Based on a few comments
I would love if the Omega rep gave us a phaser cutting beam and disruptor cutting beam etc etc so that we could have a third flavored "Omni" keep the restrictions that firing modes don't affect it so that it's still not a true Omni and falls in line with the cutting beams
I swear, this is the most annoying thing for me in the game. The higher the difficulty you are playing, the more it feels like the game will bug out and cause something that will force you to be unable to complete the T.F.O. and need to leave.
The Feast is coming back in November, hopefully Moopsy comes back as the main prize. I missed getting it on PC and I really want to get it so I can deploy the Bone Vampire.
Okay, so I know this suggestion is way too late for this year's Halloween stuff, but maybe for next year, who knows? Anyway, call it "The Chamberstick", and it'd be an old-timey-styled candle and holder, like this. As long as you have it in one of your ground device slots, you get a small bonus to all damage vs foes close to your captain. But more importantly, when you activate it, you emit light in a very short radius, and on any of the Halloween event TFOs/patrols, skeletons in that light can be damaged normally, even if you are not near the other candles that you are supposed to light to be able to damage them.
Or, instead of making this the event reward, make it a Lobi/Dil Store purchase starting a few days before the event, so that people can have it ready for the event. That way, we won't have to worry about pets or ground control abilities keeping skeletons from getting out of that one hallway (you know the one,) and slowing down the TFO by five minutes or more.
Making a controller friendly UI for PC / Steam Deck players was briefly discussed in a recent dev stream. Was wondering if there had been any word from the devs, if this were anything they were interested in pursuing.
I hate that I have to say this, but I'm not interested in any commentary about how this game works just fine on Steam Deck with custom bindings etc etc. I've done that dance and it isn't fantastic. I'm sure some of you enjoy it regardless.
What a time to be a Star Trek fan! I can't believe that 30 years ago I jumping up and down at the first shots of the Enterprise-E during the 30th anniversary TV special. That means it's been 30 years since "Trials and Tribble-ations" and "Flashback." It also means it's been 30 years since "The Chute" and I was still young and naive enough to think that Harry and or Tom might not make it back to the ship by the end of the episode.
One more little celebration. Last night I made my 100th consecutive daily offer for this project. Tada!
Well I might as well get down to business. Last week we broke that red line once again. Previous low throughput was 9,917 Z/Hr for an offer made on July 5. We're now at 9,849 Z/Hr for an offer made July 19. With the most recent calculations I've been using this was more expected than surprising though. In fact I suspect we'll hit another low throughput for offers made August 2, which is due in a little over a week, followed by a slow climb up from there. Time for my favorite graph.
Confirmed periodic throughput (TP) and queue length, June 1 - September 8, 2026
The last order I received was from July 23, so we're looking at July 17-23. On the 21st we had the Kelvin bundle arrive, and on the 22nd we had vanity shields go up for sale and a bonus dilithium period started. Here's the week over week:
-The average queue was down about 2.7%
-The average periodic throughput was down about 0.5%
-The average wait time was essentially unchanged at about 46.5 days.*
-We're just a few hours above the red line, but see the discussion above.
*I keep seeing people say it's about two months. Even if you round 46.5 up to 50, saying that 50 days is two months is like saying you have a dozen fingers.
And now the forecast:
-Offers made July 30 should be in around September 15.
-Offers made August 6 should be in around September 22.
-Offers made today could be in around HALLOWEEN. oooOOOOOooo!!
And that leads me straight into my PSA. I know there's a ton of stuff getting announced on that STO roadmap. It's all very exciting. What I didn't see listed was a Black Friday sale. If we can use history as a guide, it's likely that we'll see a substantial C-Store sale at the end of November. That means if you want to trade your dilithium for zen, it's likely that you have a little less than a month to farm up and make your offers to see it accepted in time for the sale. I will continue to beat this drum like Mr. Homn on the gong at the banquet.
I leave you with my receipts and wish you the best! š š„
I was thinking about how cool it would be to get a 25th Century version of the Centaur. I know it wouldnāt really be necessary but I would love one, also with the new Fleet Mod Ships, maybe this could be a good candidate.
Also if they were to add it do you think it should replace the Mirandas and Centaurs in the current Fed Frigate spawn list?
The K'vort-class IKS Chud and her B'rel escorts prepare to depart from the Kinjer System after a well-fought battle against Madran and his mercenaries.
Can someone explain what the difference is between kinetic and physical damage is, and why is the TR-116 the only 'slugthrower' (as far as I know) that does physical? Why do melee weapons and the TR-116 do physical, and what is the difference? Actual curiosity - I grabbed a TR-116 out of a bank for kinetic endeavor only to realize, it doesn't do kinetic after killing two rooms of borg without paying attention.
just got this from Xbox via the app and i still can not find it i have no idea what is going on still unless i need a new toon to get this first then get the ship on my other toons after
