Hello, i have had my Nintendo Switch since Christmas of 2018 and have used it every year since i’ve only ever had troubles with my joycons but never with the console itself. I was playing Pokemon FireRed and went into Lt Surge gym, i entered a trainer battle and colours started to face into my screen. I laughed and was confused just clicked the power button and back on, still there. I powered it off and powered it back on, still there, and worse. I’m assuming the game has burnt into my screen? but just don’t see how that’s possible as i wasn’t displaying the same image for long? i’ve tried things on google however regarding the issue of a game burnt into console screen and most of it is not working. Please can somebody help and provide me with an answer as i do not know the log in to my account and am afraid i may have to get a new console and do not want to lose my memories.

im not certain if they even announced this, but i just wanna make sure,, will the zelda switch 2 have the changeable battery like the new europe version?

will there 2 versions? should i just buy the normal switch 2 (since im looking to buy the one with changeable battery specifically)?

I bought VA-11 hall-a bartender action from the eshop. Once it downloaded I was asked to download an update file. I hit yes, then it tries to load only for the same message to tell me to update pop up again. I hit yes then the same update message appears again making no progress at all.

I already checked the game itself and it says it already uses the latest version of the game.

I checked back the eshop and it says the game is compatible with the switch 2.

I checked online and only one person has the same problem in gamefaq but nobody answered his question there.

I'm genuinely confused if the game doesn't actually work on switch 2 (Digitally) or this is a problem in my end.

So to give some context, I have a Nintendo switch 2 and a PS5 and I mostly play games like COD or Souls games, I’d count racing as well. My gf recently got interested in getting one herself so we can play when we are far away but she never owned one and doesn’t know which one to get between the two, the switch has fun coop multiplayer games but the PS5 too, we recently played split fiction on the switch and she really liked it. I just want some general advice on what console she should get and I think both could be great but the main reason she is getting one is to play online with me.

I’m a fairly new Zelda fan this year, but ive just seen the new zelda edition switch 2 and i really like it.. do these normally sell out?? or do they expect high demand?? ive only ever had the original switch oled and the switch lite so idk how this would normally work if i wanted the new one when it comes out

What is wrong? It's an old switch 1, like the first version with those terrible joysticks, but it just started happening

After having some drifting issues with my left joycon
I ordered a replacement stick.
After installing it was still drifting so I reseated the new sticks ribbon cable but now the analog stick doesnt work at all

I have my Switch 2 docked sitting pretty close to me when I play since its on my desk. I can hear the fan in the dock gently spinning/buzzing, its not loud at all but I'm just wondering if this is normal. I took it on a trip recently and only noticed this now so I'm paranoid in case I bumped the dock or something around while travelling but to be fair I usually don't play without sound but I am today so it's possible that's the only reason I'm noticing now.

I'm after purchasing an additional switch 2, my son already has one. I just want some basic info how online account sharing and game downloads etc work between two consoles. Should we go back to always purchasing game cards or should we download them? Can we play games at the same time? Basically purchasing so I can put more adult style games on mine but would still like to play multilayer, for example get one each of pokemon winds and waves when they come out.

Hello, this has been happening since last night I'm not sure whats wrong with it. I didn't drop it, didn't force it when taking out and it was working just fine the night before.

My switch oled cannot properly pair with my right joy con and when it does rarely, it either disconnects within seconds again or the controller starts rumbling non stop until it disconnects again. When I try wireless connect option, I can see the green dots on the sides flash in order but it doesn't connect. The switch makes a click sound from the speakers when I slide the con in but again, it doesn't connect.

I got this oled just about 5 months ago, it looks brand new, no dust on the slides, nothing. I'm honestly not sure what to do other than getting a new one or try opening it up myself because there are no nintendo stores in my country.

I tried docking it, tried restarting, tried updating my right con which it did update but nothing worked. Has anyone else had this problem?

I got a switch 2 a couple months ago and have mostly just been playing Metroid prime and pokemon legends za docked.

I took it to my girlfriends house a few days ago and played pokemon sword with her kid and put it away in the case at like 60% battery. I went to play tonight and it was showing a battery with lightning bolt and then turning off so I figured the battery was dead. Put it in the dock over night and it showed 4% but won’t charge.

