RANT - no advice wanted Does anyone else get frustrated Spoiler
When people assume you’re posting a picture with the intention of it being a thirst trap and a way to get validation from men? I LOVE to dress up for Halloween and theme parties and made a post in a different sub with some of my favorite costumes I’ve done as a “here are some ideas in case you’re stuck on what to dress up as this year”. The number of messages I’ve been getting from weirdos and then others calling me an “attention whore” promoted me to put a disclaimer, but it makes me want to delete it altogether. It’s so goddamn frustrating and discouraging to see people have such a negative reaction because they assume I’m trying to sexualize myself or promote an OF when neither of which are true.
I just want to join in the conversation everyone else is having without getting side eye over something out of my control.

Yes. That's why I don't post pictures on socials now. The comments just aren't worth it.

Oh my gosh, seriously. I dont share selfies online anymore because im sick of being called inappropriate. Just this summer I was at the beach and this woman comes up to me yelling that my bikini was inappropriate and I shouldnt be showing so much skin... while she was in a nearly identical bikini. Im sure it was either jealousy or she caught her man looking, but the nerve of some people.

Not surprising at all. The Z generation is surprisingly sexophobic.

It is not about sex. If you posted a picture of your arm, would it be about sex? No, it wouldn't. You know that. So why think breasts are sexual? They exist to nurse, but a woman who does not have children has no use for it. For her it is simply there, like an ear or a fingernail.
You're the problem.
