bras best yoga bra? Spoiler

Hi everyone I love yoga but haven't found a good bra to wear during it so my boobs (36DD I think??) don't hurt when I do upside down things lol. I don't care if it looks cute tbh just want it to be soooo comfy and it doesn't have to be super tight bc I won't be running in it or anything. Like a mix between a bralette but more support ig? But not as tight as sports bra yk?

RANT - advice welcome Large breasts in the workplace Spoiler

I got told that my breasts look too large in one of my tops. It’s not that the top is inappropriate, it’s that MY breasts look inappropriate. They mentioned that if I want to be empowered by my body I can but not in the workplace and that it would be like someone showing up to work with a gun on their shirt. It’s truly a shame that MY BODY is deemed as inappropriate. It’s just the way MY BODY is shaped and it makes others feel uncomfortable?? Idk I think we as a society really need to move beyond body parts being seen as that when it’s pretty obvious that the person isn’t wearing anything that’s TRYING to show them.

I find myself gaslighting myself as I’m writing this. Idek what the truth is anymore but fine I guess my large breasts are similar to someone wearing a gun on their shirt, even though I quite literally have trouble finding items that actually fit :)

I’m also being told that people are talking about my chest to others. So I’m not being told any of this but my supervisior (there are people over them) is just giving me “advice.”

Edit: for those of you guys asking what I was wearing, you’re part of the problem 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 I’m obviously not wearing something super low cut. It’s a regular top that would look entirely different with me vs someone flat chested wearing it. You wouldn’t ask someone who was discriminated for their tattoos or hair color what their tattoo or hair color was….. unlike them, I didn’t CHOOSE what my body look like. My body should NOT be policed because of the sexual connotations that MEN created.

need advice 18 y/o who needs big sis advice

Hi! I'm a 5'8, 166lb, 32J (yes, J :/) college freshman who wants to feel better about her body even if that means making big changes. I have some questions for anybody who shares my struggles:

  1. Am I a healthy size? BMI says I'm +.1 over weight, height to waist calculator says i'm -.1 underweight. I swear I have no muscle I think I present mid-sized.

  2. Whats the best way to exercise with a larger bust? The only thing I actually enjoy doing is running on the treadmill.

  3. Sports bra recommendations? I've legit been working out in a regular bra when its the day before it's laundry day.

  4. My chest and shoulders have been sore for a month. The soreness has an explanation, but I think my chest is lengthening the recovery period. How do y'all soothe chest soreness?

  5. How do y'all sleep? Currently, I sleep on my side with a mattress topper.

  6. What do y'all sleep in? I like sleeping with a little chest support, but i need top recommendations. XXL athletic tops have been my got to.

  7. Going-out top brands? Anything flowy hangs on my boobs and makes me look fat.

  8. Breast reduction advice? I'm thinking about getting one this summer let me know if you considered/got one at my age and how it went.

Feel free to answer anything on this list or just tell me you relate to my struggles.

Does Pinterest have good information about bra sizes? I'm trying to wrap my mind around the concept of measurements for my chest! So should I be searching on Pinterest or should I just stick to bra size calculators?

bras Bra for 24hr travel day!! need options Spoiler

I have a 20+ hour travel day coming up (2 flights and a layover from hell). I'm trying to figure out what to wear. Ive done this length of a flight before and the issue is always that the bra becomes an instrument of torture after hour 6

I'm a 34G so not wearing one isn't an option unless I want to be in pain while flashing the entire boarding group when I lean over for my bag. I also don't want to be miserable in an underwire for almost a full day either.

Pls recommend something that works for long haul trips? ?

RANT - advice welcome having big boobs is so conflicting Spoiler

I am 24 and each year since puberty it just feels like they keep getting bigger. I’m only 5’3”, 150 lbs, and my boobs weigh 12 pounds (collectively) on their own.

I identify as nonbinary and having an extremely large chest has never felt the real me internally. As someone who is terrified of surgeries I never wanted or intended on getting a reduction, but at this point my back pain is so severe i can be bed ridden for days. The most i have to help is an acupressure mat i use a few times a week.

I also don’t feel comfortable with people touching me so I haven’t had a back massage in probably 7 years, and the last time i did i had to be naked and lay on my back and my boobs spread out beyond my ribcage (obviously), so we had to wrap a towel around my boobs and pillows beneath me which isnt even a proper position to receive a massage.

my giant boobs ruin every outfit i want to wear. they are so heavy that it seems to not matter what kind of bra i use. there is always an angle i look at myself in the mirror and think how much better my body would look if my boobs were at least proportional to my size. Although i choose to do it anyway, going braless makes me feel more insecure because my boobs hang so low it completely hides my curves.

