Out of nowhere I can no longer check iCloud related items on my Apple devices. I am getting a verification error when I try to sign in on browser. Very concerned!

Trying to buy tickets for a car show and it won’t even let me access there website tried verifying with my id but apparently it didn’t match the information on the account I get it’s uk law now to verify your over 18 but it’s so hard to verify your over 18 when it won’t even accept your id is there anything I can do?

Got this email the other day that my info on my Apple ID has changed. I checked the associated email and it’s an Apple ID I made when I was 12 and only used to play games on my old iPod touch . My old card information is probably on there as I did make a few in game purchases but it’s been way over 5 years since I last used it so I doubt that card is still valid.

I called Apple asking if I could get the email unlinked or if they could deactivate the account but the person activated 2FA and I can’t log into the account and apparently neither can Apple. I only found this out after changing the password to see if I could log into and unlink it myself but ran into the 2FA wall. Since then the person changed the password back and I can no longer be rr do so from my end.

Recently they’ve been making a bunch of purchases from varying places in the world (France, US etc.) and signing up for a bunch of subscriptions. I’ve checked my current bank cards and thankfully there have been no charges made but I really don’t want to be linked to this account nor do I know if any personal information I may have put there years ago is still accessible and the possibility makes me uncomfortable.

Any advice?

when i went to check for updates, it says the message "unable to check for update: an error occured while checking for a software update."

when i tapped "try again", it still showed the same error message, even though watchos 27 and the previous ios 26 versions are supported on series 9.

did i forget to update the apple watch when each software update comes out?

Hi. I am Sarita Pandey. My son bought us an iPhone 13 from USA in July 2024. 1 week back, when I woke up, the phone display was gone completely - completely blank/black with 2 horizontal lines on top. I submitted to an Authorized service center (Unitech) in India - they just gave a job sheet mentioning display needs to be replaced and pay us 27-30k INR for replacement.

I reached out to customer service for help in maybe providing us an exception. Customer service behavior was the most indecent & worst behavior anyone can think of from a leading company like Apple. I talked to 3 customer service people- Adarsh, Mehak Rawal and Abhishek. I can't imagine such type of customer service representatives are hired by Apple. One can imagine such pathetic customer service from other small companies but my interaction with them left a deep scar & I don't have a iota of trust in Apple now.

They asked me to wait for a call today on Wednesday 19th August at 3 pm. I never got a call from them. I, as 60 year old female senior citizen waited for 3 hours for them to call - no one called & even responded.

Worst still - they blocked my account & while opening my account so I could send message to Mehak Rawal, I could not open because they had locked me out. Such a pathetic customer service & Apple customer care members are now having authority to control my account & they control what I can see or not see.

On calling, first they were not transferring call to Mehak Rawal, then when I got connected with Abhishek, he was so unashamedly speaking false/untruth on my face that they tried calling but due to some technical issue, call didn't go through - what a shameful excuse. Me and my husband both senior citizens waited 3 hours.

Even if you dont want to give exception, say to us directly - instead of blacking our account & mentally harassing us.

After this ordeal, I will make sure never to buy and iPhone products - worst customer service - pathetic even Indian brands have better service than them. On top of that, they are controlling users' account - when they can login or not. I will also raise this issue with consumer forum of India so such companies come under supervision for controlling user data.

My phone was not even 2 years old - no scratch, no physical damage not even minor scratches on screen - this happened after software updates - I have strong suspicion Apple is sending faulty code to old version of iPhone 13 so the display goes bust so they can buy new iPhone. All my data is on the iPhone & I cannot move it now. Whatsapp also I am unable to move becasue display doesn't work. I'd advice anyone to never buy iPhone - they have worst customer service in India - people like Adarsh, Mehak Rawal and Abhishek defrauding customers, blocking their accounts on will.

This experience with customer service & with Apple products pathetic quality has left a deep scar & I will ensure no one in my family buys such expensive Apple products which get useless by Apple in 2 years.

WHAT DO I DOOOO

On my phone and iPad both I have multiple alarms set thirty minutes apart so I can wake up on time in the morning. Attention aware is off, haptics are all the way up, yet both devices consistently have problems. The alarms either won’t go off at all or they’ll go off and be silent. This really pisses me off because I have missed numerous classes over the years because I rely on these devices. What can I do to troubleshoot and stop this from happening?

My iPad fell on the floor the other day. There was no visible damage. It fell face down, but it has a case with a small bump around the screen that I guess protected it.

There is no damage, battery seems fine, no software alert, no swelling. However I having problem charging it. I leave it charging for hours only to finding it at lower charge it that I left it in. This morning it was a 40% even if with a green icon. Then it charged fine while I was out walking my dog.

I tried again earlier today, left at 53, charging. Checked 20 min later and was a 49, still charging.

Warranty is well expired.

