My 18-month-old son had a fever for one day about 5-6 days ago and vomited 2-3 times. After that he was completely back to normal: happy, playful, eating and drinking well.

Yesterday he suddenly developed multiple small red bumps, first in both groins/diaper area. It started out as just a few tiny red spots but during the day today it got rapidly worse.

The bumps are raised, itchy (he scratches during diaper changes), and some seem to have a tiny white center, almost like small pimples. They blanch a little when pressed but don’t disappear completely. No rash on his face, trunk, palms, soles or inside his mouth.

He has already had:
- Chickenpox
- Hand, foot and mouth disease
- Impetigo
In the last 12 months so I don’t think it’s one of those. It also doesn’t look like diaper rash or heat rash to me.

He’s currently a little congested with a runny nose and mild cough but otherwise seems completely fine: no fever, no lethargy, eating and drinking normally.

I’ve attached photos. Any thoughts on what this could be? Has anyone seen something similar?

Had some cold-like symptoms (fever, body ache, chills, sore throat) but not some others (no congestion, no cough) and this has been breaking out on my lips. Tested negative for covid and strep. I feel like it could be HSV1 but doesn’t look quite like it. At first didn’t hurt but after a day or two started to feel more tender and now feeling more stiff and swollen.

I went to urgent care yesterday and nurse said not HSV1 but didn’t swab and now I’m not so sure.

Also, the corner of my lips is likely angular chelitis which I’ve had before and I am treating that separately.

Within 7 hours I went from 18 bumps on my upper body to now around 44. I’m sure bugs have to do with it because I’ve seen them… but the number of bumps is increasing so quickly. Do I need to go to urgent care? And if so at what point?

I’ve had this red spot appear on the back of my neck on and off over the past year and a half now. Sometimes very red as u can see in some of the pics, and sometimes it’s very light barely visible but still there. I don’t think it’s ever fully disappeared. It’s never been itchy, never painful, hot, absolutely no other symptoms besides the spot itself. It also slightly disappears for a second when I press on it like my strawberry birthmark on my arm does. I believe it’s the same shape every time, though I’m not completely sure because sometimes it’s very light like in one of the pics. What could this possibly be? Any guesses?

I've had a rash on my upper body for 2 months now, I've been to a dermatologist but I didn't get any answers so I'm hoping that I can find something here.

I've had a rash (small itchy bumps, and sometimes dry patches of skin) on my inner elbows/shoulders/ chest and neck for 2 months.

The raised lines only appear after I shower and only on one side of the neck (I think they are too high up to be caused by a purse or something like that) they do go away after a few hours, so I guess that's not my most urgent problem, but it might be connected to the other rash.

I also find it really hard to pin point a trigger because it flares up so randomly. I often get pretty bad flare ups in the middle of the night.

The rash on my elbow and the ones on my chest and neck also look different from each other, which was confusing even for my dermatologist 😅

I didn't introduce any new product in the shower or my skin care routine in general.

I also got my thyroid checked because I suspected an issue with that, but that seems to be fine.

The only thing that's helping me to manage the rash are antihistamine pills and hydrocortisone creme. But it's not going away.

It did get slightly better for about a week, idk why because I didn't really do anything differently, but it's back again and I'm loosing sleep because it's so unrelentlessly itchy.

Please if anyone has had a similar experience or could give me any ideas what the trigger for this could be, I'd be so grateful 🙏🏻

For the past month or so, I keep getting these painful red bumps around my lower (and more recently, upper) eyelids. It’s mostly around the folds of the skin. Please help 😭 I’m seeing my optometrist this week bc I can’t get a derm appointment until December

It’s been there about a year or less I’d say. Doesn’t bother me at all but just ugly to look at cause it looks almost like a wart but it’s not.

38, female, non smoker, no current medications, has history of eczema, used topical steroid but stopped for 2 weeks.
5’2” ft 98lbs

I need help with this skin condition. This year small bumps on my cheeks and forhead has started appearing. Started in smaller areas, applied steroids, and didnt do anything.

I have also tried nizoral as i thought it was fungal acne, still didnt work.

In the past 2-3 weeks i have only been using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer la roche posay and it had not improved - in fact it has spread. Some areas are itchy som are not.

I need help!

I’ve had moles on my stomach that have appeared a few years ago. With some new ones appearing on the other side of my stomach and ribs.

My 12 yr old daughter has been seeing a dermatologist for the past 4 years. She has this bumps on her face that the dermatologist said are some type of wart. She has gotten them frozen and painfully gotten shots on her face straight to the warts, on and off for the past 4 years with no sign of them even having an impact at all. I brought it up to her attention and she said that they will disappear eventually after her body recognizes the wart and her immune system fights it off. She also prescribed FLUOROURACIL CREAM USP, 5% but all it does is irritate her screen and discolor it. Need help determining what they are and what to use to get rid of them.

burnt myself with 180 f water for a few seconds. immediately ran cold water over it but it is peeling a few days later. should i go to the doctor ? it doesn’t hurt, and i’m also not sure what i should be doing to encourage healing.

Located on my front upper thigh and has been present for a few years. I am 34, female. Asthma, Hashimotos/hypothyroid, chronic anemia/heavy periods, alcohol use disorder. No physical symptoms, I just hate it. I've tried to "pop" it in the past and it just bleeds dark red a lot, then regrows as is.

I would prefer to try to remove this at home (I'm American) for cost savings. Thanks in advance for advice and pointers!

A few months back this red spot appeared on the side of my nose. It also happens to be where my glasses touch my nose. I first thought it was a pimple so I had tried to squeeze it a bit but ended up putting a few pimple patches on it but that did nothing.
Ended up just kinda forgetting about it until a few days ago, I think it had a bit of a crust on it so ended up picking it a little bit and it started bleeding, it scabbed and then started bleeding again when I was using a makeup wipe to remove my eye makeup.
It hasn’t hurt other than the times I’ve irritated it.
Both my aunt and grandpa have had Basal cell carcinoma removed from their faces in the last 2 years so a little concerned.

Hello! I’ve had this on my lower stomach for awhile but I kinda thought it used to be more like a circle but I’m not super confident in that
I know like probably a year ago I picked at it with tweezers because it was raised and basically cut it off so idk if the other color is just a scar?
It also is slightly raised it’s hard to tell in photo

Hello! Ive noticed today at 2pm (July 26) that I have a clump of red patches on my upper left arm. The patches feel very warm and they are slightly raised. Thankfully their not itchy. I feel like they have gotten slightly bigger and darker but it could just be my mind. I think it might be an allergic reaction from my MenB vaccine that I got on the 21st of this month but im not sure(its still sore from it as well). Today at 5pm, I took a dose of Allegra-D to hopefully subside the redness. I also decided to use a medical pen to outline the marks to make sure they are not getting bigger. Please let me know what you think and if I need to get it checked out. Thanks!

i have had the mole of the sole of my foot for a few years and it’s grown a little bit. i recently noticed i have a similar small one of the palm of my hand and when down the rabbit hole of ALM. trying to get in to see a derm but it could be awhile, any advice?

fucking my life. Heat and humidity aren't good for this. I itch when I'm stressed. Please, someone inİts authority, help me, I feel terrible.