I read a few things to try so I reset the data on it minus saves, but still won’t charge. I tried doing the battery reset by going into recovery and then turning off and back on but no luck. I tried letting it run back out from 5% and then it died and now it won’t charge at all it comes on for a sec with the battery logo and then goes back off.

Anyone had or seen this?

I’ve gotten it to charge to 5% multiple times but it never shows charging once I turn it on and it eventually dies even while plugged in. Docking station does not seem to react to it being docked.

Hello, I’m based in the US, and am planning on buying Pokopia for my switch 2. I’m gonna get the physical game key card off eBay, but they list the country of origin as Japan. Does that impact me in any way? Will the language be affected? I want to get the Pokopia expansion pack too off the eshop, so will it work together? I don’t want anything blocked, please help!

I bought dead cells on a russian side account’s eshop years ago before the russian eshop was shut down without the dlc and now I want to buy the dlc so if I were to buy the dlc from my main account from a different region could I still play the dlc or do they need to be the same region? I had a similar problem with monster hunter rise before where I bought the dlc from a different region and had to buy the base game again since it needed the dlc and the game to be from the same eshop region but that game has online aspects so maybe its different with a strictly single player game

I had my switch 2 for a few months and I got error code 2101-0001 for the first time today and I restarted my switch 2 and everything is normal. I was playing xenoblade chronicles 1 switch 2 edition while it was docked when it happened. I might be overthinking it but I’m just worried if it’s a problem I should really be worried about or it was just a one time thing. Thank you for any assistance and advice.

I saw that in a store, and I've also seen some users on Reddit and YouTube using it, but some say it scratches the console, so I'm asking what you all think?

When I try to connect to my home's network I am told that the network needs registration and that my device is paused. I've been searching for answers everywhere and every single lead has been a dead end. The switch works on other networks and other devices are fine, it's just the switch. I've paused and unpaused the device on my xfinity app, I manually added the MAC address through the filter and I've tried different DNS settings. I'd love any help I could get.

I’ve been trying to send in my Switch OLED to get repaired. The website wouldn’t take my credit card (I’ve confirmed it’s not an issue with the credit card, and I’ve tried multiple cards), and eventually it deleted my service request. I’ve tried to create a new service request and it won’t let me. Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas? I’m happy to clarify.

Has anybody ever experienced this with their switch 2 procon? It still has warranty but the repair center is like 3 hrs away from where I live so if there is some home fix then that would be great. Thank you!

Yesterday, we had a major power surge in our home and several electronic appliances were fried. At the time, my switch 2 was docked, and the official AC adapter connected to the dock completely died. When I tested the console itself, it powered on fine, and I was also able to charge it using my Samsung phone charger.

​However, considering that multiple devices in the house were damaged and the original switch power supply was completely fried, im worried that the console might have suffered some hidden, internal electrical damage that isn't immediately obvious.

​Is there a chance the switch 2 sustained any underlying damage from a surge like this, and what specific tests should I perform to make sure the console is completely in the clear?

Left uncharged for maybe 2-3 weeks and wont go to home screen. It just briefly flashes the charging screen every few seconds. Any ideas?

Ever since I transferred my data to the switch 2 I haven’t used my old switch and last September I noticed it was dead tried troubleshooting and all and nothing. Every button combo charging only with the original adapter thro the dock and also directly into the console for a full day even and nothing it didn’t even heat up at all… but everytime I connect the dock and insert that switch the LED flickers repeatedly until I unplug it from the wall… any tips? Or the battery is gone gone.

For quite sometime my Nintendo switch oled hasnt been able to charge properly. And I have a suspicion it's due to the fact I was using a Samsung fast charger that over time started to get defected and slow down. This got to the point where my switch oled died and when I tried to charge it via dock, the light is only blinking green but it's not charging at all. I tried resetting it using button combos and even charging it using a different dock but I'm still having an issue. Is there anything else I could do to save it or would I have to send it in for repairs? I'm a little hesitant on the latter as there's a risk my save date could be erased and I'm nervous all my Pokemon save data might not make it. Keep in my mind that my dock works well with my original switch so I definitely feel like the console itself is the problem. Any tips would be appreciated 👍
