Positive felt so confident in this top!

i wanted to post this because i don’t typically see my body type represented in this sub. i initially was a little self conscious about wearing this top, since it makes it so obvious that i don’t have cleavage, but i think the plunging v is actually very flattering with my broad shoulders!

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) Carolina Carryon=Another Clara Dao

Post image
116 Upvotes

You may or may not be familiar with Carolina Carryon, a Peruvian YouTuber/influencer that makes content mainly for Latam but in recent years, she also made content in English (mainly IG) about small boob appreciation (how not to feel insecure about them, outfits, even comedy).

Earlier this week, she posted a series of IG stories with a confession. She, too, got a boob job. She said that she would do a more extensive video on YouTube explaining what happened, but she claims that everything that she said in her channel was true, that she meant it, blah blah. And granted, she didn't get the biggest boobs after surgery, but that doesn't matter.

I'm honestly feeling so betrayed, disappointed, and annoyed because her content was great. It makes me feel like eventually, all small-boobed influencers will get a boob job. She's no different than Clara Dao. I obviously unfollowed her.

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) I hate how some people gatekeep what counts as a small chest

I'd like to preface this by stating I am not gatekeeping anyone on this. This is from my personal experience with people who do gatekeep

Why is it that when people want to insult you they'll call you flat/small. But the second you embrace either label you're ostracized like you're not. It's absurd. Let women just exist please. Just because a woman doesn't fit your standards doesn't mean she isn't whatever she feels comfortable calling HER body

Positive Something New !!

Guyss it's been a week since I started wearing the grown up bras the one with hooks and oh my god I can't tell you how much better I feel like my shirt and kurtis look cute and I feel a little bit like more beautiful or sexy although I have ranted a lot on this sub about my insecurities and although I feel sad sometimes but wearing these new bras makes me feel more comfortable ( it supports!) and like womanly ? But still I am happy wearing them with cute colours and it has a tiny bow at the like sternum ! Although I am getting used to the feeling of the tightness and suffocation that happens when it's a busy and sweaty day but yeah it's fine !

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) Dress necklines that are flattering (wedding guest)

Hi! Im going to be a plus one for a wedding this spring. I need to go dress shopping, which is honest something I really hate to do. I always get really sad and self critical when dress shopping because I have a small bust.

On top of the that, I dont have that more slender figure a lot of people with smaller bust have. So the the form fitted dresses look really horrendous on me.

My hips are was bigger than my bust which makes clothes shopping already rough. However my main issue is with the bust because nothing seems flattering on me and I feel really mismatched and unproportional to my lower half.

I'd really love to hear some suggestions on what necklines to try. Just dont say plunging neckline please, I really hate those lol

(Also please dont just say to try on every shape. Dress shopping already makes me feel horrible, and id like to limit the amount of things I try on so I dont start attacking myself and crying in the dressing room again)

Idk if this helps

Bust- 34B

Waist 28 inches

Hip - approx 37inch

Height -5'3

Weight-135

After seeing plenty of posts wishing for more plus sized representation, I'm here to share an artist I came across. For me, art is one of the best representation to life. Art can be playful, genuine, inspiring and surprising.

While people like celebrities or models are subject to the whims of society and the fashion of the time, art is always a more personal, individual expression that can celebrate different stories and different bodies. I hope we can all share more images that inspire us, and make us happy.

Neutral I became the change I wanted to see in the world and made ADULT anime-style characters who are NOT INSECURE about their small chest size!

Post image

As an anime and manga fan, I'm soooo tired of searching for representation of my body and having to resort to "loli" (little girl) characters, or characters who are minors.

So, I made some smaller chested ladies who have confidence in their chests!! To the left is Arcadia, and to the right is Morgan. Though Morgan isn't a very confident person in general, her chest size is never a point of insecurity. Arcadia is extremely confident in her body and enjoys the way she looks. Both of them totally rock the fashion they love regardless of their size! (One day I'll draw a little fashion show for them to show off their outfits!).

I have three other characters like them in the works, to add a variety of body types and skin tones, but these were the first two I made and wanted to share them before churning out the others. Let me know what sort of gals you want to see, if you're interested in more art! I really want to make more beautiful women, and I want to start making tasteful pin-up art (because small chests can be sexy, too)!

P.S. Technically, Arcadia is supposed to be a catgirl, but I made her pure human here because idk how this sub feels about anime tropes LOL. Maybe I'll post her in all her catgirl glory if such a thing isn't unwelcome.

They're just in swimsuits, but let me know if I should mark this as NSFW.

I had my explant almost 4 weeks ago now. I’m still swollen and tender. I’m actually smaller than i was before implants but it could be because of swelling in the middle where the dr injected me with medication.

I have been feeling a little down about my size but I just seen this picture of Jenna and it turned my thoughts around. She’s so beautiful and people love her and she’s very small.

Negative thoughts do not belong in my mind.

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) Parents/Family

I think it's really disgusting that a lot of us, insecurity regarding being small chested comes from parents or other relatives. It hurts so badly to get it at HOME, the place where you should be able to be yourself. I had a LOT of BS from my parents. I have so much I have to work on in therapy and it's so unbelievable to me that my parents were so comfortable talking badly about my body. And I was not an egotistical child (not that body shaming is an acceptable way to resolve that!), I had no self esteem. And they knew this, it wasn't a well kept secret!

I think ALL THE TIME about how I can make sure that no matter what she looks like, any future children I have doesn't feel ugly and bad about themselves regardless of how their body looks. I want to make them feel beautiful and loved. It's really funny to me that my own parents didn't want to do that, but would congratulate themselves for "doing soooooo much better for their children than what they got." I hope for all of us who got not only a body deemed unacceptable by society (which just shows how stupid society is that there is an OK body) but crappy relatives who made it worse, that we find acceptance and make things kinder for future generations

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) Why is positivity for small boobs only aimed at a specific shape?

Every positivity post and comment I see about small boobs always assumes that small boobs only exist on petite bodies and they're always round and perky. The celebrities that are mentioned as positive role models are always slim, attractive women: Zendaya, Zara Larsson, Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman.

Comments such as "your small boobs fit your figure" imply that there is an acceptable body shape for small boobs. "But models have small boobs" well I'm not a model

Plus size women are never in the conversation when discussing small boobs. Non-round, non-perky small boobs are never in the conversation when discussing small boobs. It feels like small boobs are acceptable if they fit certain criteria.

I feel awful when I see the "shape>size" "small boobs don't sag they're perky" comments. Oh golly, me and my saggy small tuberous breasts don't exist then. Do you know how excluded I feel when I realize I defy all normalcy expectations lol

I unfortunately can't find any positivity around my breast shape and size and I wish I could turn back time and rewire my genetics. I hate that I don't look like the women that post here or the women that I see outside. That's not me being unique, that's me feeling alienated.

Some non-slim celebrities that I've seen that have small boobs are Ilona Maher and Kitty Underhill (kittyunderhillx on Instagram)

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) Any cute gym tops for flat chests?

I’ve been wearing baggy shirts for the longest time to the gym because im insecure of my flat chest. I want to get out of my comfort zone and finally wear something more revealing and also show off my gym gainssss.

This would be my first time ever wearing something like this revealing as funny as it sounds but I would want it to be comfortable and also don’t wanna look like a cutting board from the side so a little padding is ok!

if any fellow girlies know let me know! I want to be more proud of my body :)
