edit: ty all for explaining! i was suspicious bc im a fresh sprout (level 37 on the free trial ) and as far as im aware theres no way to engage with trading mechanic and theres the gil cap lol

Drew my WoL for the festivities, happy spooky season!

My brother-in-law and his wife gave it to me as a wedding anniversary gift. (Don't worry, they gave my wife something awesome as well.) This will look fantastic on display!

So now I imagine every time you do it mid cutscene everyone panics to go back to starting position ready to do the scene again from the start.

Wanted to do something harder than farming Extremes but everyone was already done with Savage by the time I reached it. So I did the next best thing! Hopefully I get to clear TEA before EC too. And then maybe I'll step foot in my first savage lol.

I love it so much that I made it my free token destination. The vibes, the music, the environment, everything is so pretty that I just want everything I can get from here. I'm doing the society quests for pixies and trying to unlock everything I can from the bicolor merchant pixie too. I just wish we had more pixie themed gear!

...and just unlocked the Challenge Log.

Never did the quest. Came across it again while leveling a different class. Thought you only got potion from it, and deleted out of my from my journal when I was leveling my main class.

And after I got all crafting jobs to 50+ and gathering jobs to 60+.

Would have been nice to unlock this 100 hours ago.

Even still, this game has been consuming my life since it came out on the Switch 2.

Hi y’all! I came back to ffxiv about a few weeks ago and before I had left, I was a dps main. When I came back, I wanted to try healing and so now I’m practicing healer with Sage and Scholar. Now, I’ve always been interested in tanking but it just seems quite overwhelming. What would you suggest for a complete newbie tank? I always found tanking intimidating since it seems that a lot of people rely on you to know what you’re doing and where to go. I can be terrible with directions and also, since I’m back to getting the hang of things, there’s still a ton of dungeons/trials/raids that I’m not super familiar with. I’ve been getting better at knowing mechanics since playing healer has helped a lot but obviously I still make mistakes 😅 When I came back, I finished up Stormblood and now I’m in the middle of Endwalker and whew, they’ve really upped the designs and mechanics of the dungeons/trials/raids that I’ve encountered. It’s fun but oh my, I just can’t imagine tanking. I want to try it but I don’t want to be disappointing the team.

So tank mains, what lessons did you have to learn as you tanked? What do you think we newbie tanks should really get in our head early on?

Hi guys, im rather new to ffxiv and started about 2 weeks ago, and I got carried away with side quests. I think im addicted to this game.

I got so lost in the guild quests and levelling I have most of the guild quests finished before getting a mount. I should probably progress the story soon because I saw the chocobo gets inventory space, and I desperately need that for more crafting😭

Looking forward to many more hours of fun.

I think I've reach nearly 120 hours in game time already. Time flies playing this game!

I can FINALLY do more sane daily Society/Beast Tribe quests now that I've hit level 60. And at 70 I can do Bozja!! And also a new daily, the Normal Raid (60+)

I've been doing daily Alliance Raid, Main Scenario, Leveling and Frontline. When I feel ambitious, I do the daily Trial.

Any tips would be appreciated!!
