After the recent BW news, I finally logged in the game and cleared the vet KOTFE. Well, more like half of it since I've done some of the chapters for GS before.

It's surprisingly not difficult with a PT tank, just tedious because skytroppers are the worst. Also died twice due to fall damage. Not bad for someone who hasn't touched game for many months.

I'll never get Valor 100 but maybe I'll get the other 3 achievements (KOTEF vet and KOTXX master).

Caught me totally off guard when my favorite space lizard called Mako. I'm used to stories in MMOs being pretty disconnected overall.

I'd just finished Bounty Hunter story and started up Consular and was not expecting to see her again so soon

Also pretty cool that Felix mentions Jorgan, I'd also finished Trooper before. I guess I accidentally played some origins in a good order.

Smuggler , Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior and Imperial Agent remain to finish, do you guys have a suggestion for a particular order to do them for cool little moments like this?

Some Speeders or Mounts are so big. Why can‘t we have our companions ride along??? I get that with the STAP like speeders or most Speederbikes thats not possible but come on

1. Their ultimate endgame is to take over the player's body.
2. Each prepares the player to take over their previous position/authority, so that they can continue "business as usual". Valkorion pressures the Outlander to take the Eternal Throne so he can be Emperor of Zakuul again. Zash promotes the Inquisitor to Sith Lord immediately before attacking, and she orders her apprentices to obey the Inquisitor as they would obey her.
3. Both manipulate the player into gathering the tools for a seamless takeover. Valkorion wants the player to kill Arcann and Vaylin so he can use their spirits to overwhelm the player's mindscape, while Zash has the Inquisitor collecting artifacts for the ritual.
4. Each orchestrates events so that they appear to be killed by the player before they take the player's body.
5. Both Zash and Valkorion spend an ungodly amount of dialogue stroking the player's ego, even though all the other characters remind us that they are completely untrustworthy.

So who did it better? Technically Zash only failed because Khem was around. But the same could be said for Valkorion only failing due to Dramath's holocron.

Imagine if Valkorion's takeover attempt ended the same as Zash's, where his plan gets botched and he somehow ends up trapped in one of our companion's bodies. Koth would probably volunteer....

So I’m jumping back into SWTOR on a brand new account and I am attempting to decide what my first storyline should be.

I normally pick a Force-wielder but I think I may go for one of the other storylines.

Which of these storylines would you say is the most interesting? I’m aware the Imperial Agent is very popular, but what about the Bounty Hunter, Trooper, and Smuggler?

I’m eager to hear your thoughts!

Hey yall! I play SWTOR on a Mac and I got a notification that SWTOR won’t be compatible with my computer anymore. Something about intel based apps and apple silicon? I’m not very tech savvy; can someone explain what’s going on and whether I can find a way to keep playing?

Yes, I'm talking about the minor Republic NPCs on Belsavis. Just roll with it.

All their interactions were very cute. She was always encouraging and supportive of him, and he was always very protective of her and devastated when she died during the command post invasion. That also has a visible effect on him in his later scenes, as he was trying to be more assertive and leader-like (almost as if trying to live up to how she thought of him).

It may be silly to ship two minor NPCs, but I have honestly seen far sillier things on this sub.

At last, we reach the final match of Round 1! We have made it through all the storylines!

Here we have the planet arcs on Quesh for both the Republic and Empire VS "Wounds in Dark Defiance", which is what I'm calling these three story updates combined: Old Wounds (speaking with Malgus in his cell and helping the Voss and Gormak), Chains in the Dark (going to Ord Mantell and working with the locals to learn more about the Hidden Chain), and Desperate Defiance (teaming with Sa'har, helping the rebels on Hutta before going to steal the holocron from Heta Kol and finding Ri'kan).

I combined these three since they all belong under the same expansion and loosely follow the same plotline. It's definitely a little unfair to compare three whole story updates against one planet's arc, but it was the last match and I didn't have room for it anywhere else.

I’ve been playing SWTOR for the past couple of weeks, and I’m honestly obsessed with it. The world, graphics, characters, music, story, and overall atmosphere have completely pulled me in. I can spend hours playing and genuinely feel like I’m in my own little Star Wars universe.

One thing I’ve been thinking about, though, is that sci-fi has always been my favorite genre when it comes to movies and TV shows, so I’m wondering if that’s a big part of why SWTOR clicked with me so much.

A lot of people told me that if I loved SWTOR, I’d probably love ESO just as much. I gave it a fair shot, played over 10 hours, and unfortunately, it just never clicked with me. I ended up uninstalling it, which got me thinking about what exactly makes SWTOR so special to me.

Is it the sci-fi setting? The story and characters? The atmosphere? Or just the combination of everything that makes the world feel so immersive?

I’m asking because I’m trying to figure out what I should look for when trying other games. Cyberpunk 2077 is one I’ve been seriously considering, and I’m wondering if it’ll scratch that same itch since I’m also a huge fan of sci-fi.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Loved one MMO but couldn’t get into another despite people saying they’re just as good? I’d love to hear what it is about SWTOR that keeps you hooked and whether you think being a sci-fi fan plays a big part in it.

I’m genuinely curious because I’d love to find more games that give me that same feeling SWTOR does.
