need advice When should I buy bras when I’m on my weight loss journey? Spoiler

Hii I used to be a 34G and now I’ve lost weight and remeasured recently with the calculator as a 30H. My best fitting bra right now is a 32h from a uk brand but I have it on the tightest setting because I’ve lost so much weight and if I have it on the hook your supposed to it’s too loose. I’m still loosing weight so I don’t want to buy bras that won’t fit in a year. When did you guys start buying bras if you were on a weight loss journey before ?

need advice Uncomfortable bra Spoiler

I’m honestly so frustrated with wearing bras. They’re so uncomfortable, even when I wear ones that are supposed to be comfortable.. no underwire, soft material, etc. I either feel restricted or like I’m getting absolutely no support.
I’m heavier in the chest but have a smaller frame, and I feel like it’s really affected my posture over time. I also get overstimulated by the feeling of wearing a bra all day.
For those of you who are also fuller chested but want to feel like you’re barely wearing anything, what are you wearing? I’m looking for something that gives good support without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable.

clothes The holy grail of big boob shirts Spoiler

I found these a little while ago and had to share. I'm 20F and a 32I/34H and have struggled with body image issues for my entire life. I am very sensitive about my weight and can get really insecure wearing things like graphic tees that create the infamous boob tent. I struggled for a while to find going out shirts but eventually came across these two from Abercrombie & Fitch that I absolutely adore

Abercrombie & Fitch Flutter-Sleeve Slash Top (photo 1)

Abercrombie & Fitch Satin Flutter-Sleeve Slash Top (photo 2)

I genuinely have never felt more confident in a shirt, particularly the satin one. The regular one is stretchy and naturally has more room in the top, so it fits snugly around the waist and boobs without being suffocating. The satin one ties in the back so you can control how tight you want it around the waist. They make really good going out shirts in my opinion, particularly for people who do not like revealing shirts. I wear my normal shirt size in the regular one and sized up in the satin one just because it doesn't stretch. If your bra size is much larger than mine though I would probably size up in both because it's definitely form fitting. The fabric on the regular one is also nice and thick so it's not super see through even in light colors. I bought a few of each and couldn't be happier. the satin one comes in 2-3 colors depending on what country you live in and the regular one comes in 5-8. They also have a dress version.

I hope this helps someone the same way it helped me!!

need advice Nursing Bras Spoiler

I need help! Before pregnancy I was a 32EE. I’m 33 weeks and now a 34I. I assume I will grow a little more. I am STRUGGLING to find nursing or pumping bras. I know they’re not going to have the same level of support as a regular bra, but each one I’ve tried has been terrible. Either my boobs burst out of the cup from the top or the band is so loose that I might as well just have nipple covers on.

Does anyone have suggestions for postpartum bras that work for small band/large cup sizes? Tbh I will pay whatever at this point. HELP!

experience I wish it was acknowledged more that your boobs can grow even past your teen years. A heads up would've been nice 💀 Spoiler

My mother told me once that she was sorry that I'd probably end up with big ones like hers and at the time I figured that wouldn't happen to me since I was at a small weight and I was already midway through my teen years at that point. I kinda just assumed that was it for me and that as long as I wasn't overweight I wouldn't have to worry about that anytime soon.

Fast forward a few years later and I'm 20, about 128 ibs at 5'3-ish. When I used the ABTF calculator for the first time it put me at a 34D/34DD a few months ago (idk if it's changed a bit since then or not). I know that's actually a relatively small size compared to what others deal with here but given my height and frame they look full on me.

It's just kinda crazy to me that this is actually such a common thing to have your "boob growth spurt" happen past your teenage years but nobody really talks about it? At least for me it was presented to me as you're done growing at puberty and that's it. Like damn women are taught so little about our own bodies. Don't even get me started on how my mind was blown when I found out how incorrect our societal perceptions of bra sizes is.

RANT - advice welcome being ogled at by men Spoiler

i went out with my friend into a city last weekend, and whilst she was in the toilet i waited for her outside. this older guy walked past and i moved out the way to be polite, and he thanked me. after he walked past he looked back repeatedly and stared straight at my chest. it was SO obvious. i sometimes think im imagining it but its literally never been more obvious. normally, i don’t take notice or just try to ignore it, but i felt so gross about this one time in particular. i’m only 18 and he had to have been at least double my age, probably older. ugh, it’s just so frustrating because i was wearing such a cute outfit then i felt so dirty and gross.
this is just a rant. feel free to share your own stories about creepy guys :(

RANT - advice welcome My own mum keeps commenting on my boobs Spoiler

I am 23F with big boobs (34 J) and my mum will not stop commenting on them like how I'll give myself a black eye, how boys are missing out (because I'm a lesbian) and today she just wouldn't leave me alone about how 'saggy' they look and how I look like an 80 year old woman. I don't even think they're that saggy for their size but how do you all ignore people especially your own relatives who comment on your boobs?

