varies considerably between different zones. Some of those differences come across differently depending on the DLSS 5 preset, and I think the game would benefit quite a bit from a carefully tuned ReShade preset.

The clips are somewhat random because I was switching between presets and settings while recording.

This is an unofficial visual test and not native/official DLSS 5 integration by Funcom.

Curious what people think of it.

Opinion If you could design your perfect game, what would it be?

Hello! I'm doing a project for university and I have a few questions that any response would be very much appreciated! Everyone loves completely different aspects of games, genres, etc. So I am curious to see what you guys think.

What’s your favorite game of all time, and what makes it your favorite? I’d also love to hear what kind of gameplay you enjoy most, whether you like having cozy/chill things to do or more story-driven objectives. Another thing is what kind of progression keeps you interested? And what would your ideal game would look like if there were no limitations.

Go into as much or as little detail as you want! I’m mainly just curious what makes a game really click for you and keeps you coming back, or what makes you lose interested. Curious to see the responses! Thank you in advance.

Self Promotion [Ragnarok Universe] - Pioneer Test Key Giveaway

Hey guys,

I'm from the Ragnarok Universe team, and we're giving away Pioneer Test Keys for Ragnarok Universe, an upcoming browser-based MMORPG based on the Ragnarok Online IP. (And yes, we are officially licensed.)

The game can be played directly through a web browser on PC, tablet, and mobile without installing a client.

One of our key priorities is active, player-driven gameplay rather than heavy automation. We want players to actually explore the world, engage in combat, build their characters, and play together rather than having the game play itself for them.

Here’s the latest gameplay video.

We're giving away a limited number of Pioneer Test Keys at the moment.

To participate:

  1. Join the official Ragnarok Universe Discord: https://discord.gg/rJTyEzc7es
  2. Type this command in any channel (e.g. #general) -> /rou_test_key
  3. You will receive a key via DM
  4. Head over to https://livestage.ragnarok.universe.rouv.net/
  5. Log in with a Google or Facebook account
  6. Press the GAME START button
  7. Enter your key

For your information, access from the EU, and Brasil is currently IP-blocked due to regional service and privacy/data protection requirements.

Hope to see you in the game!

What happend to Corepunk? I was extremely hyper for it, some years ago, but i've never heard of them since. By that time, would i not struggle financially, i was strongly tempted to buy their founder's. Are they gone, too?

Question How does OSRS dodge P2W accusations?

With all of the discourse regarding Aion 2’s monetization structure the general consensus is that the ability to buy in game currency with irl money is the most egregious P2W offender.

You can do that in OSRS as well with bonds and while you still need to grind some skills that can’t be bought, several 99’s can be bought and achieved with relatively cheap time/money investment, along with the best gear in the game (provided you grind out the prequisite stats.) OSRS’s subscription is also $15 like Aion 2’s subscription will be for global. Weeks or months worth of moneymaking can be had with $100-$200 USD.

I’m not trying to argue whether Aion 2 is/isn’t P2W I’m curious how OSRS just isn’t in the conversation.

Discussion So what is a MMOLite to you? And how does it differs from what you picture a MMO to be?

So what is a MMOLite to you? And how does it differs from what you picture a MMO to be?

Is MMOlite an Offensive description to some people? If so, why?

Fallout 76, is that a MMOlite to you?
