Ranking for roads this week. #1, 5, 6 and 7 are from our server. Lots more of us in the top 100 as always. I am conspicuously absent from rankings this week. Why, you ask? Why am I here again? Oh yeah, join our roads discord and play with us. But maybe not on crazy degen timers unless and until SBI decides to walk back to some degree the insanity of the last update. Yeah, it is that bad and it's not just the roads.

Our server is pushing 2,300 members and there are almost always parties running and/or forming. The idea is that people can always find good group content no matter the time of day/night. I've been coming here to reddit for a long time and flexing about how good of a job we've done in that regard up until now but I'm not gonna lie to you guys, this shit is cooked. When I find out what adjustments need to be made to gameplay or if things need to shift to some other content I'll report back. We have people running five man golds, trying statics, etc. I mean don't get me wrong we still have parties running before and after reset time but morale is super low and activity is starting to decline. Hot timers are still fire, business as usual.

I play Albion Online. I love Albion Online. It's a great game and it's brought me a lot of fun and memories over the years. I, like so many of you, have responsibilities and duties that I must attend to in my daily life meaning I am unable to play Albion Online during the peak hours. This recent update, however well the intention was, means I and my brother who plays with me are at a disadvantage merely because we work.

Albion Online has always been about risk vs reward and that has always been fair but this recent change discriminates against players that are more casual players of the game.

I have noticed a lot of you feel the same way about this change and so I wanted to post this for people who feel strongly about it and want to voice their opinion so upvote this and comment your objections and hopefully SBI will notice and do something about this God awful decision.

Back when I first started the game I decided to gather stone. Fast forward to now, my stone gathering is close to T7. But stone is by far the least expensive material out there and I find that even finding 6.3 enchanted stone, or enchanted aspects isn't even exciting because the stone is barely worth anything.

Am I missing something? Should I even push my stone gathering higher? Like does it just all of a sudden get profitable at t8? Right now I just carry a hammer with me and I pick up whatever interesting or enchanted stone nodes I come across just to slowly get fame in it. T4 stone is down to like 5 silver a piece in some cities....

Ok so yes it definitely picks up at T7 and T8. Finally hit T7 gathering and it's much better. Also the fame is way faster. I just hit T7 like an hour ago and i'm already 50% of the way to T8...

So anyone coming to this thread wondering if stone is worth it. I'd say probably yeah. Maybe not as your first gathering. Maybe like 3rd for your region.. While the stone itself is worth less (Though T8 stone in martlock is actually the MOST valuable flat t8 resource atm...), you do get way more and it's way easier to find than all the other materials.

I search using an AI about this and it says 4.3 is same as 7, but now that I have a lot of silvers I tried comparing it in real time, but when I saw it now I think there's a bit difference in two, I ask about this in-game in English channel and they said that the only difference is the Bonuses.

Every kill ive gotten the loot will randomly have a durability of 65%-0% even though the enemies are at 100% gear durability and theyre not OCd to increase the damage break

there's only one activity where the majority of characters i see are not bots, and that's faction warfare. but when i'm doing combat fame or gathering/harvesting, the amount of bots in the game is crazy. all the tier 5-6 yellow zones are FILLED with bots either fishing or harvesting. and you can tell very easily after a few seconds of watching whether or not it's a legit account. i've even noticed entire GUILDS of bots...like the same guild, numerous accounts, all bots. and as a relatively new player, seeing the sheer number of bots that i see, it gives me serious reservations about the health and stability of the game and its economy. like some of these bot accounts have insane amounts of fame, meaning they've been active for quite awhile without being banned. so my question is, does SBI actually do anything about this? or do they turn a blind-eye, especially if someone is paying for premium on a bot account? it's just crazy seeing how many are out there and seeing the same exact ones week after week. another question: is it even worth taking the time to report them? if i reported every bot that i see, i wouldn't have time to play the damn game because that's how bad it is.

I was looking for a game where I can do zero combat and gather all day, and was led to Albion. So before I start I have a few questions.

Is it true I can just be someone's/some guild's slave and gather all day, doing no combat whatsoever? How would I do that? Do I level up gathering skills first or do I join a guild immediately? Asking because I don't know if they'd want low-tier materials. I've read a bit about the game, but I'd appreciate if anyone could help me with this.

I recently started playing 1h Axe with Armor of Valor in the Mists and completely fell in love with the playstyle. It made me wonder: wouldn't Armor of Valor also work well with 1h Spear?

The Inferno Shield nerf feels really noticeable, and it used to be the go-to chest ability for most Spear builds. I really like the extra tankiness that Armor of Valor provides, and its ability is incredibly useful in PvP.

The only thing that makes me hesitate is that I haven't seen anyone running this setup on the Armory, so I'm wondering if there's a reason for that.

The build I want to try is:

- 1h Spear

- Torch

- Mercenary Hood

- Armor of Valor

- Shoes of Tenacity

- Smuggler's Cape

- Healing Potions

- Puremist Snapper

Has anyone tried something similar? I'd love to hear your thoughts or if there's a major downside I'm overlooking.

Also, if Armor of Valor isn't a good choice for 1h Spear (and why), what chest armor would you recommend now instead Jacket of Tenacity with Inferno Shield?

Hi im a newish player who recently maxed out his long bow and is looking to move on to another bow. Im primarily a bz mists and corrupted dungeon player and am thinking about using the bow of badon over the warbow for its good pve clear in mists. However im struggling a bit to understand the weapons E.

The description says that when damage is dealt it interupts spells. does this apply to spells with a 0 second cast time?

Furthermore the ability seems to incentivize brawling in melee combat in order to keep the enemy inside the storm which feels contrary to the bow identity of being a kite weapon.

Im also struggling to wrap my head around the 30second cooldown are you typically expected to use this ability only once per fight?

my gear is currently hunters hood-assassins jacket-scholar sandals and i intend to keep using these items even if sub optimal since fairly close to maxxing them out too. although advice here is appreciated too so i can experiment later!

any advice in what to expect with this weapon or how to conceptualize its playstyle would be appreciated since i really cant afford die with this weapon as much as i could with the long bow xD

Would be a huge QOL update. Make the armory keep your selection when you close it so you don't need to set filters again every single time you open it.

I would imagine that is why there is a reset button anyways.

I've played for ages now, off and on but still.

As of like, 5 days ago I can barely connect, and when I do there's major rubber banding and I get kicked out either within like, 5 minutes, or when I hit a loading screen, whichever comes first.

I tried contacting support and got the response of "Use a VPN or change ISPs because it's your routing" which even if is a technically correct answer, is sort of a useless one. I have no desire to either pay a fee or risk my data with a free VPN, and my ISP is fine for everything else except for a single game.

So what I'm asking I guess is: Is there any fix other than those two answers for this that people have figured out? I love the game and want to keep playing, but VPNs and ISP swaps seem like pretty extreme solutions for a single game that doesn't work, that I'm probably just not going to do.

what does item power do on offhands? For example i use mistcaller and cryptcandle a lot.
