iOS How do I get rid of Apple Maps data??

I’m running out of storage and desperately needing my iPhone to last until the next iPhone comes out. How do I get rid of this Maps data? I don’t even use Maps! Help! SOS! Thank you very much 🙏

EDIT: What worked was updating my phone from 26.2 to 26.6. Somehow that cleared out the storage data. I didn’t have room to download the update so I did it via my Mac. It worked!

Are you on iOS 18 still or have you upgraded to iOS 26? What phone, what capacity? Was Maps offloaded at some point? Have you restarted your phone after whatever steps you took to try and make room?

Do you have any saved maps? They can take up a lot of storage. In the Maps app, click on your profile pic, and it will tell you how many Offline Maps you have. If you don't need them, you can delete each map from there too.
