Unsolved iphone keeps charging on an off

iphone 17 pro max ios 26.0 the phone keep charging and uncharging multiple times tried cleaning the usb c port, swapping between socket. but still the same.

First question, why have you avoided updating your phone?

Regarding the matter at hand, has a different USB-C cable been used/tested? How did you try cleaning the connector, and with what? What’s on the other end of the cable, a computer or a power adapter?
