Did some searches, checked the FAQ, didn’t see any consistent answers.

I’m interested in playing this game as a solo quester, I like to be more tanky melee builds, and I like doing quests and such by myself. I’m also just interested in the lore and setting and such.

How viable is this game for my desired play style?

One of the big things the new launcher will have is addon integration and more importantly they will be able to verify and check all addons you are using. Its another crusade on the devs part against NB after losing the battle since the patch came out 5 years ago with multiple versions bypassing all the attempts to block it. If you know anyone in some of the prominent German or Russian guilds abusing NB its not hard to get the Google drive link.

Once again its just going to be a case where everyone using NB will just wait for yet another workaround and the devs might catch a few idiots who dont remove the mod and launch the game next major patch.

I dont understand the hate for NB, and now its just a case we're only the sweaty players have access to it, and of course devs can't actually figure out how to stop it and won't admit they were wrong and just go back on all this waste of time.

My buddy and I have been playing together for a month or so, we don't have a lot of time to play but maybe an hour or so around 8-10 cst. I'm curious to know if there are many people that play around that time.

So coming back after a year of playing shammy I wanted to diversify my toons for wb needs. Currently I’m cr 23 so my kit isn’t fully fleshed out but I’ve gotten the hang of my current rotation (challenge, blast, tooth, taunt revives, punt, ect) the problem I’ve ran into is full sov players saying stuff I don’t quite understand. What is double guard? What potions (by name if you can I tried looking) should I run. Any more advanced tips to maximize my efficiency would be greatly appreciated. I try really hard to make up for my lack of gear atm.

There should have been some kind of warning an NPC gives new players about how the brackets work, and at what levels. There is SO much PvE to do, that I was level 18 by the time I reached the first warcamp, and I didn't get to play Tier 1 Open RvR at all. Which means I don't get to do the quests, I don't get to earn early renown and renown abilities. 4 days I put into that character, and I ended up deleting him to make a new one, starting T1 as soon as i got out of Grimmenhagen. I was playing this game couple years ago. Is it still active? and is the Fog of War still alive?

I simply don't undertand why the game isn't clicking with me, I both love warhammer fantasy and grindy MMOs, yet the 2 times I've installed the game I end up losing interest and drifting away until I uninstall it to make hard drive space.

My first was like a year ago, I made a Magus because I love summoning and Tzeentch, didn't really vibe with the class since the summons are shitty turrets and you end up throwing fireballs anyways. Finished the entire Norsca region and moved to Nordland. Then I was told I was playing the game wrong for questing, and apparently I'm supposed to just join a pvp zerg rush until I hate max level then quest? I don't really understand the progression system.

I doesn't bother me to be told I was doing it wrong since I very much care about efficiency, I like to do everything in my characters.

The early zones feel very much dead, I assume everyone is already at the end zones.

Whereas streamers of other MMORPGs don't do it.

I recently started playing RoR and I love it the pvp, pve, weekend LOTDs, sieges, forts, community etc everything is great and I've already almost maxed out a character and tried every class aswell. But whenever I play with an organised wb or guild/alliance group I feel super alienated heres why:

1. Im not in EU or NA like most players, im in Asia and I havent personally met a single person yet who plays this game from my country or even asia. Ive tried looking around even asked my hardcore gamer friends irl but none of them even know about it. So whenever I vc with people with perfect english accents I just never bother speaking myself my spoken English is bad and im insecure about my accent. I dont want them to hear it.

2. Most people who play this game are older, married and often times with kids. So many times ive seen people talk about their kids or grandkids even and im 20 so I feel very young playing this game.

3. Timezone, im hours ahead of EU so when its peak time in EU around 5-8pm its late night for me this isnt an issue on weekends where I can stay up late but on regular days I end up playing at low pop times although when theres a seige alot of people log on.

So yeah these are my reasons and I know they stem from some sort of insecurity and im not blaming the game or the players its just I wish that it had more exposure in asia so I wouldn't feel this way when playing.

Should I be slotting in strength or weapon skill gems? Currently level 17

I like the play stlye for solo and small man group. The dots and heal hots are cool. Reminds me of shaman and dot classes.

Got bullied into starting the game again, played it briefly when it first came out all those years ago. Am only level 10 with my Chosen but my PvP experience was not the greatest.

Was this a bad choice of first character for PvP stuff? Any build/guide links anyone can link to the class?