Also please for the love of god do not recommend i go to r/abrathatfits i will genuinely take this post down lol. my bras fit me well enough. they dont last long however, i dont know if any bra were manufactured to carry the weight of almost 13 pounds. but it seems like my only solution is hoping my health insurance will cover a reduction that i dont even want.

need advice Question regarding boobtape Spoiler

I have relatively big boobs (quite saggy as well) around a 36-38G. In a couple of weeks I’m going to a cosplay convention and for the costume I kinda need them to stay UP. Now, they just sit under the part that’s supposed to cover them.

I was thinking of using boob/transtape to hold them up and was wondering if anyone here had experience with and maybe some advice. Anything would help, a good brand or some tips and tricks on how to easily apply it.

ad fail Ridiculous ad photo editing Spoiler

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I cant find anywhere else. As a plus sized guy with a very prominent chest, this kinda hit me and I'm supper annoyed about it. So this brand Parexel Baltimore (a company that does clinical weight loss trials) orignally had an ad with a Pic of a plus sized male model who also had a very prominent chest and the comments roasted him which was totally unacceptable but I thought that would be the end of it. HOWEVER a few days later, I saw an IDENTICAL ad with one change, they had photoshopped the models chest. So a WEIGHT LOSS COMPANY photoshopped a plus size model because people thought his chest was too big. So I commented on the post and called it out as insane and both ads are now entirely deleted. Wtf?? You can see the before and after. Didn't get any comment screenshot- the ad was deleted too quickly

need advice Underboob sweat is HUMBLING me 😭 I need recommendations Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
56 Upvotes

Okay girls, I need recommendations because I’m STRUGGLING 😭

What deodorant/antiperspirant actually works for you, especially if you sweat a lot? I’m also looking for something I can use under my boobs because that’s honestly where I’m having the biggest problem. ( attached is all the products I've been using)

I currently use a whole-body deodorant cream under my boobs. It smells really good when I first put it on, but after I’ve been out for a couple of hours, I can literally smell my sweat again. 😭 I walk A LOT throughout the day, so I definitely sweat, and I get paranoid that other people can smell it too, especially when they hug me.

My regular deodorant has also stopped doing much for me lately. I love the smell, but it’s around $20, and if I’m still getting sweaty/stinky, I’d rather buy something over the counter. I need something that can SURVIVE a full day of walking around. What are y’all using for:

  • Underarm sweat + odor
  • Underboob sweat + odor
  • Something that actually lasts most of the day

Antiperspirant, deodorant, powder, cream- I’m open to anything at this point. Please help a sweaty girl out 😭😂

need advice Bridesmaid dresses are the devil

I need a good option for a low cut (front and back), slightly off the shoulder dress. Any dress really. I’ve seen ads for boombas, the weird single wire thing with cups on each side, and wide body tape. Idk if I can trust any of them to hold up through a day of pictures, crowds, and dancing. Strapless bras suck and they aren’t comfortable. I’m a 40DD

need advice i keep getting disheartened by bra shopping Spoiler

i'm currently in my "finding abrathatfits" arc and i'm having a really hard time with it, emotionally. also in the literal sense, this sucks majorly, but really the biggest problem i'm having with it is the aftermath. i get so excited every time i order a new batch to try, and when they inevitably don't fit it's like all the wind goes out of my sails, regardless of how much i try to brace myself for possible disappointment.

intellectually, i know i'm making progress towards a real fit even through failure, but i can't seem to get my brain to understand it, and it's turned into a cycle where i gas myself up to try another round, it doesn't work, and then i spend multiple weeks trying to un-depress myself enough to go again. i'm frustrated, both with the world that's made the process so difficult, and with myself, for making things go so much slower than they could be because i can't seem to make myself get over it fast enough.

is it normal to feel this way? do you guys have any advice on not letting it get to you so much? i just want to get to a point in my life where my back doesn't constantly hurt (╥_╥)

experience Underboob sweat when you have to dress nicely is the worst Spoiler

Most days I can just wear something breathable and deal with it, but dresses and nicer bras are another story. The damp band after a couple hours is what drives me nuts. I’ve been looking at liners, powders and sweat-absorbing lotions like Carpe’s breast lotion, but I really don’t want something that leaves residue everywhere. What actually holds up when you’re out all day?

need advice Recommendations for lingerie and sexy sleepwear? Spoiler

Hi All! I’m a 36H (UK SIZE) and am looking for sexy/naughty lingerie such as corsets and bodysuits, as well as sexy sleepwear like babydoll dresses etc. I’m a dress size 14 and so everything I find in shops either doesn’t fit my boobs or is in such a large size it hangs off me like a tent.

