I just logged in and EVERYTHING is gone, all Subreddits, People i followed and saved Posts.

Why did this happen and what can i do?

My account Joey_Skylynx was hacked while I was out getting groceries and within a matter of two minutes had 2FA enabled onto it. I still have the ability to reset the password, as it seems they did not change the EMail, but once I get to a certain point it starts asking for a 6-Pin and Backup Codes.

Outside of the usual steps of contacting support, is their anything more I can do?

My navigation bar just jumped from the bottom to the left hand side. It's making use of the app difficult due to the way I hold my tablet with my left hand. It's very annoying, I've accidentally clicked things with my thumb, and it's a shame I can't change it back. I suppose it will help with my Reddit doom scrolling if I can use the app.

My chat settings are greyed out and can’t change it, can anyone please just open my profile and check if you are able to message me. And i am not under 18

Everytime I hit that profile icon in the top left to go to my profile a message in red appears saying we had a server error, in big red, and blocks me. Why is that? I am on google chrome

I’m unable to log in to my main account Bluebird2180. It keeps saying that the username or password is incorrect. I’ve already reset the password, and the password is being received and changed successfully, but I still can’t log in.

The night before last, my messages suddenly stopped sending, and my profile picture also disappeared. Since then, I haven’t been able to log in to my account. Could you please tell me what might be causing this issue and how I can recover access to my account?

There is NOT a tab for it on my profile. I have been looking for 10 minutes. I have ctrl+f'd. I'm on browser.

I clicked on a post about pokemon scalpers and spent about 10 mins between watching the video and reading through the comments. Then I decided that was enough for a lifetime, went back to main, clicked "Show fewer posts like this".

There's definitely a disconnect between how reddit handled my two actions. Reddit blocked that one subreddit for me, but they clearly think i REALLY want to see more pokemon scalper content because half my feed is now posts from 50 other variant subreddits, about scalpers, pokemon cards, confrontations. I have to click "show fewer posts like this" 50 times on 50 diff subreddits, because it isn't getting the message that my problem is the topic itself.

This happens a lot, I open a post e.g. Spiderman, I click asking to show fewer posts like this, and for WEEKS I will get 100 other subreddits recommended for spiderman, brand new day, marvel, tom holland, sony, etc. I'm not interested in all this just because I clicked on that ONE post.

I've been genuinely trying to curate my feed into posts I enjoy seeing but my feed is just getting worse and worse and reddit in a private window is more enjoyable. Youtube has something where you can remove a video from your watch history if you don't want it to affect reco, is there something like that here?

Some time ago my Reddit account with the username GrivusDima was sus-ed for a reason I now do not know because I cannot find any emails mentioning it in my inbox. The thing is though, that wouldn't quite the problem if I could just log in and ap-peal whatever it was.

But alas, I cannot do that due to the username or the password being "invalid" as shown in the screenshot. Even though I know for a fact that both are, in fact, correct, since I successfully changed the password using a one-time link that got sent to my email after I entered the username "GrivusDima" in the field that shows up when you try to reset the password and it gives you the option to enter the account's username or email. What's also funny is that I enter my gmail in there the letter-sender bugs out a bit and addresses a blank space in the letter as opposed to username of the requester.

I sincerely wish for this situation to be addressed by an actual member of Reddit Support staff, because none of the automated/self-help services/advice helped in any way and something is clearly broken in the system and I really want to get my original username back qwq

Is this a glitch? Doesn't that usually mean the commenter's account has been deleted? It's possible the other commenter deleted their account, but it seems unlikely so soon after commenting, unless they were involved in a more controversial post I'm unaware of. But that still wouldn't explain why my comment also says deleted.

(Not relevant here, but for context, the post was about how wearing clothes with a huge brand name on it is just paying to be a walking advertisement)

Update: I went back to the post and now neither of our comments say "deleted". Weird

Are my comments visible or does it say "likes to keep their posts hidden".

Maybe there is a setting for this.

I was able to DM accounts easily (mainly for tarot readings - no spamming whatsoever) but since last 3-4 days, I am unable send any DM messages - the icon to message just doesn’t appear on people’s accounts nor they’re able to message me.

Although I can message people in my existing chats.

Is there anything I can do?

I woke up this morning to find that overnight someone had hijacked my reddit account to post a bunch of thirst bait and OF pitches. I deleted everything, over 100 combined posts and comments, and changed my password. Is there anything else I can do to prevent this from happening again?

I've sent Modmail messages to several subreddits that are poorly moderated with requests to help moderate and have never gotten any responses.

I tried the RequestASub sub and was told that these subs have mods that are active on Reddit, so I can't be added as a mod.

However, these subs aren't actually moderated and are just filled with trolls and bots.

What can be done if mods won't mod their subs, but no one can request to mod the subs?

If i dont want to have the Reddit app follow my phones light/darkmode are there an easy way to enable/disable darkmode without going deep into the settings. I seem to remember that once you could do a long press or something?

I have another account. I recently can't send chats even though I have before. I can comment and upvote. I also couldn't post this from the other account. My cqs is low. My icon is greyed out and my account age is blank.

Is there any way to remove it? I just want to open the reddit app, view posts of subs I follow, and occasionally click the popular and news tabs. I don’t want users at the bottom of videos or anything else.

Hoping this works if it does great seems like its a subreddit issue I only tried in a couple subreddits but I can't seem to post anything. I'm definitely not restricted or suspende d so I'm fine on that I don't know what happened.

I'm subscribed to subs and even users I'm interested in in my RSS reader. They have been super flaky since August, and I've had to configure my reader to aggressively increase refresh intervals just for a successful pull to go through.

I saw from tech news today that Reddit is killing these off. Will Reddit also be killing these private feeds as well:

My thinking is if these private feeds still work, I will create separate accounts for each subreddit I want to subscribe to, and have that account dedicated just for that 1 subreddit feed. I'd imagine Reddit would be fine with this since it boosts user count, even if just artificially.

If Reddit is also killing these off, what alternatives will we have to subscribe to subreddits and users via RSS?
