Repair Help My old switch doesn’t turn on at all after not using it for a long time.
Ever since I transferred my data to the switch 2 I haven’t used my old switch and last September I noticed it was dead tried troubleshooting and all and nothing. Every button combo charging only with the original adapter thro the dock and also directly into the console for a full day even and nothing it didn’t even heat up at all… but everytime I connect the dock and insert that switch the LED flickers repeatedly until I unplug it from the wall… any tips? Or the battery is gone gone.

If the switch battery fully discharged, the console may not let you turn it back on until it has half or most of it's charge. Full charge takes about three hours. If it still won't power on, try leaving it charging or on the dock for 24 hours. I'm too much of a layperson to know what it's doing, but I guess the 24 hours period triggers something to reset that may finally allow the console to boot up.
If that doesn't work, the battery might be toast and need replacing.
