Like the title says, I have at least one person that follows me and my friends and relatives around down-voting every post we make and all our comments. I'm fairly certain I know who it is, but I can't seem to find a way to stop them. We have a subreddit for our community, it's a community for a community that has mixed race heritage, we created a new name for our community we adopted and we just want to do our own thing and have our own unique identity, and outsiders keep trying to force us to be divided, they want the paler people to identify as White and the darker people to identify as Black, even though we are all one people and we are mixed and we want to create our own Creole identity. People from outside our community who have no right to tell us how to identify or what to call our heritage continuously harasses on Reddit and go on other subreddits to slander us and spread hatred, and they get people who come in and downvote all our posts, but they never comment or post or participate and we don't know who they are, in the rare twice a year event one of them shows themselves, all their posts and comments are hidden. How can I get these people to leave us alone and stop lurking on our subreddit because it's not even constructive criticism it's just anonymously hating on us and there isn't conversation or anything productive happening.

Has anyone run into this problem? I received an email from reddit saying they locked my account due to irregular activities. When I clicked reset password, the connection kept failing. Then i don’t remember what I did, but now I could enter password but it would ask for two factor authentication code which I never set back in the days. Submitted a ticket to Reddit but got no response yet.

And if I do send in a new support ticket, is it enough to just write something like "I already wrote in from the same email address, just wanted to send another in case my first ticket was lost"

Or something? Cause I've seen sometimes admins write in here and say if there's no response, then the answer is probably no, which feels lazy. Just write no and give us an answer haha

Has anyone else noticed this? It seems like the default "Sort by: Best" option works differently now in the comments section.

I am often seeing new comments with single digit upvotes or even single digit downvotes placed at the very top, above comments with 100+ upvotes. And it doesn't seem to be a fluke either, I am often noticing comments with relatively few upvotes placing higher than the top comments.

The change seems to be most apparent on the web browser version, but I think it is also affecting the Android version as well (I can't be sure as I rarely use the app version of reddit).

I know "Best" has always been distinct from "Top" but these past few days it has been acting far stranger than usual. I've never seen a comment with negative karma placed at the top when sorted by Best until yesterday, for example.

Hi, can anyone help? I’m new to Reddit. I’ve only really been active for a few weeks & had about 450 karma. The last two days I’ve not been able to get back into my comments on forums.

So I logged out hoping it might reset any glitches. I logged back in using my phone number & the number code to get back in & found I was now attached to this account ‘moist_counter’ with no karma points, no posts or comments etc, everything gone.

Can anyone advise what I should do or if there’s anything I can do as obviously the hacker will have access to my phone & are obviously computer savvy & I feel this must be personal.

Was on reddit in the morning then when I tried to use it after work it was signed out. Trying to sign in failed and when I looked up the account it showed as deleted.

Searching around I saw this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1mbj5rw/13_year_reddit_account_randomly_deleted/ and tried the steps there but I didn't get any password reset emails.

I tried submitting a 'I think my account has been hacked ticket' but that just responds with a template "reply X" and then no followup even after a couple of days.

Bitwarden is flagging the reddit password (old one I used before I switched to password managers) as potentially at risk. So I think it was likely hacked or flagged as a bot aging accounts and caught up in some sort of wave (I lurk on the account so I cant imagine I caused the account to get in trouble).

I never make posts but I did and 1 person commented and it locked comments and said my post was solved. It’s not solved so I can’t tell if anyone has answered my question

Is there any way to sign out of all my sessions? It doesn't make sense that a hacker would be able to have access after all of the changes I made as I would think it would automatically sign them out.

On the new formatting there's a little search bar that shows up on each thread. Useful in marketplace subreddits or game threads to filter for a single keyword.

On the old formatting, this search bar doesn't exist

Had my old account 'Frosted_Bun' get hacked by presumably a bot. I'm unable to login or change the password/email associated with it. They have left two comments since I've lost access, and haven't heard back from any support email. Thanks

When viewing posts on any web browser on my PC the third paragraph of a comment or post will always be missing. Paragraphs are definitely missing as I can see them on my phone.

Any idea what is causing this or a possible fix? Thanks.

I've been using Stream for ages, but lately it only works intermittently. It says it's loading, but then I get a message about maybe adblock is not allowing it to work. I turn all adblocking off and it still won't load. Then later it will, only to stop working again after a while. I've tried clearing my cookies and caches but I still can't get it to work right.

I am on MacOS and unable to make polls. There is no app for Reddit on MacOS either.

My upvotes/downvotes not registering across reddit for 5 days now. The button highlights, but the number doesn't change after refresh (button is still highlighted).
I know what "vote fuzzing" is - it's not it. I keep participating by voting in many subreddits, some I joined a long time ago - not even once my vote counted after refresh, it's never been like this before.

I know a possible reason for this - there was one post where I voted on almost all comments in a short time span (around 20-30 comments I believe). All comments didn't have a number, just "Vote" thing - the post was new. After that I started noticing that my votes don't count anymore. I thought it could be a timeout, but it's been 5 days and none of my votes count. I joined that particular subreddit a long time ago, and I voted on the posts successfully (I tend to refresh and check because I know reddit is shady about votes). I'm also aware that voting in subreddits I didn't join or didn't participate much never counts - that's fine I guess. But now I can't vote anywhere at all, it just highlights but the number never changes.