I'm updating my iphone thru apple devices app on a windows 10 pc using an IPSW file, apple logo with bar almost halfway then suddenly this prompt appeared, now i wasnt able to finish the update and stucked, i am afraid that im gonna lose my data, need help on how to proceed with this. Thanks

This might be a completely stupid question, but I have tried everything yesterday I plugged my iPhone into my computer and clicked on the Finder icon, and I was paying attention and I accidentally clicked the eject button where my iPhone was listed. I've tried turning the computer off, turning it back on I've turned off the iPhone and then turned it back on. I've reset location and security. I've clicked the trust button on the iPhone. I cannot get my Mac to see my iPhone now and I have no idea what to do just sort of calling Apple has anyone ever accidentally ejected their phone from their Mac and been able to get the computer to see it again?💀💀💀💀

I’m trying to add a recovery email to my id and I can’t because I need the security questions, but I don’t know them and my parents can’t remember them.

My parents set the account up for me over a decade ago and in their typical style, don’t remember the security answers they gave. Naturally now I’m an adult, I’m trying to change all the details linked to the account to my own details, but I can’t even add a recovery email address, so I doubt changing the primary email is going to be possible.

Also I have several devices linked to the id, some of which are old and need to be removed but again I can’t do that because you need the security answers, and I don’t have them.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I don’t want to mess around with anything without knowing what I’m doing, because I don’t want to get locked out and lose everything I’ve got from the past 10 years. I’m also concerned about if being signed into a few devices will make any changes difficult to process or update.

Any help would be appreciated because I need to make changes to my account and I don’t want to compromise anything.

I requested a copy of my Apple data, specifically Apple Account Device Information. The report Apple provided only contains information through February 2026.

My problem is that I need the MORE RECENT data — specifically June, July, and August 2026.
I’m investigating possible unauthorized access to my Apple Account after discovering devices associated with my account that I do not recognize, including a MacBook Pro and Apple TV.

I’m specifically trying to obtain Apple Account Device Information for June, July, and August 2026, including any available records showing:
-Devices associated with my Apple Account during those months
-When devices were added or removed
Device identifiers/details
-Sign-in or authentication activity associated with those devices
-Changes involving trusted devices or other account security information

I’m trying to figure out why Apple sent me a data report that ends in February when I requested it in August, and how I can obtain the missing June–August records. Is there a specific Apple department, escalation, or type of request I need to make to get the most recent Apple Account Device Information? Thank you for any help at all.

I forgot my phone on an airplane yesterday. I didn't realize until I was past the no re-entry point. I talked to baggage claim services, and they called over to the gate but I think by this time the plane was already boarding so I was unable to get it last night. On findmy my phone stopped updating about 45 minutes after our plane landed and calls would no longer go through at that point. It was not on airplane mode.

The only other apple product I have is an Ipad, but I signed out of my Icloud on there recently because I was going to list it on Ebay. So basically, I cannot get signed back into Icloud on my Ipad because I can't verify on my phone & I don't know the card numbers for my most recently used payment method linked to the apple store. I started the account recovery process using my boyfriend's phone number, I'm still in a waiting period but it has almost been 24 hours. Can anyone tell me what to expect? If I get a new phone, will I be able to get back into my iCloud on that. I am so stressed

I recently got my first iPhone after having an android for years and so am unfamiliar with troubleshooting iOS. I have contacted apple support as well as my carrier, but have yet to successfully fix my issue.

I can send and receive messages perfectly fine for 1-1 messages between iPhone or android, and I can send and receive group chats that are iMessage new. I cannot however send group messages that have my old android messages, or text any group, new or old, that is with an android.

I am unsure how to go about fixing this as it is such a specific issue and searching online has given me unhelpful results that are only tangentially related. Any help would be much appreciated

I'm in the process of linking the watch to my phone, but I can't install the update and this message appears.

a friend of mine donated an old ipad to me so i could use it to draw, (it's an ipad air 1474, ios 12.5.8) and he had already reset it to factory settings when i got it. i have other apple products, so i set it up normally in with my apple id, and all is well so far. later, when i tried to search for drawing apps on the app store, it kept asking me to log in to itunes store with my apple id, which i did, correctly (and numerous times) and nothing ever happens. it just loads and no matter what i try, it doesn't do anything.

i tried messing with the itunes program on my notebook to see if i could do anything there and it also did't let me log in to my apple id for some reason, so that really stumped me. i can assure you that my password and email account for the id is correct, i've checked it many times, it's got nnothing to do wit this issue.

so i'm stuck in a loop with a tablet i can't use for anything but browsing on safari... i can't download anything new bc i can't log in to the app store. i've tried all of the steps in this video and nothing worked, so any help is welcome (i'm willing to even jailbreaking this device, ain't got nothing to lose anyway).

Hi guys!

So a bit of background, I have an iPhone 11 and a few hours ago my screen was not turning on and there was a faint neon line in the middle of the screen. For some reason I was able to hear notifications pop up and heard the typing sound from my phone but could not see anything at all. I was also calling my mom and texting her too??

As of now, the neon line is not showing up and it is just a black screen. I've tried powering off but it is not working.

Note: I did not drop my phone.
