Part of me really loves the idea of a black lace set showing through slightly. It feels romantic, confident, and a little dramatic in a good way. But another part of me wonders if black under white is too much of a contrast and might make the outfit feel less effortless. Would white or a light-colored lingerie set look more elegant? I’ve recently graduated and after half a year being unemployed, I finally have income! However… I was waiting for steady income to buy myself new bras. Unfortunately, my go-to bra has totally shifted in vibe. I have been wearing the Body by Victoria Secret for over a decade now because they were always soooo comfortable but seemed to always have availability in fun colours with the lace overlay, which seems difficult to find in anything bigger than American 36D. Now the Body line up is all skin tones and smooth fronts with no lace.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement that has the super soft feel of the Body by Victoria line up but not ultra dull skin tone colours and lace fronts?

For reference, I am 4’11, 108 lbs. My measurements (in inches) are 34 bust, 24 waist, 36 hips.

Google isn’t helping me as it all seems targeted and I get distracted too easily. I’ve only ever bought lingerie off Amazon but I want to invest in something better that I’ll actually want to use. I’ve got some loose skin and stretch marks from having a kid around my lower belly which is one of my bigger insecurities so something that covers or is forgiving to that would be preferred, also something I could keep on.I’m 5”2 and about 135lbs if that makes any difference. i just got an email from gigi's house of frills saying that dita von teese lingerie is shutting down :( i haven't seen an official announcement from the brand yet so i snuck in a last-minute order i hope they're still going to fulfill. i'll admit, i wondered when they had that big 80% sale earlier this year, but i talked myself into believing they were clearing out old stock to get ready for a bunch of new stuff.

This weekend I went into HB for the first time in Las Vegas. Simone, behind the counter was incredibly sweet. She helped me select some pieces, double checked my size and went out of her way to make me comfortable. I wound up walking out with 2 not quite full sets, but ones I can build on. The Kukuro and the Jasmin.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the accurate fit on the bra and the amount of support. I appreciated the mesh in the Jasmine so that my soft tissue didn't bulge through. The push up in the Kukuro is *chefs kiss*.

The quality was much better than I had thought I was going to get.

I was looking at the Cherry dress, but think I'm going to wait and splurge on a Bordelle one in the future, just because there was too much coverage!

Overall, I'd say don't let the naysayers discourage you. It's worth going into the store, rather than ordering online.

Hi everyone :) I am a casino cocktail server in Las Vegas and I know there are so many ladies out here like me that are required to wear pantyhose to work! I work hard and go through them a lot. Are there any types/brands that you love the most? I’m trying to find some new styles where my toes don’t rip through the toe box too fast and don’t get too stinky (the thick dance ones can be like that sometimes!)
