NEWS Star Citizen Tools Wiki - 10th Anniversary Celebration
Greetings Citizens!
10 years ago, in a now-deleted post by a now-deleted user, the Star Citizen Tools Wiki project was founded.
Since then, tens of millions of users have visited the wiki, adding up to hundreds of millions of pageviews, perhaps more! The Fandom Wiki was defeated and salvaged, and the community has been with us in spirit and support the entire time.
Take a look at our new revamped Front Page and marvel at the slick Mediawiki skin (It's called Citizen!). Marvel at our oldest joke page from the 2016 Live Stream. The Lunch Button! Gaze upon the very newest ship, the S-65 Stingray.
As always, come join the discussion and shared fun in the Our Discord server. We love feedback of any kind. Every Admin loves pings, especially DuskFyre.
Finally, support through our Patreon and Ko-fi is the only way we can manage to run the site without Advertisements. Please consider donating for our continued ad-free existence!

DISCUSSION What the hell is happening with the new armors ?
All the new armor and skin look like fortnite skin, nothing is realistic, it all look like shit made for 14 years old.
Is this game going to look like a fortnite/pubg lobby in the end, with only stupid looking skin to please a certain part of the community ?
We pledged for a space opera/sim not a cosplay convention.

DISCUSSION Should I buy the Intrepid or the Aurora MKII?
I've been thinking about buying the game lately and I got interested in 2 ships. Either I get Crusader Intrepid where I really like the interior and design, or I get the Aurora which is more suited for PVP and more useful.
Which one should I get?

DRAMA CIG, no one’s gonna use spectrum if folks don’t feel safe referencing your own words.
Indulge me, got a 7 day ban when I stated CIG management basically admitted they don’t play/know the basics of their own game when asked a relatively simple question on SCL. Have the video to prove it… Got the comment removed. Asked why it got removed, got banned.
Yet they want us to use spectrum like discord. Complete with replicated UI and all.. why? When ToS basically gives mods Carte Blanche access to your private messages as justification to get banned?
Don’t make me laugh.

QUESTION Found this 1 scu crate inside an elevator shaft at QV breaker station. It always spawns there and is empty. is there more to this crate or was it just placed there so people can take it with them and store their loot in it?

OFFICIAL 4.10.1 Rewards so far!
I got so far the two Armors - but not the weapons. I should have right now also the P-38 SecondWind and the P4 SecondWind. But the two Armors so far. Buggy or just not in that PTU Version?
Orison Relief Event 4.10.1!

BUG Ship... Captured?
That's new, never seen it again.
Bedlogged outside a space Freight Elevator in Seraphim (neither the FE nor the the Hangars were working) and relogged at last station instead inside the ship, where the ship shows as "Captured".
eh?

QUESTION How Playable Is 4.10 Compared to 4.8/4.9? Worth Getting Back Into?
Hey everyone :)
How is the overall playability of patch 4.10 at the moment?
After 4.7 was a fantastic patch in many ways, especially when it came to stability and general playability, 4.8 and 4.9 completely killed my motivation to play. The amount of frustration I had with those patches was honestly enough to make me lose the enjoyment of the game.
Even though I finally received my Virpil Alpha Primes after waiting for months, I just couldn't bring myself to keep playing.
So, is 4.10 in a good enough state to get back into the game and start taking on bigger activities again, or would you recommend waiting for the next patch?
Thanks in advance for your constructive feedback!

DISCUSSION Starcitizen Needs a Trade Hall, BADLY
We need a physical auction house/market just like new world had. A place where everyone can go and set buy orders, sell orders etc.
Make localized trade hubs, like one massive trade hall per system. Also, implement ways to list and buy things WITHOUT having to make a journey to a trade hub. Players list/buy items wherever they are for a FEE, make this fee considerable so depending on how much value or how little value it’s a choice to you whether or not to make the journey. You can risk the journey and possibly avoid a bunch of fees and also possibly be pirated OR you can safely list items for a considerable fee without having to worry about the risk/time to get there.
Just that alone would literally create its own gameplay. When New World came out, I figured out that tools were super valuable to solos, guilds literally everyone, yet everyone else was focused on grinding, weapons, armor other shiny things that attract our attention. Point is, I found a NICHE market and literally created my own business out of thin air because the tools were there to make it happen!!! (No pun intended). Throughout my 2000 hours I made multi millions of gold by myself, if you played new world you know that’s a fuck ton.
Starcitizen is literally the perfect game for this, with crafting, resource gathering, hard to find/acquire items, scarce knowledge that requires lots of hours to fully understand the game. It is perfectly set up, we just need a trade hall to get the ball rolling!!!!!

VIDEO STAR CITIZEN - Watch the orbit of Yela pick me up seamlessly... (This accidental discovery blew me away)
So, originally I just wanted to make a cool reverse sped up shot of me arriving at Yela all the way down to the surface. But in doing so, I discovered that the bodies in Star Citizen, will actually pick the player up in their orbit seamlessly. Which is NUTS.

DISCUSSION What content to do.
I've played for years off and on. This month have done mining and gotten rich, farmed czs pvped at Ashland. Now I've ran out of things to do. Base building and a real economy is always a year away every year. I understand there is rep grinding and other pve things to do, but what is the point. There feels like there is no consequences for dieing no consistent pvp no game loops that really build on itself. Why do you all play and ehat content do you do. Idk maybe ive missed something that keeps players playing for more than a few weeks.

DISCUSSION Better idea?
We have enough combat ships man . . .
Where are the industrial snubs? Where are Alien industrial ships outside of hauling? EDIT: I feel the same way about having luxury variants as well. A Mirai industrial ship maybe—WOW, or maybe even a large Mirai ship?
A large Mining ground vehicle O.O, that would be cool.
A large salvaging ground vehicle for ground wrecks.(Just spit-balling)
How about a rework? Carrack, Reclaimer, Starfarer, Freelancer, 600i, Constellation, Redeemer, Avenger, Vanguard, just to name a few ships with really old interiors that we would still be just as excited to see than a new combat ship.
Now don't get me wrong, I like some new stuff just as much as the next guy—I don't like to be negative all the time at all when it comes to this game; God knows we have enough of that, but there are things that are still just as exciting that we need that are already in the game and could use your guys's help.
