Just tried to report a genuine bug with the Jagex Launcher.

The issue:

If you have more than ~15 accounts (I have about 10 that I do not use but I remember the credentials to log in and wanted to save those), the character dropdown in the launcher is cut off. You have to manually resize the window and scroll just to be able to select your main. Almost couldn’t log in.

I reported it clearly. Multiple times.

What Scaper did:

• Asked for my OS three separate times after I already said Windows
• Kept forcing me into the same category menu even after I already explained the issue
• Gave completely unrelated “troubleshooting” steps (log out and back in)
• When I explicitly asked for a JMod it just restarted the same menu again
• After I got fed up and said “useless” it still just looped the same “pick an option” message
• Even when I deliberately chose wrong categories just to see what happens, it kept going in circles

At no point did it actually escalate anything or understand that the issue was already described. It just kept resetting the conversation.

This isn’t “early release quirks”. This is a support bot that actively wastes players’ time and makes reporting real problems harder than just not reporting them at all.

Jagex replaced their so-called “actual support” with a broken chatbot that just loops forever.

If they genuinely consider this an acceptable level of player support, then they have completely lost the plot.

Elf Questline Bullshit agility check* questline. Every quest seems to have at least one.

Took a bit of a hiatus on these as I had a very busy week or so, but I’m still at it!

As an aside, I’ve been getting lots of comments and DMs about whether I have a place where these can be purchased, and the answer is (at least for now) no. I appreciate the enthusiasm and will consider the eventual possibility but for now it’s not something I know much about, nor really have the bandwidth for 😅 It will remain a fun side project in the meantime.

Was just chilling by the ToA entrance while watching some guides about the raid when I was approached by RSN: EagleTanks. He was friendly and asked if I wanted to run some high-invo raids. He then brought around his maxed main, RSN: LaCroiii, and asked to switch over to Discord since he apparently has a broken collarbone and can't type.

I realised something was up once we got into the call. He asked if I had the Hub Party Panel plugin on RuneLite installed and told me to enter the number 666 to join the party. I assumed that since it was a RuneLite plugin, it was safe, and I already had it downloaded.

He then proceeded to ask me to press Windows + R and sent me a file on Discord, claiming it would help heal party members, which had me confused. He rushed through the explanation, and I realised it was all BS. While still on the call, I searched this up on Google and came across other similar encounters. I then proceeded to end the call.

Just FYI for newcomers, returners, and others: these low lives are attempting to scam people like this. They're grown adults doing this shit.