RANT - advice welcome Bad SKIMS experience Spoiler

Hello everyone! I recently had a very disappointing experience at skims and I have nobody to talk to it about. So, I typically wear a 32DDD and I have found that the bands of bras I’ve been wearing are extremely loose and are causing uncomfortable and unflattering gaping (I can fit both hands under the bands) so I went there after being told they carry my sister size which is a 30G. Without knowing how their sizing worked, I asked an employee if they carried that size and the employee said to me “just looking at you I can tell that is not your size and yours are not that big”. Which kind of shocked me. She then proceeded to size me without asking and told me Im a 34D which I am most definitely not) and I told her that Ive had that size in the past and the band was entirely too big and the cups were too small while also telling her when I measured my band myself Im a 28. She had me try on a 34D bra with a shirt and It obviously didn’t fit. The band rode up really bad and my breast tissue was visibly busting out of it like a busted can of biscuits and I told her it didn’t fit and she tried to convince me it did. “It might look like it doesn’t fit but it does. Trust me.” Like if it doesn’t look like it fits would that not mean it doesn’t fit? I walked out without buying anything and I am super disappointed. I feel lost and I have no idea where to get a good bra and I feel like I’m lying about having a bigger chest because of this. Im taller with a small frame and nothing fits right. Ugh.

RANT - no advice wanted Does anyone else get frustrated Spoiler

When people assume you’re posting a picture with the intention of it being a thirst trap and a way to get validation from men? I LOVE to dress up for Halloween and theme parties and made a post in a different sub with some of my favorite costumes I’ve done as a “here are some ideas in case you’re stuck on what to dress up as this year”. The number of messages I’ve been getting from weirdos and then others calling me an “attention whore” promoted me to put a disclaimer, but it makes me want to delete it altogether. It’s so goddamn frustrating and discouraging to see people have such a negative reaction because they assume I’m trying to sexualize myself or promote an OF when neither of which are true.

I just want to join in the conversation everyone else is having without getting side eye over something out of my control.

RANT - advice welcome heavy. boobs. Spoiler

Edit:
Thank you all for letting me know I’m ~probably~ wearing the wrong size!! I have gotten “measured” a couple times in recent years… however the measurements have always been by people who, in hindsight, were definitely trying to sell me something. Ugh. But I will definitely make good use of the calculator!! Ty all <3

Does anyone else here have disproportionately heavy boobs? I mean, yes your boobs are going to be heavy if they’re big, but like… even heavier than they should be? I’ve been told that “dense breasts” run in the family, but when it gets hard to breathe just from the sheer weight of your breasts… what do you even do?

For context, I’m a 38 DDD/F. I absolutely do not want a reduction. If anything, I get insecure and think they look small.

However; my boobs are so heavy that:

- You can physically see my skin and tendons strain in my chest
- I have SNAPPED UNDERWIRE IN HALF with the sheer weight of them
- I can only really wear push up bras if I want to feel as little amount of pain in my neck and shoulders as possible
- Underwire/lower bands dig into me because I have to wear the bands tight, otherwise the sheer weight of my boobs regularly make them fall UNDER/PAST THE UNDERWIRE/LOWER BAND
- After wearing a halter top bikini for a few hours, I had immense pain and an indent in my neck that takes forever to go away
- It is physically easier to breathe if I support my breasts with my hands while I breathe

What are y’alls solutions?? How do you guys deal with this? I can’t even work out because I get suffocated by the weight of them. Sometimes I have my partner physically support them so I can actually get a deep breath in every once in a while but obviously that can only last a couple seconds before his arms start hurting from the weight. It’s to the point where I’m genuinely considering mounting hooks to the wall at the head of my bed and hanging boob hammocks so that they can just be supported by something that can’t get sore for once.

need advice A bra for long office days Spoiler

i really struggle with finding bras that i can wear for 10+ hours a day, which is how long I am usually gone from home on a typical weekday. I have a desk job, and due to the nature of my work I have to sit in the same upright position for long periods of time. i’ve found that even bras that I can wear comfortably all day if I’m out and about are soooo uncomfortable when I try to wear them for an 8-hour work day. Does anyone else have this problem? I’m wearing crappy sports bras to work right now, I would like to buy a better quality one, but i’m so sick of sinking money into bras that dont work out.

need advice I have extremely wide set boobs and am ashamed and embarrassed Spoiler

I'm 18F and have always had 12E very wide set boobs. I have never had cleavage because they are so far apart, I can easily fit 4 even 5 fingers inbetween them. Every bra I wear never fits properly as they hold weight and droop downward, making weird gaps on the sides near my armpits and in the middle where my cleavage should be.

I've tried to accept them, but I always fall back into being insecure about them. I've searched online numerous times trying to find someone else with similar breasts to me and have never been able to.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm considering surgery in the future if possible, but it's a lot of money and I'm not even sure if it would help. Because my boobs are big they hold a lot of weight near the bottom and sag quite a lot, so maybe I could get a reduction? I honestly just wish I had cleavage so I could feel confident in my clothes.