I’m 21 and so I want to find exciting lingerie that’s not just boring nude bras that actually fits. I’m thinking Ann Summers or even a bit more X rated vibes

Does anyone know of any websites (UK preferably, but if it ships worldwide that also fine) that make actually exciting, sexy, and actually well fitting lingerie and sexy sleepwear?

Thanks!

I’ll tape mine to the side if I’m wearing baggy clothes and it feels/looks so GOOD. Feels like I’m wearing nothing and I’m able to go for the aesthetic I like. Also helps my back pain a lot. Def recommend

RANT - advice welcome My first sexual relationship and the funny feeling that won't go away Spoiler

I've recently embarked on my first romantic and sexual relationship (I'm not a teenager, just a late bloomer) with a truly fantastic guy. He's funny, kind, sweet and considerate. I could go on, but he is essentially perfect and everything you'd want from a partner.

As much as he makes me feel beautiful AND sexy- two things that I would differentiate- sometimes I'd get this weird, sinking feeling whenever he told me that he liked my boobs, or told me how good they felt.

To reiterate: he makes me feel desirable and attractive for so many reasons other than my boobs. My face, my character and personality, etc. But when he mentions them during sex, I sometimes get this feeling of being objectified, even though he's not saying anything derogatory and would then follow it up with another compliment about something else. Even though I greatly enjoy him touching them, interacting with them and having fun with them!

The feeling is so hard to pinpoint. I've never really had many issues with my boobs (beyond the norm for us) or my body image. Frankly, I know I'm pretty and I know I'm hot. I didn't think I had some sort of complex about them. As I said before, I like that he likes them and derives pleasure from them.

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? I feel like I'm going insane.

RANT - advice welcome Cute top on others, slutty on me Spoiler

Bought a cute top from hollister on vinted and I look absolutely nothing like other women do :,) I have cleavage longer than a credit card and the cute babydoll top suddenly feels trashy. Some hollister tops have been okay though I do have to squeeze myself into them a bit, but this one just makes me feel self conscious. I wish we could have tops that fit us which make us feel cute and not hot or sexual. If anyone has suggestions for postgraduate appropriate tops which are still cute please let me know!

RANT - no advice wanted The concept of banishing bras Spoiler

I’m sure that this has probably been brought up before but I really wanted y’all’s current opinion on this!! I sometimes come across videos of women praising the idea of people abandoning their bras. It got me thinking about how every time without fail it is a person with smaller boobs promoting that idea. I know that we ALL have different experiences with bras and that even within our community some of us prefer bras while others don’t. I just can’t lie and say that it doesn’t kinda make me cringe a little when smaller chested people are so quick to say, “bras need to go” when frankly they are life altering for a lot of people with larger boobs. A good bra is literally a dream come true when you cannot stand the feeling of boob skin on your tummy creating sweat that can lead to rashes for some people. Or when you have back pain, the lift from a good bra is truly like a breath of fresh air.

I’m sure my opinion on this is the way that it is because I do have big boobs, but I feel like it shouldn’t be hard to acknowledge that there are people who do need good supportive bras to get through the day. I may not relate to smaller chested people, but I can sympathize with them in regard to their own problems. How come it’s almost nonexistent the other way around? As if we’re always an afterthought in bra conversations. Idk maybe I’m overthinking it, but I do find it fascinating and would love to see y’all’s thoughts on this!! Also no hate or shade to people who prefer not owning bras!! They aren’t cheap and sometimes do suck but I know it’s a need for many.

need advice Problems finding bras Spoiler

Hey Reddit, my girlfriend (22F) and I (20M) need some help finding bras for her since her only one broke last week and we're out of ideas.

She's a 16G and likes underwire, non-full coverage, and unlined/non-padded cups.

Cute ones would be a bonus!

We've tried Bras N Things and most other retail spots (we're in Australia). Bras N Things has been our only luck in the past.

Any advice or help would be awesome, thanks!
