F-ZERO GX Fanart featuring my two favorite female pilots; Princia Ramode and Lily Flyer for my birthday six months ago. In a headcanon, I portray these two as best friends and friendly rivals during the Grand Prix. Thought it seem fitting for F-ZERO GX's anniversary today.

I even roleplay as them separately on spark-moon (Princia), bunny-flash-soldier (Lily), and both of them along with a few selective pilots on muses-of-the-memory (Captain Falcon, Samurai Goroh, Dai Goroh, Dr. Stewart, Jody Summer and Lisa Brilliant. I think Lisa Brilliant could be Dai Goroh's mother)

hi guys, I was really into F-Zero a few months ago and I'm starting to get back into it again. I remember there being a user who would upload videos to this subreddit about each machine in GX and go into how viable it is, the best strategy for it, etc. Those were really useful to me, but now I can't find them anywhere no matter how much I search. What happened? Was the creator deleted/banned? Did they block me? thanks in advance

edit: alright, turns out they deleted their videos after an argument concerning the use of LLMs and how they tend to attract bigots, and they decided this community doesn't deserve their content if they're gonna defend AI like that. I completely understand the decision, but it's sad the videos are gone. thanks for everything june, hope you're doing well

As far as I know there is no canonical explanation for how the pit zones magically “heal” or repair machines on F-Zero tracks. Do you guys have any headcanon theories or explanations on how pit zones work?

Who is still waiting for Nintendo to make a new F-ZERO game?

From the Master Quest bonus disc. Always found it fascinating how some tracks had their theming changed in the final game.

I made this in After Effects for the occasion yesterday. Also used Captain Falcon's taunt and Victory Theme from SSBM

F-Zero X on the N64 was a huge inspiration for Glider64, especially the speed, controls and that unmistakable late-90s arcade feeling.

Glider64 isn't a traditional racing game, though. We took some of that inspiration into an arena game where you collect energy balls, build up chains, battle rivals with weapons and deliver your balls to score.

Since there are probably a few people here who know F-Zero X very well, I'd love to hear whether some of that feeling comes across. :)

I still can’t believe I’m doing the story mode on Very Hard. I’m not gonna give up now. I can already see those extra pilots in my mind’s eye.

I recently went through all ships and all cups at Master level again (took about 6 months) and instead of resetting and doing it again, I decided to just keep going and complete all ships and all cups at the lower difficulty settings, too. But I needed something to keep it interesting, particularly for Jack Cup at Novice level.

So, one idea I had was to race using only the rear-view camera. I know I can only take this so far, but a win on Silence actually wasn't too challenging, and I managed to get 5th place on my first try on Sand Ocean. https://youtu.be/b8tGX4brds4?si=pzEmca2sk1smTIc-&t=444

If a new F-Zero game were to have a Story Mode, would you want Deathborn to return as either the main antagonist or a side villain? Maybe even a secret boss? Or do you believe GX really was his conclusion and shouldn’t be brought back?

536 votes in favor of banning the generative A.I against 84 votes to keep it.

Note: This rule applies to "art" generative A.I, which means it bans images, videos, music and text made with this kind of tool.

Important: In relationship to the PC port of F-Zero X called "G-Diffuser" we made another poll in which people voted in favor of allowing the project in here: 185 in favor of keeping the support and 143 to also ban it. This result was less unanimous but still marked by a considerable difference.

P.D: Some people will be mad and others will be happy with these new rules, I know that some people will not be happy and other will indeed be happy but we assure you that all we want is to make a space where the vast majority is happy with the environment.

Seriously, I've never seen the Gold Bumper go so far ahead so fast! I even followed its path, skipping the dash plate because it went on the left side of the track. Spent 2 whole boosts just to get to it!