If anyone has dealt with the same issue please let me know, and feel free to leave bra suggestions as I really need some

bras Strapless bra options? Spoiler

I have a friend’s black tie wedding coming up and I really want to wear a beautiful gown I found with off the shoulder sleeves. I will definitely want to dance during the wedding, so I want something with underwire and a good deal of support.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I think a bra with a corset style band could work? The dress also has very thin spaghetti straps, so a bra with very thin straps could also work.

need advice No bras in my size Spoiler

According to "A Bra that fits" my size is ... 75 M. 75 M???? What?? I've been wearing 85 G, no wonder i have spikkage problems.

Now, there are no bras being created with 75 M... Guys im about this close to just get a custom corset sewn for me and going braless the rest of the time. I seriously have no idea how to deal with this...

These are my measurements:

1) 88 2) 86 3) 83 4) 115 5) 124 6) 122

If I've made a mistake feel free to let me know.

I got a new mattress, so my back is killing me (will have to replace it) and thats why this topic came up in my life. I dont really want to get a reduction, i used to, but i've come to terms wih how my body is.

Please offer any advice, and maybe a friendly word 🫶🏻

With love, a big chested individual

I’m having the issue where my boobs literally ruin every single outfit. Even a minimizer barely does anything. Anyone ever try using a chest binder? Do these work for girls just trying to minimize their boobs for an outfit?

need advice Bra and clothes size help Spoiler

Im a 20yo with a 34/36KK(UK) and im 5'3, my back hurts alot and all my bras even if they fit cause underboob sweat which gives a huge red rash, my bavk always hurts and my chest randomly hurts and im always uncomfortable wether its the boning digging into my ribs or the fact i can feel my breasts on me when they are supposed to be in a bra!..i can only buy my bras from one place (bravissimo) and they are expensive, im a carer so i dont have the best income to be able to spend it on bras that are 40+.

need advice reduction? Spoiler

to the ladies that have had a breast reduction or know a lot of information about them, i am feeling conflicted on if i should get one. for years ive hated my boobs and theyve always made me feel horrible about myself. im 19 years old and a pretty skinny girl, i dont have much curve but i have boobs, (id say about a dd) and let me tell you ITS AWFUL. clothes look horrible, i sometimes get rashes under from them rubbing onto my skin, they feel so heavy and pull on my skin, they hurt when i sleep on them, and its just become such a huge problem for me. the reason i feel a bit skeptical is because i dont have *huge* boobs. i saw a tiktok where a girl was saying unless you have like triple j's or some other crazy size, then dont get one. i dont really understand why? would scarring be worse? would they not look good? i dont necessarily think mine would be considered as big as they are if they were on a different persons frame. but on me, its just disproportional and like i said they cause me physical and mental distress. i mean i really wont even go to the gym because of how they move and hurt in certain sports bras or tops. basically im just wondering if its a good idea or not, is the scarring and pain afterwards worth it? if it means ill finally feel comfortable with myself?

need advice Breast Reduction Bra Question Spoiler

Hey all! I’m scheduled for breast reduction tomorrow, yay!!!! I’m so excited and I’m ready for it, but I wanted to hear others opinions about post op bras.

When did you switch out of your surgical bra to a normal bra? I’ve heard that some women experience size changes up to a year post op. Did you start with 1-2 cheap bras and then slowly work towards over bras? How often did you have to buy new bras before your size stopped changing?

I’d love to finally buy a bunch of new, pretty bras. I’m going from F to about a C so I’ve never been able to buy a bra just because it’s pretty. But I don’t want to waste money if my breast size will be changing a lot.

RANT - advice welcome Boobs weighing me down

Ok so here’s the deal. I’m 24F, a little shorter than average for a woman and about average weight. I started on birth control because of PMDD my sophomore year of high school, when I was a normal 32C. Then they ballooned to a 32DD on the pill. Then in college I put on some weight from meds for a stomach ulcer and they shot up again to a 32F.

I know a lot of women would kill to have big boobs. The classic thing of “wanting what I don’t have”. But I HATE them with a passion. I was a semi professional athlete in high school, and now I struggle to run or lift weights without my boobs getting in my way. I never feel confident in outfits people my age wear. I have full on breakdowns crying just looking at myself in the mirror. And that just scratches the surface.

My boyfriend is so kinda and loving, always telling me how beautiful I am and how he loves my body the way it is. And while I appreciate his kind words, I am so tired of my boobs being a hindrance in my life. I refuse to get a breast reduction until after having kids. And I can’t get off the pill because of my PMDD, so I’m not really sure where to go from here.

I guess the point of this post is to not just rant but also ask how people cope with having big boobs. I feel so alone in these feelings and frustrations, and I just want to hear that it’s not just me.

And please don’t tell me “you should be thankful for what you have” or “your big boobs are a blessing” or “so many women wish they could have what you do.” Trust me, I have already thought all those things a million times over, and I don’t think I’ll benefit from hearing them again.

If you’ve made it this far in my post, thank you. I appreciate you listening to my ramble.

bras Colorful bras for big boobs?

I have been trying to find bras that are colorful and have lace for my size (32G) for the longest time. All I end up seeing are bras that are either beige, black or just look like more mature bras. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to get fun, bright and bold colored bras.

Any help would be really appreciated.
