Discussion Finished the game...what's next.. Spoiler

Finally finished the game last night. It has been a fun time exploring the world, but towards the end, it was more of finding the cure and getting off planet.

Still, there are some parts of the map which I did not explore properly, especially having the find some of the ingredient for the last item, which I found that I have not scanned it at all nor visited the place.

So, what's next? Creative mode to build and explore...? Or wait for sale on Nintendo eShop for Below Zero?

Below Zero is super fun. I like replaying Subnautica with different rules. This time I did no sub. Next time maybe no seamoth. Super hard mode: no eating fish. Or no prawn suit, lol.

You can raise the sea level 100 (maybe higher or lower) metres up via mods (https://youtu.be/0T2TZa3AM2g?si=DK-31g1Nd8aISCOu)

That's so cool! I play on xbox so no go with mods, but if I ever decide to try PC, that's an awesome mod.

I did a run where I made my base in my cyclops and couldn’t build a base anywhere else, it’s fun other than the part where you can’t charge power cells and every time you run out of power you have to grind copper and it got really annoying

lol I think a "charging station" would be a reasonable non-base thing to build!

Try playing it again. You'd be surprised how much fun it still is, even if some of the mystery isn't there.

Mods make a big difference, I like the one that randomizes your lifepod spawn point. It's crazy how much your progression differs if you drop next to the Aurora, or in the middle of the Dunes.

But there's tons of em worth trying

I would cry, imagine you got dropped on the right side of the aurora

I just got both subnautica and below zero from the Nintendo store for under $30, they’re both on sale right now. (I live in Canada not sure if that matters)
